Sunday!

Good Morning!

Mood: Tired! Frisky!

Music listening to: When I Think Of You by Janet Jackson

It's a Sunday! Sup? I started the day off at 5:00am getting Chris settled for Elise. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be over to start her day with Chris soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good this morning and I am eyeing a Halo but I will hold off until after we have breakfast at the "Egg Connection". It is a cold one here in the valley of Tucson. My playmate and I will be breaking out a hoodie to wear this morning for sure.

Well, the "Tucson Women's Chorus" took off at the Botanical Gardens last night. The chorus did a very good job even in the cold and rain. They were bundled up in winter gear and some even had on gloves.  I enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate and a bowl of Okinawan chili. Delicious.

We are going to meet up this evening with Paula, Marty, Shoo and Stu at "Zemams" for dinner. It is always a good time we were are together to enjoy a good meal and a few bottles of vino (rosso).

We hope that your day will be a good one. Here is what happened on the second day of our trip to Hollywood. Enjoy and stay well.
Later....Jessie and Elise

4 Dec 2015

We started the day off at 7:30am. Elise didn't sleep well due to it being too warm but I did. We got dressed and we started our day by walking to a place called the "Waffle" for breakfast. It is a place that Zack told us about.

Unfortunately we walked in the wrong direction so it took twice as along to find it. Be that as it may we finally found it and they had gluten free waffles and that made Elise say "Yeah". I had eggs, ham and hash browns. The place was packed with people. We sat outside so we could people watch while we enjoyed our meal. The weather was perfect.

After breakfast we stopped at the "Arclight" theater to get tickets to see the movie "The Danish Girl". The movie was excellent and very well done. An Oscar should be given for this one.

We walked for a total of about 6 miles today. We returned to our studio for a wind down and a Jack and Coke. Yeah!

We met up with Zack at his home and we walked over to a place called "The Mud Hen Tavern" for dinner. It is a very small and intimate place that had a line out the door. Good thing Zack made reservations for us.

We started out with some vino of course. Elise had some lamb meatballs, and bean fritters. I had a massive pork chop with lentils. I passed the lentils over to Elise. Zack enjoyed the salmon. We also shared two delicious pretzels. All for a total of $105.00 greenbacks.

After dinner we walked over to the "Key" were we where the night before for more drinks. Elise had a White Russian, I had another "Penicillin, and Zack had a gin cocktail. We also shared "twigs" which are pretzels cut so thin that they looked like twigs from a tree. They were great.

After that we walked to a near by liquor store to pick up some diet cokes, Jack, and snacks. We said good night to Zack and we made our way back to our studio to called it a night. Another good day in Hollywood. Looking forward to spending the day with Zack tomorrow.
