     TGIF! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Chris had a flood in his room this morning due to his catheter was not attached at all. What a way to start the day, eh? Any plans for today?

      The coffee is good and hot and my orange,banana and whey smoothie is in the fridge waiting on me. I have no plans for today except to take it slow and easy. Didn't sleep well at all last night due to being so sore and my back is still hurting. I could not find the right position to fall asleep in.

       Elise will be back home this evening and it will b good to see her. I have missed her a lot. I am going to load up the Tacoma with all of the boxes from the bed and I will take them to the dumpster.

      It is a hot one all ready here in the Old Pueblo. How is the weather in your neck of the woods? I just put out the flag out front for Flag Day. Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great day.

      Tomorrow we will be meeting up with Jim, Loraine and Bobby. We will go out for dinner and then we will be playing "Wizard" here at our house. Loraine and I are still taunting each other about who the "Wizard Master is going to be. She is good but not as good as I am,(What!).

How is your evening going? It is still burning up here in Tucson. I tried to get a nap in this afternoon,, but not much luck. The phone kept ringing, dogs barking, so I only got a very short eye close session.

I am going to fix myself something to eat and watch a little TV. I will hit the sheets as soon as Rosemary's shift is over. I hope that I sleep soundly tonight.

Good Afternoon!

How are things going for you so far? It is a real scorcher out today. I have heard from Elise many times today and it is good to know that she has not forgotten me, smile.

I have been presented with an issue that I don't care to much for and I will need to talk with Elise about it when she returns home.

I am going to try to take a short nap if I can. My back is really hurting from all of the lifting and bending I did putting the new bed together. The bed is nice and it was worth the temporary pain. Whomever stays in "Do Drop Inn" room #2 is in for a treat.

     It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. The coffee is good and I need it this morning. I will hook up my banana and whey smoothie shortly. Any plans for today?

     I got to bed very late last night at midnight! I was working putting the new bed together in "Do Drop In" room #2. I have been working on it since 2:00pm yesterday. It is rough in-between working on it and caring for Chris. I was exhausted when I finally hit the sheets last night.

     I heard from Elise several times during the day and  evening. She and Bobby are having a a nice time visiting with Elaine in the Phoenix area. I am sure that a Mahjonng fest is going on. I worked so much yesterday that I didn't eat anything until around 11:00pm, not a smart move on my part, smile!

     Elise and Bobby will be back tomorrow evening sometime. Angelica will be here this morning and Pam will be here to give Chris a massage. Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris. I will complete putting the bed together this morning. I may take a short nap in it to christen it so to speck.

     Well, I had better get busy. Have a great day. Yes, I am behaving myself and I have to tell you it is not a lot of fun, smile!

It's A Hump Day!

   It's a Hump Day! How are you? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and about soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and hot. No smoothie for me this morning, yes you are reading this right. I am going to breakfast this morning with Elise and Bobby. We are going to "Gus Balones". I will be saying pork chops please! I haven't had one in a very long time.

    I will be a bachelor until Friday evening. Elise will be going to visit Elaine in the Phoenix area. Bobby is going along with her so he can meet Elaine. It should be a Mahjongg fest going on there.

    So I will be here looking for trouble. I have gotten many warnings from my dear friends telling me to behave while Elise is away. I have given it some thought and I will control the raging party animal that lurks within. I will be like the "Hulk", you don't want to see my other side. So don't tempt me so I can keep the party animal at bay, but if you do be prepared to feel my wrath, smile!

   I have a few chores that need to be done and I need to go to the DDC to pick up our perks. I will pick the perks up when one of the caregivers is on shift.

   Well, I had better get busy and get ready for breakfast. Keep in mind that Elise and I are always together so I may need a sponser to keep me on the right track, smile!

     It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:30am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will up soon caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

     The coffee is good and hot this morning. No smoothie today, I will miss it for sure. Rosemary will be here this morning to care for Chris while we are away in Vegas.

      We will be heading for the airport shortly. Have a great day and we will chat at you when we return. We will have our  phones with us and our tablet to check our email.

It's The Weekend!

     It's the Weekend! (In Vino Veritas). How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. I tossed and turned for some reason last night. Elise is not in her cave this morning, so she will be up soon making her way to the pool. Any plans for today?

     The coffee is working this morning and my banana, peach and whey smoothie looks so good. John will be here this morning to care for Chris.

     We will pack our suitcases today and get ready to fly to Las Vegas in the morning. We will be staying at the Palms this time, a first for us. We will be going to see Bill Maher while we are there.

      I have a couple of errands to take care of this morning and I will get those done while John is here. Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris.

      Well, I had better get to it. Have a good day and enjoy the weekend.

Well, the day is just about over. How was yours? Elise and I just got back from having dinner at "Cody's Beef and Bean". We both had the T-bone special and it is was very good. Of course we shared a carafe of room temperature Burgundy.

At 1:00pm  we played a spirited game of Mahjongg. Elise, Bobby and I were going at it. I came out the victor with 2 wins, Elise zero and Bobby zero. I was hoping for a third win so I could match Dena's record of yesterday, but no luck. The third game was a bust nobody won. It was a lot of fun!

After we returned from "Cody's we watched "House of Cards" and "Assumed" on Netflix. They both are really good.

We still have not packed yet for our trip to Vegas. Our suitcases are out and waiting to be filled. We will get it done tomorrow for sure.

    TGIF! How are you? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but I bet she will be up and out this morning. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is very good made from freshly ground beans this morning. My orange and whey smoothie is extra thick this morning.

    We have not talked about what we are packing for Las Vegas yet. We leave on Sunday. Cha Ching!!!!!
Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris.

     We are going to have dinner at "Cody's Beef and Bean". Can you say "T-bone" we will for sure. We will have a carafe of room temperature Burgundy as well.I can taste it now. Smile!

     We are going to play a few more rounds of "Mahjongg" with Bobby today to make sure Elise and Bobby have the skills to tackle Elaine next week.

Well, it has been a busy day here in Tucson. How was yours? It was a hot one too! Man was it scorching today!

Elise and Chris got massages from Donna this morning and I am sure that Chris will sleep well tonight.

I visited with Bobby for a short time this morning to help him on his computer. We got one thing taken care of but we still have a few things to work on.

Elise and I visited Tangye at UMC this afternoon. She was sound asleep. Her husband Dave was there and he filled us in on her condition.

After we left UMC we went to El Con Mall to see the the movie "Now You See Me" it was very good. After the movie we returned home. Elise started to set up for Mahjongg. Bobby and Dena arrived to play. Elise set out a nice snack presentation that included "Foie Gras" that we bought in France when we were there. It is so good. Elise also prepared some wine spritzers that were really refreshing.

Well the game was going on very well. We also nibbled on some (Titties), candy from California. Dena won 3 games to our none. Can you believe that? We taught Dena how to play the game.

It was a lot of fun though. After the game was over we said our good-byes for the evening. Elise cleaned up the kitchen area and I put things back the way they were before the game. What fun!

I went over to check on Chris after Rosemary finished her shift. Elise has hit the sheets to read and to call it a day. We hope that your day was a good one?

     It's a Thirsty Thursday. How are things? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and heading for the gym very soon. Any plans for today?

      The coffee is hot and my banana, blueberry and  whey smoothie is in the fridge. It is a nice 70 degrees right now but it is going to heat up quickly.

      Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. Donna will be here later to give Chris and Elise a massage.

     Elise and I are going to go to the movies this afternoon and we are going to visit our daughter Tangye at UMC.

     We are hosting a Mahjongg game here this evening. It will be Dena, Bobby, Elise and I. It should be a fun evening.

    We are looking forward to our trip to Las Vegas this Sunday. We will be there with our good friend Sheila from Douglas. It should be a lot of fun, and whatever happens in Vegas will stay in Vegas, smile!
