Another Monday has come to a close, and it has not been bad at all. Except that we were notified that a friend of ours had a stroke and it has hindered her speech. I recall Mum saying "Getting Old Is Not For Sissies" and she was not kidding.
Elise prepared a very good dinner this evening. We has corn on the cob, cottage cheese, tomatoes, baked beans and potato salad. We washed it all down with beer (root beer). We watched an episode of "Marpal" and after that we watched a few episodes of " The Family Guy" Chris loves it.
Elise is checking her email and I am caring for Chris. It is 100 degrees still and no rain is in sight. I checked the weather forecast for Elise's stay in New Orleans and it is going to have a a 50% chance of drain everyday that she is there. I hope that she brings some back with her.
Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good night and a better tomorrow.
