Mood: Content but still HOT!!

How are you doing this fine Sunday morning? I started the day off at 5:15am looking in on Chris. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning after she rises like the Phoenix. Any plans for today? The coffee is good and I am eyeing a cheese danish that Elise bought for and it is looking really good. I will not indulge myself because we are going out to breakfast with Mum this morning.

Yesterday was a very interesting and educational day for Elise and I. After Rosemary arrived to care for Chris we packed up and headed for the Tanque Verde Swap Meet to see how it works. We got all set up and we waited for the crowds to show up and they did. We did not make any sales but that was OK, we got plenty of lookers and we handed out a few business cards. I surveyed the other vendors and they we not selling anything as well. The vender that was next to us said that it was a very slow evening and that it is like that sometimes. He also said that things would pick up at 9pm to 11pm, but that was not an option for us to stay that long. We packed up and left at around 8:30pm and we headed out to Applebees for dinner. I enjoyed being at the swap meet to see how it worked. I truly grateful to Elise for being there with me to endure the heat and the crowds.

We got to Applebees and we shared a bottle of red of course. We shared some hot chicken wings while we waited for the entree. Elise had the grilled Tilapia with veggies and I had the Bourbon steak with red potatoes and veggies. We sampled each others plate. We also shared a Long Island Ice Tea a double and it was great. We topped off the meal with a hot cup of coffee while we listened to karaoke singers. We returned home and I checked on Chris and we called it a night.

We are going out for Ethiopian food tonight at Zemems, we will meet up with Paula and Marty there. Have a good Sunday and a better upcoming week.
