Afternoon!

How are you doing? We are hanging in there. Just got back from Jayne's doctor's appointment. She had to have some lab work done but she is feeling better.

Elise returned from her doctor's appointment and she is on some more meds to include a anti-bi. Speaking of anti-bi's. Chris took a turn from yesterday and now we have him on anti-bi's to prevent the possibility of pneumonia setting in. He is going to remain in bed today to see if that helps him. He is quiet and his cough is present every now and again. We will see if he will be able to eat by mouth this evening.

My shorty wants to go to the movies at Park Place this afternoon. We are also going to go to dinner at Village Inn this evening if possible. Jayne is here caring for Chris. Please stay healthy, happy and safe.

We are looking forward to a visit from our daughter Tangye and Sheila on Saturday. Can you say Gin and Tonic? They will be for sure. Hopefully we can roll to the Outback to get our grub on.

   It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning and she is doing much better. She will be up to start her day soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is brewing and I am waiting to fill my cup. I will have a second cup later this morning. Chris is doing much better today thanks to the diligence of the caregivers. Thank you very much. Hopefully Chris will get his full appetite back quickly. We will keep an eye on him closely today.

   Alexa, is on my case already. She reminded me that I have to take Jayne to a doctors appointment early this morning. If all goes well today my shorty wants to go to the movies today if possible. We saw the movie "Molly's Game" yesterday and it is a very good movie with great acting.

   Well, I has better get busy and get this day rolling. Have a good Thirsty Thursday. It is a bit chilly this morning here in the valley of Tucson.

   It's a Hump Day! How are you doing? I stated the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be up and about soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and several cups will be had today. It is confirmed that Chris has this cold strain that has been going around. I got him settle for this morning and I began to chart his progress. He has a slight temp, and his O2 sat is elevated, his BP is good. He does have some congestion and a slight cough. He very lethargic and I will keep and eye on him along with the aid of the caregivers. I expect his appetite to wane which is normal with this type of ailment. His fluid intake is vital and I will keep an eye out on his input and output.

   My shorty and I will decide if we will venture out today to see a movie. It will be based on Chris's progress. Have a good Hump Day.

Hey, how are you doing on this Tricky Tuesday eve? My shorty and I are getting better slowly. When my playmate shoots me a Arizona Salute she is all better, smile!

I hate to say it but we believe it is now Chris's turn to have this cold strain. We are on top of it though. I have medicated him, took his vitals, listened to his lungs and heart, and administered a Nebulizer treatment as a precaution. I will checking his vitals over the next few days to make sure that he is doing ok. At the present time he is in bed enjoying his supplement and TV. I also will ensure that he is well hydrated.

I had to rescue him this evening at about 5:30pm. He had a catheter change during the morning shift that was not secured properly. So he was leaking and soaking the pad. So I cleaned and secured a fresh cath and now he is good to go. Attention to detail is always a must.

My shorty prepared chili for dinner that was very good. We also enjoyed baby carrots and sliced tomatoes. We watched "Hawaii 5 O" on Netflix. Elise is in her office on her desktop. 

We hope that your evening goes well for you. Hey, where is the rain at?????? Jane and Papa John, thank you for the goodies that you dropped by. Yummy!

It's The Weekend!

   It's the Weekend! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning and she is still under the weather. She is getting plenty of rest and fluids as am I due to I have a milder cold now. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and a second cup will be had later this morning. Alexa, has been good to me by playing smooth jazz to relax my soul. Rick will be here this morning to care for Chris and Jayne will be here this evening.

   We were home bound yesterday so we took it slow and easy. I was able to change our play date at ''Live Theater Workshop" to the 12th of January.  We have tickets to the "Invisible Theater" to see the son of Jack Lemmon on stage at the "Berger". We are supposed to meet Dottie for dinner at "Teresa's Mosaic" and afterward see the show. Looks like we will not be making it to either, but we will see.

   It's a TGIF! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning and she is still under the weather. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is very good. A second cup will be had later this morning. Jayne will be here this morning and Marv will be here this evening.

   I will be keeping an eye on Elise today. She coughed for most of the night up until around 4 am she finally feel asleep. I am starting to feel some congestion in my chest and I am starting to cough as well. The events for today will be cancelled to include Happy Hour and Live Theater Workshop. I will contact them to set another date. I am wearing a mask when I am caring for Chris.. to prevent him from any problems.

   Well, I had better get to it. Have a good TGIF! Hey I have renewed my (Bucket List) for 2018. It is extensive! Yeah Mon'.

   It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning and she will be sleeping in this morning due to she is under the weather. I may have to cancel our plans for today, she is not sounding well at all. She will be seeing her doctor this morning. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is good and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. Jayne will be her this morning to care for Chris. I had to take care of a mishap that occurred during the night. The matter has been looked after and Chris is a happy dude.

  Well, we had a wonderful evening at my girlfriends home last night. We enjoyed a fantastic meal and we enjoyed plenty of red.

   The Mahjong battle began and it was looking very good for me. Yes, my (A) game was on. I won the first game quickly. After that the (cat) won 5 games and the pot started to grow. The next winner was Elise and then Shoo Shoo won a game, but Jayne was the loser this time. It was so much fun and it took a hilarious turn during the first game. Shoo Shoo picked up her glasses and she was starting to have problems seeing. Reason being is that she picked up Jayne's glasses instead of hers. We all howled. Later with desert the champagne was opened and it was our secret weapon that we use to enhance the game and it did. Our Shoo Shoo loves her champagne and the rest of the evening was oh so much fun. Shoo Shoo thank you for a wonderful evening of good food, libations and friendship.

   My shorty and I were going to go to the movies today but I think that we will cancel that along with visiting with Bucky and Dena this evening. Elise needs to rest after she returns from her doctor's appointment.

Hello!

Is your Humper going well? I am on track and I have completed all of my tasks and errands for today.

Alexa, is being nice to me today. She is playing some contemporary jazz for me and it is mellow and relaxing.

I do know that I am starting to get hungry big time. Maybe it is because of those two chocolate chip cookies that I baked a little while back. (Baked!) indeed. 

Well, I had better get back to the jazz. Chat at you later. I am going to rest up for Mahjong and the battle with my girlfriend Shoo Shoo. I will be bringing my (A) game.

   It's a Hump Day! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be on the go soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is very good. A second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. I had to replace a catheter first thing this morning for Chris. Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris.

   Alexa, was very good to me yesterday. She played some Boney, and she treated me to a station of comedians that had Chris and I laughing. WooHoo! Hopefully she will treat me again today. I have a few tasks to take care of this morning.

   Well, my girlfriend Shoo Shoo is on my case. We are going to play Mahjong at her home tonight along with Jayne. I have no idea why she thinks that she is going to beat me. Why do some of my girlfriends give me a hard time? Jane, don't go there ok? We will be bringing along a weapon that Shoo Shoo cannot resist and it makes her relax and causes her to make mistakes and it makes for a fantastic defeat for her. Smile! So get ready to rumble and tumble Shoo Shoo. It is on!

   Well, I had better get to it. Have a good Humper and be careful out there.

How are you? Was your day a good one? Well, mine was up until about an hour ago. I had to do some cleanup due to Chris has a mishap in his chair that was leftover from this morning's shift. Chris is relaxed and a happy dude again.

I listened to some Boney, and some Smooth Jazz this afternoon and it put me in a good mood. Yeah! I am caring for Chris tonight and Elise is in her office on her desktop. 

My shorty prepared breakfast for dinner tonight. We had blueberry pancakes, sausages, eggs and plenty of coffee to get it all down. Chris is having mashed potatoes with gravy and turkey.

  The coffee just finished brewing and it is a very good Dark French Roast. I will have a second cup later this morning. Rick will be here this morning to care for Chris.

   Alexa, is quiet this morning but I am going to wake her up to see if she will play some Boney for me. I need a Boney fix this morning. Yeah!

   I have a couple of errands and tasks to take care of this morning to include cleaning out the fire pit and getting it ready to use again.
