Buona Sera!

Did you get rained on? Wasn't it refreshing. It would be nice to get a little bit more.

I have been dragging all day long. I hope to kick whatever this is that I have contracted. I am caring for Chris this evening and my shorty just left for her book club meeting at "Gavi". I will be looking forward to some Tortellini Soup.  I have my soup spoon at the ready position.

Here is a bit more about our cruise. Enjoy! Didn't that Bakery make you hungry? I am still thinking about it.

We went to breakfast with Sheila and Dave. We got in just in time because they were about to start setting up for lunch.  I has two ham and cheese omelets. They are so good on cruise ships. Elise a omelet and Sheila had biscuits and gravy her favorite breakfast. Dave downed some French Toast and waffles. We were full.

Elise and I made it up to deck 16 where the belly flop contest was to start at 11:30am. No belly flop so we sat at the bar and we enjoyed Screwdrivers. We people watched people in and around the pool.

After that we went down to the gym  where we found Sheila on a treadmill. Elise hopped up on a stationary bike and I took pictures. After the gym we made our way back to our stateroom to rest up.

Later we went to the Sports Bar and we found Sheila there enjoying a Bloody Mary. So we joined her and we had a Gin and Tonic apiece. After that we went to the buffet  and we got some burgers an fries and they were excellent.

Later we met up with Dave and the four of us hit the casino. We spent a couple of hours there and then we went back to our room. At 5:00pm we met Dave and Sheila at the Impanema restaurant for dinner. Elise enjoyed her Pheasant. She said it was really good and it was. I enjoyed clam chowder and Papardelli. I also enjoyed Baked Alaska for dessert.

After dinner we went to the theater to see the show "Peter Punk". It is the ships version of Peter Pan and Captain Hook. No alligator but T-Rex. It was very good.  After the show we strolled over to the Sports Bar for a "White Russians". They were potent let me tell you. There was a guy siting next to us at the bar said that he added lemonade this Russian. Sound really gross. We called it another good night at sea.
