Mia Moglie prepared breakfast for dinner. We enjoyed "French Toast", eggs, sausages and plenty of coffee to wash it all down.

We watched "Joe Pickett", Game Warden. It is a pretty good series. Chris watched it with us.

I am caring for Chris tonight. He is resting and watching TV. He is downing his supplemental drip as well... I will give him some applesauce for dessert.

I will try to prep a new rock tomorrow for painting. My playmate may be starting a new one soon too.

I will post more about our staycation tomorrow. Get a good night's sleep so you can be ready for Taco Tuesday.

My girlfriend paid us a visit this afternoon. It is always a pleasure to spend time with my girlfriends.

I took Sorella Jayne to her doctor's appointment this morning and I took her back home.

Chris and Elise received a massage from Rosemarie. It is always a pleasure to see her here with Chris.

Here is a bit about our staycation in Maricopa, Arizona at AK-Chin Casino and Resort. Of course, we are players at this casino. Our two-night stay was a perk of being players. Our room was very nice. This trip was we relaxed and played slots.

The slots were good to us on the first night. We ordered burgers and fries for dinner, and we took them to our room. The meal was a perk as well.

Here is what our Keno Slot tickets looked like on the first night. Cha Ching! I am sure that my (fidanzata) heard them ring out.

While we were waiting for our dinner to be prepared my name was called out over the intercom. I had five minutes to report to the Events Center. I had our drinks on the table waiting on the food. Elise left to find a bathroom and I was going to just leave the drinks on the table and head for the Event Center, but Elise heard my name being called and she put the bathroom on hold, and she headed back to where I was. I took off to the Event Center with my Players Club ID and my ID. I got here and I presented the ID's. My Players ID was scanned, and they put $1000.00 dollars in Free Play on my card. Now that put a huge smile on my face, and I hurried back to tell Elise the good news, and she got a smile on her face as well. We took our food to our room, and we decided to use some of the Free Play the next day. We enjoyed our dinner, and we called it game over. A very good night at the casino. Wouldn't you agree?

Buon Lunedi!  How are you? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Donut Shop Regular Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is 49 degrees and cloudy here in Tucson.

Jackie will be here this morning to car for Chris. Alexa is awake and she reminded me that I will be taking Sorella Jayne to her doctor's appointment this morning. I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today. Rosemarie will be here today to give Chris and Elise a massage.

Yesterday was filled with the NFL. Both of our teams won. Go Chiefs. 

Our Chef's Day was delicious. We enjoyed Fettucine ala Ragu, with French Bread. My Sous Chef Prepared Vodka and Freshly squeezed Grapefruit Juice to accompany the meal. A very good choice.  We shared the meal with Sorella Jayne. We were so engrossed in football I forgot to take the plated dished.

Buon Domenica!  How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Donut Shop Blend, with a splash of Milky Way. It is a nice, cloudy morning here in Tucson. We got rained on during the night and it is always needed here in the desert.

Mia Moglie is caring for Chris today. Alexa is awake and she said that I need to make my way out to the airbase this morning after breakfast. I asked her to play some music to cook by. Yes, today is Chefs Day. 

My Sous Chef and I will be once again tossing around pots and pans in the (cucina) again. We will be dining on Spaghetti ala Ragu. My Sous will select the proper libation to accompany the meal.

We will be glued to the TV this afternoon. We will be watching our Chiefs play the Bills. Go Chiefs!

I am still reviewing the photos from our staycation in Maricopa, Arizona. I will post about our stay as soon as I can.

My playmate and I enjoyed our dinner at the "Kingfisher" last night. We were joined by Edwina. My girlfriend Shoo Shoo was going to join us but she was under the weather. 

Our dinner was very good, and the "Kingfisher" was packed. Edwina enjoyed her Shrimp Cakes, Mia Moglie enjoyed her Hawaiian Fish, and I loved my rack of Baby Backs. The Baby Backs would have the approval of Sharon Kha. We downed a nice (Lodi) named "Two Shepards". 

During dinner Edwina said that she knows we have to get-away every now and then, but she doesn't like it. Her reasoning was that when we are gone, she misses the blog. She starts her day with it, and she knows what we are doing. That really pulled at my heart strings, and I felt really good. I have heard this from many of my blog followers in the past, but to have her to tell me face to face was very special. She also said that she loved me as well. Oh my!  I thanked her dearly.

After dinner Mia Moglie and I made our way to the "Berger" to see the live play presented by "Invisible Theater" a play titled "Shirley Chisholm Unbossed and Unbowed". Starring Ingrid Griffith. 

This play was excellent, and it hit home for me in many ways. It reminded me of my upbringing in 
Detroit with the strong values of my parents. Shirley Chisholm was a remarkable woman way ahead of her time.

With statements like "The people in power only care about themselves and they will do whatever it takes to keep that power". Or "Don't go along just to get along". And my favorite is "When they won't give you a seat, bring a folding chair". This was a powerful play about a child of immigrants who stood by their strong convictions. The standing ovation that she received was well deserved. I left the theater with a greater since of pride. My girlfriend Shoo Shoo and Edwina would have enjoyed this one.

My shorty and I will be enjoying a good breakfast at the "Egg Connection" in a bit.

I am caring for Chris today up until 5:00pm when Sorella Jayne arrives. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a lot of tasks to complete today to include a trip out to the airbase. I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today.

We are back from a very restful staycation in Maricopa, Arizona. The Cha Chings were very good for us. I will post more about our (vacanza) as soon as I can get caught up with things around here.

My shorty and I will be meeting up with my girlfriend Shoo Shoo and Edwina for dinner a "Kingfisher". After dinner we will make our way over to the "Berger Center to see the live play "Unbossed and Unbowed" about Shirley Chisolm. It is going to be a good one for sure.

We will have our cellphones and tablets with us so we can stay in contact.

How was your day? It has been a busy one for me and Mia Moglie, but we got through it.

I got all of my errands done, except I didn't get the Donna Verde gassed up. I will get it done after we have a good breakfast at "Gus Balons" in the morning.

I will be taking Sorella Jayne to her doctor's appointment in the morning as well.  As soon as her appointment is over, we will head for Maricopa, Arizona.

My playmate prepared breakfast for dinner. We had homemade blueberry pancakes, sausages, eggs and plenty of coffee to get it all down. We watched the "Lioness" with Chris.

I picked up an amp for my Electric Blues Cigar Box Guitar. It is so cool. I am waiting on the Digital Tuner to arrive on Friday.

I am caring for Chris tonight. He is watching TV and downing his supplemental drip. I will give him some applesauce for dessert.

My shorty and I will be looking forward to this weekend football games. All of my picks to win in yesterday's games lost and they lost badly. I hope that the "Chiefs and the Lions" do well.

My playmate and I are really looking forward to our staycation that starts tomorrow afternoon. A few Cha Chings would be fantastic, smile!

Did your day go well? I had a pretty good day for a Lunedi, smile!

I took the lights out of the tree in the front yard today and I pulled out three monster mushrooms on the southside of the main house. Tomorrow I will clean out the cactus garden.

Today has been a football game day. My Steelers lost and now I am for the Eagles.

I got a hangry attack this afternoon. So, my playmate picked up a bag of chicken nuggets. I tossed them in the air fryer, and they were good.

I prepared grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner. Elise had avocado with hers.

Jackie will be here this morning to care for Chris. Rosemarie will be here today to give Chris a massage. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some "Funk Jazz" for me today.

I will be prepping a rock today for painting. I am sure that my shorty will prep one also.

We will be discussing what to pack for our upcoming staycation in Maricopa, Arizona at Harrah's.

We saw the movie "The Book of Clarence" at the "Roadhouse Cinema". It was very good and quite a parody on religion with a lot of humor added. 

"The Book of Clarence" offers a skeptical, comedic take on biblical story of the lead-up to Jesus' crucifixion through the eyes of fictional Clarence. It has a modern-day twist to it that was refreshing.

Hey, how about those Detroit Lions? My homies pulled off a great game indeed. Go Lions!
