Mood: Disappointed!  ( I lost ).

   It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise is caring for Chris today. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is freshly brewed and I do need an eye-opener this morning. We are going to have breakfast at the "Egg Connection" this morning. Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris.

   It was a hot one here in Tucson yesterday and I bet today will be the same or hotter. It is time for the shorts, t-shirts, flip flops, hats and sunscreen. Our summer has begun.

   We had a very nice evening at "Relish" with Loraine, Jim and Bobby. The food was very good. The drinks were good but not to our liking when it comes to "Mojitos". It did not have enough alcohol in it and not enough mint. A disappointment for Jim. Elise and Loraine had vino and Bobby and I enjoyed our "Slippery Nipples". Hey, you don't get pair of those to often, smile!

   After dinner we all met up at our home and it was on. Yes, the "Wizard" fest was in full swing. Much to my disappointment it swung the wrong way. My girlfriend Loraine, did not win like she predicted that she would, Elise won the first round, I lost like I predicted I was not going to, Jim did not win, but the victor was Bobby. Yes, Bobby won the title as the "Wizard". 

  So Bobby donned the "Wizard" attire that included the hat, cape, and wand. So It was butts in the air to give homage to the "Wizard". During our play the margaritas were flowing, the vino was flowing as well. 

   For dessert Elise served up two types of cookies and a some really good gelato. We also enjoyed some "Sambuca" with whole coffee beans from Italy. It was a wonderful evening filled with good food, libation, fun, and loads of laughs. Thank you all so very much!

   Well, I had check on Chris and get ready for breakfast, Have a great Sunday. We are meeting up with Paula, Marty, Shoo and Stu at "Zemams" for dinner this evening.

    It's the Weekend! How goes it? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise gave me a quick glance this morning and she retreated back into her cave. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and a nice smoothie is the ticket for this morning. Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris and Rosemary will be here this evening.

     I have four continuing education classes to complete within the next couple of days. I am not ready for that but it must be done, smile!

    My playmate and I had a nice time at "La Parrila Suiza" last night. We enjoyed some "Happy Hour" snacks and a few margaritas. Afterwards we saw the play "The Columnist". It was excellent and the acting was superb. Wow! Stu and Shoo you were spot on about this one.

    This evening we are meeting up at "Relish" for dinner. It will be Loraine, Jim, Bobby, Elise and myself. After dinner we will return to our home so the (#!%t) can hit the fan. Yes, we will be playing "Wizard" to see who takes over the crown and wand. Without a doubt it is going to be me donning the crown for sure. Loraine we will see how well those clicking slippers work tonight. NOT! By all means bring them with you tonight.

    Well, I had better get busy. Have a great weekend and be careful out there.

Hello,

How is it going? It is going pretty good here in the valley of Tucson. It is heating up very fast and I bet we reach that high 90 temp today.

I just returned from running my errands and I stopped to have the Fiat 500L Trekking washed. I am going to grab another cup of coffee for that extra boost that I need.

Chris and I are heading for the main house to relax and watch a little TV. My girlfriend (Loraine) is taunting me big time today because she knows what time it is.

Tomorrow after dinner at the "Relish" it is on between us. Yes, the battle to see who will hold the title of "Wizard". I have no doubt about who it is going to be but Loraine begs to differ. Begging is a sign of defeat, and butts will be in the air. Yeah Mon'. "No Problem".

Chat at you later. I am going to practice my trick card shuffling while Chris is resting.

    It's a TGIF! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be up and on the move soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and I think I will have some leftover fried rice for breakfast. Marv will be here this evening to care for Chis.

     We had a very nice evening with Dena and Bucky last night, thanks to Angelica staying over to work with Chris. 

     We enjoyed some good Chinese food and plenty of vino. Well, the "Wizard" fest came out like this. Dena and I did not win but Elise and Bucky won one round apiece. It was loads of fun. Thank you Bucky and Dena. 

     Loraine, don't let this event put ideas in your head. Don't let it get you to thinking that this is going to happen tomorrow during our "Wizard" fest. Forget about it!

     Elise and I are going to have a light dinner at "La Parrilla Suiza" this evening along with a few cocktails. Afterwards we are going to the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play "The Columnist". It should be a good one but it got mixed reviews.

    Well, I had better get my groove on. Have a great "TGIF".

    It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and I am sure that a second cup will be had very soon. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris and Bobby will be here this afternoon.

    Well, I have to tell you that we had a very nice evening at the home of Shoo and Stu last night. We enjoyed a wonderful meal and some good (vino rosso).

    Our battle at the game of "Mahjong" was spectacular. It was a fight to the finish and the results were great because we set a record of play. We all won a round apiece and that has never happened. What a wonderful evening! Thank you Shoo and Stu.

    Elise and Chris will be receiving a massage this morning from Pam. Elise and I are going to the movies to see "Danny Collins". It was recommended by Shoo and Stu that we see it.

    Later in the evening we will be hosting a game of "Wizard" here. We will be joined by Dena and Bucky. It is going to be and evening of fun, food and cutthroat. 

    Well, I had better get to it. Have a wonderful Thirsty Thursday. Elise and I enjoyed a bottle of "Moretti" Italian beer yesterday and it was so good. All that was missing was a nice (Panni) to go along with it.

   The coffee is very good this morning and I will have a slice of toast to go along with it. Rosemary will be here this afternoon to care for Chris.

    Elise and I have an errand to run this afternoon. Later in the day we will be visiting Shoo and Stu for a game of "Mahjong". I am ready to be the winner for sure. It will be good practice for when I am the victor come this Saturday. I will become the new "Wizard" and Loraine knows that because she is shaking in her boots, smile!

How was your day? It has been a good one here in Tucson. I got my errands taken care of this morning. It has been a hot one today.

Elise prepared breakfast for dinner this evening. We had crispy bacon, hash browns, toast and jellies. We had plenty of coffee to wash it all down.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is in here office on her desktop. Elise and I have a few errands to take care of tomorrow afternoon while Rosemary is here caring for Chris.

     I have to tackle a couple of errands early this morning. It is a nice morning here in Tucson so far. Other than that I have no plans at all.

How was your day? It has been a very good one here in Central Tucson. I hope that tomorrow will be a repeat of today.

I saluted the flag and I took it down to end this Memorial Day. I received a very nice Memorial Day card from Jane and Papa John. I also received a very nice on the blog from Bobby as well. They made my day even better. Thank You.

Well, I have some breaking news that took place this afternoon at around 1:30pm. We were visited by Shoo and Stu and we played ping-pong. 

Well, come to find out that Shoo Shoo is a ringer when it comes to ping pong. She beat me and Stu. She is very good at ball placement especially on the end tips of the table. Shoo did not beat my playmate though.

I am very impressed with Shoo Shoo's game and I want a rematch very, very soon. Maybe I should have served her up a few flutes of champagne. I will have some chilling for our next meeting. It was a lot of fun!

Elise prepared corn on the cob, tomatoes from our garden, little potatoes and baby carrots. It was all good. We watched a movie on DVD from Netflix titled "Movie 43". It is hilarious and we are positive that Jane and John will love it.

I am caring for Chris this evening and and Elise is in her office on her desktop. We hope that your day was as good as ours.

   It's a Monday! Happy Memorial Day! I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but she will be up and on the move soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good this morning. I put up the flag this morning and I gave a salute to all of my fallen comrades in arms to start this Memorial Day. Without their sacrifice we would not be a free nation today. Bless and think about the many who are serving today to assure that we keep our freedom.

   I have no plans for today so it should be a relaxed day at least I hope so. It is a very nice morning here in the Old Pueblo, but it is going to heat up soon.

   We had a wonderful evening last night at the "Hog Pit" with Shoo, Stu, Jane, Papa John, and two other couples. The food was very good and the music was being played by Lisa Otey and Diane Van Deurzen. It was a very nice crowd at the "Hog Pit".

   Elise and I may be playing ping pong this afternoon with Shoo and Stu. We will take it easy on them or maybe not, smile!

   We are looking forward to Mahjong with Shoo and Stu in a few days and I will be defeating my girlfriend Loraine at "Wizard" on Saturday. She knows what time it is, smile!

   It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise will be caring for Chris today. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good this morning. We are going to the "Egg Connection" this morning for breakfast. Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris.

    I want to thank everyone for the get well wishes for me over the past few days. I am feeling much better this morning and I can say I am at about 95%.

   Elise and I rested big time on our short stay-cation at the Towne Place Suites here in Tucson. All made possible by my brother Herman. If not for my brother I more than likely would still be feeling terrible. 

  We just relaxed totally. We even got in a few movies and we played video games on our laptop. We even spent a little time at the DDC.

We are going to meet up this evening with Shoo, Stu, Jane and John at the "Hog Pit" for dinner and live music. It should be a fun evening.

Hey, how was your day? Well, I hope that is was much better than mine. I went out to the Tacoma to begin loading it up for our trip to New Mexico and I decided to start it up.

Well, it did not start at all. The battery was dead as a door nail. I took Chris's van and I gave it a jump and it started. We just got it back from a routine service and it should have started.

We are taking it back in to be looked at in the morning. I have not been feeling well for the past few days and today was no different.

So we decided to cancel our trip until I was feeling better. I know my playmate was looking forward to this trip to see her friend Nanci. Elise called Nanci and Jeff to let them know that we were not coming. I feel so bad about not feeling well.

Elise suggested that I contact my brother Herman so we could get a Marriott property for a few days so I can rest because if I am at home she knows that I will not rest. So we are waiting to hear back from him.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise just left for her book club meeting at "Kingfisher's". My playmate knows that I am not feeling well because I asked her not to bring me anything back for dinner.

We are looking for Eddie to arrive at anytime to spend the night in Do Drop Inn #2. We hope that you have a good evening.

   I woke up this morning with something nagging at me about taking this trip to New Mexico. I am sure that it is nothing but I will keep my eyes wide open.

   Eddie will be here today to stay in the Do Drop Inn Room #2 overnight. He will return on Friday to stay as well.

How has your day been? It has been a good one here. Chris and I took it slow and easy like we always do on a Monday.

I got my lab work done and I am looking forward to the results. I am still having some shoulder pain but I am icing it down and taking a inflammatory medicine.

Elise prepared corn on the cob, tomatoes, carrots and small potatoes for dinner. It was very good. We watched an episode of "The Fosters" on Netflix with Chris.

We are preparing to send out the invitations for our upcoming Mystery Dinner titled "Murder at the Mardi Gras". It will take place in July. We are really looking forward to it.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is in her office on her desktop. Have a great evening and stay safe.

It's A Monday!

   It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise gave me a glance this morning and she popped back into her cave. She will be up and on the move soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and I am dying for a cup but it will have to wait until after my lab work appointment at 9:00am this morning. Believe me after the blood work I will diving into the pot head first, smile!

   I also have an errand to take care of at around 10:00am as well. We will be going over our packing list for our trip to New Mexico sometime today. The trip begins on Wednesday and we will return on Saturday. We be helping to frame a new home.

  I hope that my right shoulder starts to feel better. I believe that I aggravated a nerve or strained a muscle. I am taking it easy with my right arm because the pain is really bad.

  Elise and I enjoyed the movie "Perfect Pitch 2" at El Con Mall last night.It is very funny and quite silly just like we are, smile!

   Well, I had better get a move on. Have a great day and don't forget it is a Monday, smile!

AZALA IS ABOUT TO GET SCHOOLED. 

Hey, how is it going so far? We had a very nice breakfast at the "Egg Connection" and the food was as good as ever.

Elise is caring for Chris and I just got back from taking "Buttercup" on a walk. I am now going to tackle a little yard work behind Chris's house.

Our other fur-baby is going to need some serious discipline and I am just the one to dish it out for her, smile! She is a chewer and she doesn't want to listen to what you have to say to her. She also likes to jump on people when they are here and that is a n0-no.

Elise and I are going to hit up the movies this evening to see "Pitch Perfect 2". We hope your day is going as well as ours is so far.
