Afternoon!
What's up? We had a very nice breakfast at "Gus Balone's". The food was very good and plentiful. The place was packed and a line had formed waiting to be seated. Yeah!
We just got back from the VA hospital visiting Stu. We were joined by Shoo, Jane, John and their grandson, also another couple that is a longtime friend of Stu's was there too! It was a very good visit and hopefully Stu will be making his way home very soon. GET OUT STU!
My playmate is shopping for groceries as I am posting to the blog. It is a bit breezy out right now. We are going to watch our "Wildcats" play basketball at 2:00pm. Go Cats! Enjoy the rest of your day and be careful.

It's The Weekend!
Good Morning!

It's the Weekend! Sup? How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in here cave this morning so she will be up and on the go soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee just finished brewing and a second cup will be enjoyed shortly. It is a very mild morning here in Tucson and we may hit 80 degrees today. Zack will be here this morning to care for Chris and Jayne will be here this evening.
My shorty and I are going out for breakfast this morning at "Gus Balones". After breakfast we are going out to the VA hospital to visit with Stu.
We enjoyed Happy Hour last night at "La Parrilla Suiza". The food was as good as ever and our margaritas were very good and extra strong thanks to Chuck. We had three each and it is a wonder we are not still there laid out on the floor. Ole'
After HH we went to the "Live Theatre Workshop" to see the play "The Cripple of Inishmaan". This play was excellent and we enjoyed it very, very much. As a matter of fact it was (Fecking ara). We recommend this one as a must see. The place was packed. My favorite character was Johnny Pateen. He was hilarious.
This evening we are meeting up with Dottie at "Dante's Fire" for dinner.. After dinner we are going to the "Berger" to see the play being put on by the "Invisible Theater" titled "Fredrick Douglas In The Shadow Of Slavery". This should be excellent and we are looking forward to it.
As you can see my "To Do List" is jammed packed for today, so I had better get busy. Have a great weekend and stay safe.

Evening!
Evening!
How are you? We just got back from the memorial service for Laura Roth Hogan. It was a standing room only crowd. This was the most touching memorial service that I have been to ever. The speakers to include our own Sheila were fantastic, witty and caring. The tears were flowing throughout the hall to include my playmate Elise's tears. Laura will be missed dearly by many.
My playmate and I are blessed everyday and we are so grateful for many things in our life. We are blessed with family, friends, acquaintances, and so much more. We are totally blessed to have Chris and the many caregivers who care for him deeply. We cannot tell you enough how much we value the care and love that you show and give to Chris. You are a part of our family and you always will be. Thank you all.
I hope that I am not getting mushy? Today's service has affected me deeply and the words that were spoken were golden and should be lived by daily. We are resting up until it is time for us to go to Happy Hour at "La Parrilla Suiza",and to he "Live Theater Workshop".

What is up? Hey, the green lady is all cleaned and shined up. WooHoo! Now I need to get myself together for the funeral service that takes place later in the day. My playmate is at the gym but she will be back shortly to get ready for the service as well.
It is still cloudy and I hope that since I got the Fiat washed it won't rain. Murphy's Law, eh? I am relaxing listening to the sounds of the "Boney James" radio station. It is a good station to relax with and enjoy a nice glass of red, some bread, and some cheese. Of course with you too!
Hopefully if all goes well tomorrow we will go out to the VA Hospital to visit with Stu. Our whole weekend is busy and that is a good thing for the most part. Do you agree? We are glad that Jayne is here with Chris because it allows us to rest and get many things done.

The coffee just finished brewing and it is delicious! I will have a second cup for sure with a pancake for breakfast. It is a mild morning here in Tucson and we are supposed to hit the 80 degree mark today. Is it time for shorts and flip flops?
Another busy day according to my To Do List. First off I will get the Fiat 500L Trekking washed. We are attending a funeral service this afternoon of a long time friend of Elise and Sheila. Later in the evening we are going to Happy Hour at "La Parrilla Suiza". After HH we are going to the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play "The Cripple of Inishmaan", it got very good reviews and we are looking forward to seeing it.
I will post more pictures from our trip to the Bahamas as soon as I can. It is going to be a very busy weekend for my playmate and I. We are going to see a live play at the Berger Center with Dottie and on Saturday we are going to the Tucson Music Hall to see Bill Maher. Yep, a busy weekend for us.

Evening!
What is up? How are you? We just got back from the movies. We saw "Get Out". I have to tell you it was bizarre but it was very good. We enjoyed it a lot. It is not for everyone though.
Elise is now preparing dinner. We are going to have cheese crisps, refried beans, lettuce, jalapeno'salsa and of course plenty of birra. Yes!
We are going to watch something on Netflix while we are eating dinner. I have completed everything on my To Do List except for getting the Fiat 500L Trekking washed. So I just moved it to tomorrow morning. What did you think of me and my pirate? Yep, I had too much rum that day, didn't I? NOT!

I woke hungry as well. Go figure! Elise is meeting up with our financial adviser at Village Inn this morning and she is going to bring back some breakfast for Jayne and I. Smile!
The sun is out and it is slowly warming up. I just made the reservation for "Fleming' Steakhouse" for the 10th of March. It is pay up time for my shorty because I won our "Superbowl" bet. I will be getting out my special fork, knife, spoon and napkin. Yeah Buddy!
We are going to see the movie "Get Out" this afternoon. The previews were very good. It is an updated version if you will of "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?".

I will be putting on the kettle soon. I am in need of a cup or two of coffee to get my (mojo) working. It is a cool morning here in Tucson but it will gradually warm up during the day. We may reach 80 degrees tomorrow.
I just glanced at my To Do List and it is going to be a light day today. WooHoo! My playmate and I may hit up a movie this afternoon. My shorty has more things to do today than I do. Yep, you heard me right.

Good Night!
Good Night!
Well the day is almost over and it has been a very busy one. Jayne has cared for Chris all day and he is a happy camper.
Elise prepared breakfast for dinner and it was very good. We had bacon, eggs and potatoes. We got it all down with a few cocktails. Yeah! We watched "Homeland" on Netflix. Of course more cocktails. Yeah, Yeah!
I am watching TV and updating my To Do List. Yes, tomorrow will be busy again but not as busy as the past few days. Whew! Elise is in her office on her desktop. She will be hitting the pillow soon to end her day.
Have a good evening and sleep well and make tomorrow even better than today.

It's a Hump Day! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in here cave this morning but she will on the move soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee hit the spot this morning. It is a cold morning here in Tucson, and it is supposed to be chilly for the next few days. Jayne will be here this morning to work with Chris due to a unforeseen change in the schedule.
This evening we were going to host a "Mahjong" fest here but Stu is still in hospital. We will schedule another play date for another time. Keep those prayers going for Stu and Shoo Shoo.
My To Do List is still quite lengthy but I will get her done without a doubt. My playmate brought me back a dinner from "Trattoria Pina" that was delicious. I had a nice dinner salad, panni and lasagna. It was all good let me tell you. The portion was so big that I just could not eat it all. Smile!
