Good Morning

The Weekend is here! I started the day of at 4:50am this morning looking in on Chris. I have a raging headache for some reason. Elise is still knocking out those zzzz's but she is out of her cave this morning. She will be starting her day very soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and I am out of danish, no donuts, what am I going to do? We went to see the movie "Driver' last night and it was excellent and some good blood and brains scenes. After the movie we went to "BJ's" for dinner. Elise ordered a red and I had a Piranha beer. It was packed and we had to wait for about twenty minutes to get seated.
We shared some wings and a small bowl of minestrone soup that was really good. Elise ordered a gluten-free pizza and I had the grilled pork chops that were good but nothing like what Buddy's used to serve. The mashed potatoes that came with it were very good. I ordered another beer and Elise had another glass of vino. It was a good evening.
We returned home and I checked on Chris and we called it a night. Well, I had better look in on Chris. Have a great weekend and be careful.
Cheers............

Here is a bit more about our Alaskan cruise:
10-Sept-11
We got up this morning at around 8:00am and Elise is not feeling to chipper today she thinks that she had too much libation yesterday. Elise walked the track anyway. That should perk her right up quickly.
We went for breakfast and Elise had her usual oatmeal with pecans, raisins and fruit. I had eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, sweet rolls and we both had plenty of coffee. We are at sea and we are heading for Victoria.
Later we played the slots and we lost $100.00 but still we were having fun. Elise suggested that we go and have lunch, not the norm for her to request that. I took is as a sign that she is feeling much better. Elise had rice, potato salad, veal in a sauce, sausage and sauerkraut. I had two small sandwiches, potato salad, part of a chicken breast and some pork tenderloin. We both has soft serve ice cream for dessert. We were stuffed and we could use a nap.
We docked in Victoria, British Columbia at 6:00pm. On the pier there were people dressed in colonial clothing to greet the ships as they docked. We took the bus to the downtown area so we could explore. This place is really green and very clean.
We walked around and we went into many shops. We went into one of the famous hotels and I took a few pics of it. Elise's Mum had high tea at this hotel many years ago and that brought back memories for Elise.
We bought some t-shirts while we were walking around. We stopped at a seafood restaurant for dinner. Elise had fish chowder that was outstanding. I had fish and chips and we got it down with some red.
We caught the bus back to the pier and we went straight to our stateroom. We began to pack up our suitcases so we good put them outside of our stateroom door for pick up. We layed out our clothes for the next day and we called it a night. Another good day on the "Pearl".
