It's Sunday!

Tucson Wedding

Mood: Rummied!

It's Sunday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:40am getting Chris ready for Elise. Elise is in her cave but she will be up shortly to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

The Kona coffee is great this morning. We are going to go out for breakfast at "Bread and Butter". We have been there before and the food is good.

We had a very nice evening and our "Wildcats' won as well. Go Cats! Elise and I had dinner at "Saint House Rum Bar downtown. It was great and it was suggested that we visit there by Paula and Marty.

We started off with a very nice table. We watched the action on Congress street. We love to people watch, don't you?

Elise ordered a Ron Matusalem Platino (a Dominican Republic rum. I ordered a Mojito that was really good. We shared an order of Taro Chips with Banana Ketchup. Fantastic! Taro chips is a root that is deep fried and the ketchup is a blend of bananas and spices.

We tried the Jerk Chicken that was very spicy and ooh so good. Elise ordered the Mexican-style spicy shrimp (Ceviche). It is delicious! Elise said that on our next visit she is going to order three types of Ceviche.

I ordered the Ropa Vieja Saint House when translated means (old clothes). Well these old clothes were delicious. It is a boneless beef short rib that has been braised for 48 hours and then seared with rum and spices. Woohoo, it is so good.

We ordered a couple more cocktails. I ordered a sipping rum at the cost of $18.00 dollars. I was in rum heaven. The Saint House was turning away people left and right. It was all booked up with reservations and the bar area was packed. It is recommended that you make a reservation before hand like we did. We will be making another trip downtown to get our grub on at Saint House Rum Bar. Kudos to Paula and Marty.

We are going to do battle this evening with Shoo and Stu. We are going to play "Mahjonng" so they need to prepare for a beat-down and they should have plenty of coin to send my way for sure.

Well, I had better check on Chris and get ready to get my grub on at "Bread and Butter". Have a great day.
Later.........Jessie and Elise
