Morning Again!
Well, I have Chris all settled and ready for John. Elise has just returned from the gym. The day is moving forward very well so far. Smile! Here is a little bit about our Christmas in Bisbee, Arizona.
On Christmas Eve, Elise left Tucson at around 7:30am headed for Bisbee. She left early so she could give Sara a hand on preparing the meal for the evening. They also made homemade cookies as well and bread.
Chris, John and I left Tucson at 12:00pm. It was a very nice drive and Chris enjoyed being in his van. We arrived at around 2:00pm or 2:30pm. We checked into the San Jose Lodge and we got Chris's bed all set up for him.
Then we returned to my sister-in-laws house to take part in the day. Come to find out the Ann (sister-in-law) was not feeling well at all and at times she had to stretch out for awhile.
Susan and Cathy arrived a little later in the evening, and it was good to see them. We listened to Christmas music for awhile that Zack had set up.
Usually I spent most of my time caring for Chris, but not this year because John had that duty. John and I squeezed sauerkraut for the making of sauerkraut bread. It was a first for John to do so. Teresa also gave a hand with the squeezing as well.
After Sara had worked her magic in the kitchen we all sat down and we had a feast. At around 8:00pm John and I called it a night and we took Chris over to the San Jose Lodge and we got in tucked in for the night.
I went to our room and I watched a little TV and then I hit the sheets as well. A little later Elise arrived and she was feeling sick, yes being sick on your birthday is not fun. She had the same thing that Ann has and she spent a lot of time in the bathroom with stomach problems.
The next day Elise was still sick but feeling a bit better, just like Ann was feeling better. Whatever this was would come and go like it had a mind of it's own and it did. John got Chris up and ready and we returned to Ann's home.
Elise, Ann, Sara began to prepare for Christmas dinner and the aroma was wonderful. We sat down to another feast of roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad, bread, desserts of all kinds and of course plenty of vino, smile.
Later we opened gifts and that is always a treat for everyone. After that it was time for us to return to Tucson so we could open our gifts that were under the tree. We were joined by Bobby and the evening ended on a good note except Elise was still feeling sick but better.
Here are a few pics of our Christmas in Bisbee. Enjoy!
I will post more pictures later in the day.
Cheers.....Jessie and Elise

Looks like it was a great Christmas! So glad it came, so glad it's gone. Regular life is exciting enough for me.
