It's The Weekend!

Good Morning!

It's the Weekend! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is not in her cave this morning and she will be up soon heading for the pool. She has not been able to swim for the last two weeks and now she is happy to be doing one of her favorite pastimes. Any plans for today?

John will be here this morning to care for Chris and Rosie will be here this evening. It is a sunny day here in the Old Pueblo and I hope that we get some rain today.

Elise and I had a great dinner at the Arizona Inn, yes we did. We started off with a glass of red that was very good. We loved the bread and the Chef's treat of a mango soup with Gran Marnier in it with a salsa topping. It was fantastic.

We had a ginger salad, Ahi tuna tostada, and a duck wrap for the appetizer. For the entree we had Kobe beef steak that just melts in your mouth. We also had scallops over risotto, wasabi mashed potatoes, snow peas, and a grilled mango topped with pears.

For dessert we had creame brulette, cappacino ice cream, and three dessert items shaped like sushi rolls. We were stuffed and did not know how we were going to get out of our seats. It was an excellent dinner.

After all of that we wobbled through the Inn until we got to were the show was going to be. We sat at table number 2 right up in front of the stage. Great seats! Susie from the Invisible Theater got up and introduced Mr. Steve Ross. He played the piano and song many tunes from Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire era. He was very good and his humor was delightful. We enjoyed a glass of red while he was performing. It was a real treat.

Well, I had better get busy or take a short nap. Have a good weekend and be careful out there. The pics are of the lobby at the
AZ Inn, a jewelry display case and the dessert we had.

Later...Jessie and Elise

Tiger, Marcie, Jet have a good day.

Loraine, to bad you did not get to streak around in the rain as of yet, smile!

Jane and John, have a good one.

Shirlene, how are you today?
