Sunday!

     It's a Sunday! How are things going? I started the day off at 4:50am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise is in her cave this morning and she is purring away. She will be up soon to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and my  banana, orange, and whey smoothie is in waiting on me in the fridge. Our dear friend Shelia arrived yesterday at around 3:00pm. It was good to see her and to hear what has been happening in her life and the goings on in Douglas, Arizona.

    We sat around the table in the family room and of course the gin and tonics were flowing nicely. Sheila met John who was caring for Chris, and Bobby dropped by to she her for awhile.

    Later Rosemary arrived to care for Chris and she met Sheila as well. At around a quarter to 6:00pm we left and we were on our way to "Chad's Steakhouse and Saloon.

    We got seated and we all ordered tall Gin and Tonics, they were very good. We all had salads and I ordered some of their chicken wings that were very good. She ordered shrimp for her entree, Elise ordered a fillet for herself, I ordered my prime rib. I have to tell you my prime rib was delicious and the straight horseradish was spot on. Chad's was a very busy place and it had people waiting to get seated, and that is always a good sign. Thank you Elise for my Superbowl dinner!

     We returned home and the gin and tonics continued to flow once again very nicely. We sat around the the dining room table and chatted until around 9:00pm and we called it a night. It was a very, very good evening with Sheila.

     I checked on Chris after Rosemary finished her shift and it was lights out for Chris and I hit the sheets as well. We are going to go out for breakfast this morning at the "Hungry Fox" for it's famous double yolked eggs.

    We enjoyed Papa John's birthday party very much and it was a very nice crowd there. It is always a pleasure to spend time with Jane and John. The food and snacks were very good and very plentiful. The libations were good and a vast variety was present. Thank you Jane and Papa John for the invite.

     Well, I had better get myself together and get ready for breakfast. Have a wonderful Sunday and stay safe.

      After Rosemary arrives this evening will be playing Wizard with Bobby and Marv. We will see if Elise will have to pass the Wizard hat tonight since she is the present Wizard Master.
