27 MAR CHURCH HAT!

How did you day go? Well, mine was a total bust. I didn't get to do anything that I had planned to do today. So, now I will have to push it all over to next week.

Tomorrow will be a busy day for us. No caregiver tomorrow as well, except for me. Chris the iRobot will be coming out of his cradle to clean the main house carpet. I also have to get Chris ready and settled for his afternoon dental appointment.

My suitcase is out, but I will not be able to pack until tomorrow. Hope I don't forget anything. I also have to make a trip over on the east side as well. 

We will be hitting the road late tomorrow and we have not ever done that before. We will stop in Yuma, for an overnight, before we make our way to San Diego.

So, I hope that you get a good night's sleep so you can be ready for Taco Tuesday. I will not be posting to the blog tomorrow because I have so much to get done.  We will have our cells, and tablets with us. Stay safe, and I will chat at you later.

Well, today is a true Monday. My playmate just let me know that Jackie the caregiver is not coming today.

So, this has changed my day completely. So, I am caring for Chris today and this setback is going to carry over into tomorrow for sure. Tomorrow we will be taking Chris to his dental appointment in the afternoon. 

This San Diego getaway is going to be needed for sure. I had to get a few things done today for our trip but now it has to wait until tomorrow. I hate being rushed because you forget things and you make mistakes. I always hear that you have to be flexible, but that is not me because I plan my work and I work my plan, smile! I work smarter, not harder!

Buongiorno!  Buon Lunedi!  How are you doing?  We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Hawaiian Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. My coffee is in a (bicchiere) mug that was made for me by my dear angel friend who resides in New Orleans. It is a crisp, but clear morning here in Tucson.

Jackie will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she reminded me that I have few tasks to complete today, to include doing some yard work on the back patio area. I asked her to play some more BB King for me today. 

Rosemarie will be here this morning to give Chris and Elise a massage. Chris has a big smile on his face.

Well, I will pack up my suitcase today for our trip to San Diego. It is going to be raining while we are there. So, an umbrella will be packed as well.

My playmate and I went to the "Roadhouse" last night to see the movie "John Wick 4". It was excellent and loaded with action from start to finish. We loved it!

Well, I had better check on Chris. Have a good Lunedi and I will chat at you later. Stay safe.

We enjoyed a very nice breakfast at the "Egg Connection" with Mio Cognata. It was a pretty good breakfast crowd today.

We just got back from a very nice refreshing scooter ride. My shorty is now getting Chris up into his chair. She is going to give him a haircut before he goes into the main house to watch TV.

I have completed my usual Domenica tasks and now I am going to work on the back yard patio.  After that I will get my suitcase out and start to pack for San Diego. My playmate is all packed and ready to go.

Buongiorno!  Buon Domenica!  How are you doing? We stated the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Breakfast Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed at the "Egg Connection". It is a chilly, but clear morning here in Tucson.

My playmate is caring for Chris today. Alexa is awake and she said that I have my usual Domenica tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today. Sister Jayne will be here at 5:00pm to care for Chris.

We have made our packing list for our trip to San Diego that starts on Tuesday evening. We will have to make some adjustments to our packing because it is going to be raining the whole time that we are there.

We enjoyed a good dinner last night at the "Coronet". We were joined by my (cognata) and it was good to see her. After dinner we made our way over to the "ATC" to see the play "Pru Payne". It was spectacular and it got a well-deserved standing ovation.

After the play we returned home and called it game over. My (cognata), stayed in "Dew Drop Inn" room #2. She will be joining us for breakfast.

Well, I had better check on Chris. My shorty and I will be starting "Easter" rocks soon. Have a good Domenica and I will chat at you later. Stay safe, happy, and healthy.

I am caring for Chris today up until 5:00pm when Sister Jayne arrives. Alexa is awake and she said that today is going to be another busy one. I asked her to play some BB King for me today.

We had a very nice visit yesterday from my girlfriend (Flo). It is always a pleasure to have one of my girls drop in. I am one lucky guy! She always brings gifts for me. Have a look!

My playmate and I will be joining Bucky and Dena this morning at 10:00am to play Pickleball.

This evening we will be hosting a dinner for Cleo and Alphonso. We will have T-bone steaks, baked potatoes, salad, sweet peas, and a good dessert. My shorty has set out a bottle of Chianti to go along with dinner.

The coffee is a good Hawaiian Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a mild, but cloudy and windy morning here in Tucson. It is supposed to rain most of the day today.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that today is going to be super busy. I asked her to play some music to cook by.

Yes, today is Chefs Day. My Sous Chef and I will be tossing around pots and pans once again. We will be preparing Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken with Rice. My Sous will select the libation to go along with the meal.

If the weather holds up, we will meet up with Bucky and Dena to play some Pickleball at Reid Park.

I have to make a trip over on the eastside this morning. I have begun my new rock creation. I will complete it in a day or two.

How are you doing? Did your day go well today? The wind once again has delayed my yard work. It is supposed to rain over the next few days and that will delay things again.

Chris and I watched a couple of (horror) movies this afternoon and we loved them. Another issue came up with the caregiver today at the end of her shift.  Chris lap belt snap was missing, and I just found it this evening. He was sitting on it. Also, his right leg rest was not seated properly, and his leg was turned inward instead of straight forward. This are things that you cannot miss, being wrong. It blows my mind!

My shorty prepared homemade blueberry pancakes with link sausages, eggs, and plenty of coffee to get it all down. It was all good. After dinner we got Chris out of his chair and into his house. We got him down early because we had to take Azalya to the vet. We took Azalya to her appointment to the tune of $550.00 green backs. 

I am caring for Chris tonight. He is enjoying his supplemental dinner while he is watching TV.  I will give him some yogurt for dessert.

It is very windy right now and it is looking like rain is on the way. Tomorrow is going to be another busy day for us. Lately we have been running around like a chicken with its head cut off.

Speaking of chicken. Tomorrow is Chefs Day. My Sous Chef and I will be preparing some Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings with Rice. My Sous Chef will select a libation to go along with the meal. Are you drooling yet? 

I need to contact my (fidanzata) for an explanation about who sent her some roses today. If it wasn't Capo Jim or me, we need to have conversation (subito).

How was your day? It has been pretty good day today. It has been very windy here in Central Tucson. So windy that it postponed my back yard work.

So, I prepped a new rock to be painted. I got to spend a lot of time with myself today. I gave many issues some thought and know exactly who I am and what I believe in. I always think before I speak and act on anything, thanks to my upbringing. 

My playmate prepared chili for dinner and it was very good. I added a couple of hot dogs to mine. It was all good. We watched "NCIS" on "Paramount" with Chris.

I am caring for Chris tonight. He is resting and he is watching TV. He is also downing his supplemental drip as well.

Tomorrow we will be taking Azalya to the vet to see if she has developed a skin condition. She has been scratching quite a bit lately.

I got out to the airbase today to pick up some replacement 9mm ammo for our Glock. Have to keep some on hand all of the time.

I got a very nice photo from my girlfriend Edwina today. I will share it with you on Hump Day. We also received a very nice pictorial book about Obama. She loaned it to us so we good enjoy it as much as she does. Here are a couple of pics from the book. I have to tell you that my girlfriends look after me very well. I am one lucky guy.

Jackie will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few errands to take care of today. First off, I will be making my way to the airbase to pick up some 9mm ammo. I also need to pick up a few more items while I am out there.

If the weather holds up, I will start to clean up the backyard area. My playmate and I will start new rocks very soon.

Hey, we only have two team in the Pac 12 hanging on. They are UCLA and Colorado. Hopefully they can advance further in this March Madness.

How are you doing so far on this Domenica? We are good here in windy Tucson.

We enjoyed a very good breakfast at the "Egg Connection' as usual. After breakfast we returned to take a ride in the hood on our scooters. What fun they are. It was a bit breezy with the wind blowing but we still loved it.

Elise and Chris are in the main house watching "Murder She Wrote" on DVD. It is a good series. We are looking forward to our "Lady Cats" basketball game at 2:30pm.

I just finished with my normal tasks for next week, and now I am waiting on the dryer to complete a cycle. After that I will join my shorty and Chris in the main house. I still need to do some yard work in the backyard and in the easement. I also need to cut back a tree that is hanging and brushing against Chris's house.

I spent about 50 minutes on the phone and on the PC with AOL. I had an issue with syncing AOL , Windows, and Microsoft. It has been corrected.
