Buon Sete Giovedi! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Elise is at the entrance to her cave this morning so she will be up and about soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Butter Toffee Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at "Gus Balones" along with a good breakfast. It is a nice morning here in Tucson. We got a bit of rain overnight and it feels good.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some more (Boney) for me today.

My playmate and I will start new rocks today.  We will be stopping by the Cortez location this morning to drop off and pick up. Here is our latest creations. Enjoy!

29 SEPT ELISE'S LATEST

Well last nights "Rumikube Fest" was a lot of fun. We dined on "El Guero Canelo" Sonoran Hot Dogs and Beans. It was good and very filling. We enjoyed a nice bottle of red with our meal. For dessert my playmate broke out some Cherry Amaretto Ice Cream with cookies.

As for the game my girlfriend Shoo Shoo was the big wiener  and Elise and I won a game apiece. A great evening is always had when I can spend it with one of my girlfriends. WooHoo! Here is a picture of the evenings set-up.

We are going to be visited by the Solar tech this morning to check on the Solar system and he is going to show us how to monitor the system on our phones.

This afternoon we will hit up the movies to see "The Eyes of Tammy Faye". It should be a good one and the previews looked good.

Well I had better get this Thirsty Thursday moving along. We will dining on Leo's for dinner. Of course we will have a margarita or two. Ya Mon". Stay safe and I will talk to you later.

Buon Mercoledi!  Hump Day!  How are you?  I started the day off at 5:25am caring for Chris. Elise is at the entrance to her cave this morning so she will be making a appearance soon to start the day. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Peruvian Blend and a second cup will be downed later this morning. Another nice morning here in Tucson. Good log cutting weather indeed.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few tasks to take care of today. To include setting up the "RumiKube" table for this evenings "RumiKube Fest". My girlfriend Shoo Shoo is shaking her cowgirl boots because she knows that she is in for defeat tonight.

My shorty and I are working on new rocks. I will finish up the one that I am working on today.  Tomorrow we will make a trip over to the Cortez location to drop off and pick up.

28 SEPT GIFT FROM SHARON AND TIM FROM SAN DIEGO!

Was your day a good one? It has been a different kind of day for me. I thought that I would be able to get a nap in but no luck.

The new caregiver worked with Chris this morning and I thought that she had it done pat, but I was wrong. She came over for me to see if she had Chris in the Hoyer correctly and she did this time. She started to get Chris into his chair but the bed was not low enough so he was dragging against the mattress. I got that corrected. She didn't have to Hoyer legs open for balance and they must be that way before lifting is attempted. We got that corrected and Chris was off of the bed and in the air. She closed the Hoyer legs and moved him toward his chair. The chair started to move as she approached because she didn't have the chair brakes on and they must be. I put the brakes on the chair and she lowered him into the chair. Next she didn't have him centered in the chair and he has to be. I corrected that as well. Next she didn't his shorts pulled up enough so I corrected that. For someone who has been a caregiver for 26 years you don't for get put the brakes on medical equipment. When she returns next Monday I will not be around to assist her. Once again I am stuck here and I cannot do what I need for myself and that defeats the purpose. Very frustrating for me!

My playmate prepared breakfast for dinner. We enjoyed homemade waffles, link sausages and eggs. We got it all down with plenty of coffee. We watched "Offspring" on Netflix with Chris.

We are still working on new rocks. Tomorrow we will hosting a "Rumikube" game here. My girlfriend Shoo Shoo will be here to get spanked, smile!

We will be dining on Sonoran Hot Dogs for dinner along with a choice libation.

Well, I had better check on Chris. Have a good night's sleep so you can be ready for "Hump Day".

Buon Martedi! Taco Tuesday! How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:20am caring for Chris. We started Chris's care by doing a complete linen exchange due to his catheter was totally off. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Peruvian Blend and as second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a nice morning here in Tucson. The sleeping weather is great.

The new caregiver will be here this morning to care for Chris. She is holding her own. She is still having problems with using the Hoyer lift, understanding Chris's wheelchair, Texas catheter replacement, and she can only shave Chris with a electric razor. For someone with 26 years of experience it is a puzzlement to me. So I have to be around all of the time to correct the shortcomings.  It is very stressful for me.

Alexa is awake and she reminded me that Chris the IRobot will coming out of his cradle this morning to clean the main house carpet. I asked her to play some (Boney) for me today.

Buon Lunedi!  How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:20am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The new caregiver will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few tasks to take care of this morning. I asked her to play some "Inspirational Music for me today.

Chris and Elise will be receiving a massage today from Rosemarie. Chris is really looking forward to it like always.

Yesterday was a beautiful day of reflection and remembrance.  Elise and I attended the Memorial Service for "Jane Elizabeth Gibbs Neve". It was a beautiful service and it was attended by her family and friends. She is missed by all who knew her and she remains in our thoughts and hearts forever. 

We the members of the "Ain't Misbehavin Players" will miss her wit, and her smile deeply.  For me I will miss her because she was my and still is my (Sweet Pea) and I will always be her (Shit-head). I will leave this morning's blog posting right here with the memory of my dear friend.

Buon Domenica!  How are you? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Paul Newman Organic Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at the "Egg Connection" along with a good breakfast.

Sister Jayne will be here at 1:00pm today to care for Chris. Hey, Sister Jayne's mum is here visiting her again. Alexa is awake and she said that I have my usual Domenica tasks to take care of today. I asked her to play some "Fusion Jazz" for me today. We got some rain last night and we are being rained on right now. It is a very nice morning here in Central Tucson.

At around 2:00pm we will be attending a Memorial Service for (Jane Neve). It is going to be a solemn moment and it will bring back many, many memories of her life with us.

We enjoyed a wonderful evening last night with Paula and Marty. The pizza-fest was exceptional. We gorged ourselves on many different types and styles of pizza. Marty treated us to the opening of a bottle of vino that we got for him as a gift. It was delicious. Paula prepared a very nice salad to go along with the pizza. She also treated us to a very good dessert as well. The topper of the evening was the presentation of a bottle of "Sambuca" by my girlfriend Shoo Shoo. We added a few whole coffee beans to our shot glasses  and down they went. "Sambuca" is a after dinner digestive in Italy and if you drink too much of it, it will sneak up on you very quickly. Thank you Paula and Marty for a fantastic evening. The downside to the evening was that we didn't take any photos like we has planned. My playmate and I totally spaced it.. We are blaming it on the "Sambuca" and that is our excuse and we are sticking to it. Smile!

24 SEPT MY LATEST

We enjoyed a wonderful evening with my girlfriend (Shoo) and Edwina last night. We dined at the "Blue Willow" and the food was very good and the menu has changed a bit. Of course we shared a good bottle of vino rosso. My girlfriend enjoyed a veggie type salad with (tofu), Elise enjoyed a nice (Quiche), I downed a traditional Schnitzel with red cabbage, and German potato salad and Edwina enjoyed a Chicken Salad topped with Avocado. We all were stuffed!

After dinner we made our way over to the "Invisible Theater" to see the play "Looped". It was about the actress Tallulah Bankhead. This play was very well done and the acting was superb. It got a well deserved standing ovation.

This evening we are invited over to Paula and Marty's (casa) in downtown Tucson. We are going to have a "Pizza Fest". We are looking forward to it.  We will also be joined by my girlfriend (Shoo). Am I a lucky dude to be able to see one of my girlfriends two evenings in a row?  Ya Mon'. We are sure that plenty of libations will be available for this gathering. WooHoo!

We enjoyed a very nice dinner last night at "Poco and Moms" with Ron and Nancy.  The food was very good and so were the margaritas. We got caught up with the latest happenings with them. We are looking forward to our next get together.

My playmate and I will be hitting up the "Roadhouse Cinema" this afternoon to see the movie "Respect".

Sister Jayne is here caring for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a lot of things to take care of today. First off I had to take the "Green Lady" for a emission test and she passed that. Next I need to renew her registration.

My playmate and I will be meeting up with Ron and Nancy at "Poco and Moms" for dinner this evening. I bet we will be saying margarita.

How are you doing on this Taco Tuesday evening?  We are good here but it has been a very busy day for us.

We have many tasks to complete today and some of them will be carried over for tomorrow.  The Solar inspection passed, the Water Tech filters were changed. The next step is for TEP to come out and install the Solar meter and fire it up. The new caregiver is giving it her best and that is good. She still had a few issues today but I was here to assist her.

My playmate just returned from "Bistro 44" with my dinner. I enjoyed "Cordon Bleu" with mashed potatoes and a ton of broccoli. I got it down with a ice cold Corona birra. I have to tell you that the ton of broccoli will be enjoyed by Azalya, smile!

We are working on new rocks. My playmate is in the main house watching the news. Hopefully I will be hitting the sheets early tonight. I didn't sleep well last night due to some severe elbow pain. My shorty picked up a compression sleeve for me today to help with the pain.

Well our vacay in San Diego was very, very nice and so relaxing for both of us. I am sure that we overate big time. The weather was perfect. I am not going to go into detail this time. I am going to let the photos do all of the talking. Enjoy!
