Buon Mercoledi!  Hump Day!  How are you doing? I am OK but I have been way better. I am a bit unhappy at the present time but no worries I will recover soon.

Here is a bit about our stay-cation in Chandler, Mesa and Phoenix. Enjoy the pics. We had a good time and we got plenty of rest was the main thing . The slots were not kind to us on this visit. Smile!

We enjoyed our stay-cation and we got to see a lot of movies and we ate well. Looking forward to our next trip. It will be to San Deigo.

Buon Lunedi! How are you? I started the day off at 5:20am caring for Chris. I was going to start my day at 6:00am, but Alexa told me to get up and get this day started. Elise is in her cave but she will be putting feet to the floor to start her day soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Southern Pecan Blend and a second cup will be downed later this morning. It is a sticky morning here in Tucson,  hopefully we will get a bit more rain today.

Alexa told me that today is going to be a true Monday and that I need to get my (DI) hat out and keep it close. I have many tasks to complete today she said. I will post about our stay-cation as soon as I can.

The caregiver is suppose to  return this morning to care for Chris. Today may be a (firing) day. Chris and Elise will be receiving a massage from Rosemarie today. I have so much to do today that I will not be around the house much this morning.

How did your day end? It has been another very busy one for me. I cared for Chris again today. Nothing from the agency as of yet.

I am dragging but I will get some much needed rest at Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino. 

Today we celebrated Chris's birthday today. Tomorrow is his birthday and our daughter Tangye called me on that. Chris opened his gifts and cards today and he enjoyed it.  His Granny Banany called and she sung Happy Birthday to him and he loved it. I gave  him a treat today. I gave him a bit of my Peach Bellini and it was cold and he doesn't like cold. As soon as it warmed in his mouth he swallowed and he loved it.

My playmate prepared French Toast for dinner with eggs and sausages. My appetite was not good tonight. We watched "Offspring" on Netflix with Chris and it is a good series.

Elise is all packed and I will pack tonight. Here is my latest rock creation. Enjoy!

The day will be over shortly and I will be glad. Things are not going well at all with caregivers and sub-par agencies. I have been in Healthcare since February 1992 and I have never seen it this bad. This caregiver shortage is all over and just not here.

I was taught to work smarter not harder and I have lived by that all of these years. Now I am working harder than I have ever before. The work ethic has dwindled to it's lowest level in this country. 

I made a promise to care for Chris and Elise and I will stand by that as long as I live. The problem is who is looking after and taking care of me. When I was hired by Pima Health Systems I was told that I was over qualified but I decide to stick it out and it has been a blessing for. I am still to this day in contact with the case manager that hired me. 

I usually don't do what I don't want to. I am having a very hard time giving in to something that I feel is not right for me. This is supposed to be the best time of my life and I don't feel that way at all.  

Nuff said! I needed to vent and you my blog followers are here. Along with my family, sisters, friends and girlfriends.

I want to thank everyone who said prayers for my dear friends Ross and Denise and their family who live in Sydney. The Covid tests came back negative for them.

I am really looking forward to this stay-cation because I not only need the rest but I need the time to think and make some decisions. Not to worry I am good, strong and determined. Have a good nights sleep and I will chat at you on Taco Tuesday.

How are you doing? Today is a true Monday. Yep, you guessed it the caregiver was a no show again. I called the agency that he works for to report that he was late again. They said that they would call me right back and that was a hour and a half ago.

I have taken off my (DI) hat and now I am caring for Chris. Chris will be receiving a massage in a bit from Rosemarie. I have to get back to caring for him before she arrives. I will chat at you later.

Buon Lunedi!  How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is awake and up as well to start her day. Any plans for today?

The new caregiver will be here this morning to care for Chris. So that means I am stuck at home today and tomorrow. I have donned my (DI) and I will be wearing it for the next two days. You don't want to be here when I have it on, believe that. Our daughter Tangye  knows when the (DI) hat comes out that things are bad!

Alexa is awake and she said that even she is not going to get on my bad side today. She suggested that I listen to some (Boney) today and tomorrow. Great idea Alexa!

My shorty and I will be working on new rocks this afternoon. Here are the rocks we dropped off yesterday at the Cortez location. Enjoy!

8 AUG DROPPED AT CORTEZ

Last night we enjoyed a wonderful evening at my girlfriends (Shoo Shoo's) home. We were joined by Lorrie and Bert. We haven't seen them since the pandemic hit. They are looking good and healthy. Our host (Shoo) went all out for us. Our dinner was excellent and the dessert that followed was oh yeah so good. My playmate got out the secret weapon and it turned into a (party.) It was good to see (Shoo) relax and let the secret weapon do it's stuff and it did. As a matter of fact the secret weapon got a hold of Lorrie as well. (Shoo Shoo) is one of my girlfriends that you cannot help but adore. Thank you so much (Shoo) for a good time.

Well I had better get this Lunedi moving along. Have a good one and stay safe, happy and sound. Mask Up. We will be getting our suitcases out for our upcoming stay-cation today.

Buon Domenica!  How are you?  I started the day off at 5:15am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for  Elise. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be over soon to care for Chris.

The coffee is a  Green Mountain Breakfast Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at the "Egg Connection" along with a good breakfast. It is a nice morning here in Tucson but is is going to heat up quickly. I ask again where is the rain?

Sister Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have my usual tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some "Inspirational " music for me today.

My playmate and I are working on new rocks. We will be dropping off at the Cortez location this morning and picking up as well. Here is my latest!

We enjoyed a good dinner last night at the "Golden Corral". We haven't been to the Corral in many moons. The one here is very "Covid" aware. You must were a mask when you are not eating and you must wear gloves when you are at the buffet. The food was very good and plentiful. I am sure that we will return in the near future.

We will be dining at my girlfriend (Shoo Shoo's) home this evening along with another couple. It will be good to see everyone again. We will be taking along our secret weapon along with us for Shoo! Ya Mon'.

If you could please say a prayer for our longtime friend Ross and his family. They live in Sydney Australia. He informed me that Sydney and some of its surrounding areas is on Total Lockdown due to Covid. He and his family had the injections. Ross came in contact with  infected person and he has to be tested for Covid. Hopefully he will not be infected. Thanks!

Well we are looking forward to our stay-cation in Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa next week. My shorty has already started on a packing list. We will stay at the Wild Horse Pass Resort and Casino.

Buon Sabato!  How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will pop up soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a Paul Newman Organic Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a nice morning here in Tucson, but we didn't get any rain during the night. Maybe today will be different.

I am caring for Chris today up until 5:00pm when Sister Jayne arrives. Alexa is awake and she said that I have to make a trip over on the eastside this eastside this morning. I asked her to play some "Fusion Jazz" for me today.

My shorty and I are working on new rocks. I will post them as soon as they are complete. Sister Jayne has built a house in Kenya and here is a picture of the huge water tank that she purchased and installed. Wow!

My playmate and I played "Wii" games yesterday and we did terrible, but we will continue to play. We are not decided on what to have for dinner tonight, go out or take-away. I will post later about our selection.

Buon Venerdi!  TGIF!  How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and on the so soon to start her day . Any plans for today?

The coffee is a s good Caribou Blend and a second cup will be downed later this morning. It is a nice morning here in Tucson but we are going to heat up quickly. We have a 20% chance of rain today so that means no rain at all.

I am caring for Chris this morning. Sister Jayne will be here at 11:00am to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few tasks complete today. I will taking Sister Jayne to pick up her meds this morning. I asked Alexa to play some "Down Home Blues" for me today.

We went to the movies yesterday to see "Jungle Cruise" and it was very good and funny. The stunts and special effects were fantastic. We recommend this one.

My shorty and I will be playing "Wii Games" this afternoon. Hopefully we can raise our skill levels because they have fallen off lately. Not good at all!

Buon Giovedi! Sete Giovedi! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise popped up with me this morning to start her say as well. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Donut Shop Regular Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at "Gus Balones" along with a good breakfast. It is another nice morning here in Tucson and it is going to heat up quickly.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that today is going to be very busy. After breakfast my shorty and I will hit up Total Wine or the Class 6 store on the airbase. Chris's birthday is coming next week and I will be shopping for a gift or two for him while I am on the airbase.

My playmate and I will hit up a movie this afternoon if time permits. We are still working on new rocks. 

Well Chefs Day was delicious. We prepared Tagliatelle con Ragu, Yeast Rolls and a very good vino (rosso). For dessert we enjoy some Spumoni that was excellent. Even Sister Jayne was stuffed with this meal. Ya Mon'. Have a look!  I want to thank everyone for your comments about my (Big Buns), smile!
