    It's Thirsty Thursday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave so she will be up and about very soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and I will have some more cottage cheese for breakfast and some fruit. Yeah! It is a nice morning here in the valley. A lot warmer than the past few days.

    We have no plans for this New Years Eve. We are staying home as usual. We will celebrate the New Year with some corn bread, black eyed peas with ham, rice. We have the bubbly on ice ready to be enjoyed.

    We had a very time at "Le Rende-vous French Bistro". It was my victory dinner that my (shorty) agreed to. Bobby joined us for this one.

    We started out with cocktails. I had a Watermelon Gimlet, Bobby had Prosecco, Elise had a Dirty Martini. We enjoyed fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. 

    Elise and I shared a Salade d'Epinards. We shared Frogs Legs, Escargots, Shrimp Stuffed w/Crab. It was so good.

    Bobby had Saint-Jacques- Pan seared jumbo scallops over roasted garlic aioli.

    Elise and I got the Chateaubriand Bearnaise Sauce for two- Roasted beef tenderloin with herds, potatoes and veggies.

   For dessert we enjoyed Creme Brule' du Jour, Lave Cake w/Ice cream. So good. Elise and I had a nice Malbec with our entree. Bobby had a second Prosecco. We finished the meal off with coffee. 

   A grand evening and a expensive one to say the least. Thank you (shorty) Elise. Well,I had better get to it. Have a great New Years Eve and a Grand Happy New Year.
