     It's the Weekend! Sup? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be putting feet to the floor very soon. Any plans for today?

     The coffee is freshly made and my small salad is in the fridge. No smoothie today due to I am out of milk,smile. Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris and Rosemary will be here this evening.

      Elise and I had a very nice dinner at "Pastiche" last night. The food was excellent! We shared a bottle of red, a Zinfandel to be exact called "Zombie Zin". It was delicious. So good that we bought a bottle to bring home with us.

      After dinner we went to the "Invisible Theater" to see the play titled" Miracle On South Division Street". It is a very good comedy about a devout Catholic family who finds out that they are actually Jewish. This play is loaded with twists, turns, and lots of family drama. We recommend this one.

      Well, it is finally here after months of planning and preparation. We will be attending a Murder Mystery Dinner hosted by Loraine and Jim this evening. It will be the talk of the valley for sure. We will take plenty of photos for this one and hopefully we will get a group shot of all players. WooHoo! (I hope that I am not the murderer again). What's up with that?

      Elise and I are going out on the airbase this morning to look around to see what is new. Well, I had better get to it. Have a great weekend and be careful out there. Oh I forgot to mention that while Elise was hosting her Marathon Bridge Game I decided to put my chef skills to work. I prepared some Mackerel patties that are delicious. It brought back a flood of memories for me. My Mom used to prepare them with rice or mac and cheese. Elise took a bite and she loved them.

     It's a TGIF! How are you? I started the day off at 5:15am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning and I am not sure if she will be hopping out of the sheets anytime soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and I will make a small salad for later in the day. It is a nice 62 degrees here in the Old Pueblo and it is a bit cloudy.

    I will be taking Chris to his doctors appointment at noon today. He will be receiving some injections that he receives several times during the year.

    We had a good day yesterday. Elise and I tackled a game of "Gin Rummy" in the early morning. WooHoo! 

     We also went to the "Loft" to see the movie "Mother of George" this movie is very good and it showed some cultural diversity and habits.

     We also watched the DVD " Behind the Candelabra" starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. An excellent movie about "Liberace". Great acting and this is a must see.

     Elise prepared a wonderful dinner. We had cheese crisps, refried beans, salsa, jalapenos, and tamales. We got it all down with a few beers. Elise must be head over heels for me because she brought out the "Negro Modelo" for me. Wow!

     Later in the evening we listened to our "Wildcats" play basketball. A good day in the desert. Elise has set up for the "Marathon Bridge Game" she is hosting here today.

    Once again the bidders and shufflers have lucked out due to I have to take Chris to his doctors appointment. So no car sales today! Don't think that I am getting soft bidders because you will be taking taxis and public transportation home in the near future. Count on it!

    Elise and I will be going out to dinner this evening at "Pastiche". After dinner we are going to the "Invisible Theater" to see the play "Miracle on South Division Street". It is a comedy and it should be a good one. Marv will be here to care for Chris.

    Tomorrow it the Big Event of the year. It is the Murder Mystery Dinner hosted by Loraine and Jim. We are so ready for this one. I just hope that I am not the murderer,smile! I will be taking photos of this one for sure.

     It's a Thirsty Thursday! What's up? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be up soon on her way to the gym. I went back over to see how she was doing and she was doing her daily exercises. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and hot, my small salad and strawberry smoothie is in the fridge. It is extra, extra thick. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris and Rosemary will be here this evening.

     Elise and Chris will be receiving a massage from Pam later this morning. Elise and are going to El Con Mall this afternoon to see a movie. Later this evening we will watch our "Wildcats" play.

     We had a great time at the "DDC" yesterday. We had a fantastic dinner at the buffet. We pulled many slots but once again they were not very kind to us again. Our favorite slot was as cold as ice in Alaska, smile! I enjoy going to the "DDC" because winning is a plus but it is the time that Elise and I spend together is what I truly enjoy. Of course will be going back to the "DDC" in the near future. We had a few to many Jack and Cokes and it may have impeded our gaming skills, eh? That is my excuse and I am sticking to it!

    Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great Thirsty Thursday and enjoy.

    It's a Hump Day! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning but she is purring away. She will be up and about soon. Any plans for today?

     The coffee is good and I will put together a small salad for later. Well the wind has been blowing constantly and it is still going strong.

     Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. Elise and I are going to go out to the "DDC" to pick up our perks and we will have dinner at the buffet. Can you say "prime rib"? I know I will with plenty of fresh horseradish to clear my sinuses. Love that stuff!

     We will grab a few Jack and Cokes and we will hit the slots for awhile. Wish us luck, eh? It's all about the Benjamin's right? It is all about the Lincolns for us as well because the Lincolns pay for our stay-cations and trips,smile! Cha Ching!

     Well, I had better get to it with Chris. Have a good Humper and enjoy!

How has your day been? Chris and I rested up today and we just relaxed.

It is very windy today and it still is this evening. I hope dust storms don't develop on I-10.

Elise prepared breakfast for dinner this evening. We had homemade waffles, sausages, and  coffee. It was delicious.

We watched 3 episodes of "West Wing" with Chris. Speaking of Chris he is having some problem this evening with swallowing and coughing. We will keep a close eye on him. I am caring for him this evening.

We are looking forward to our trip to the "DDC" tomorrow so we can pick up our perks and have dinner at the buffet. Of course we will have a few Jack and Cokes while we pull on the slots for awhile.

Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a good evening and a better tomorrow.

    The coffee is good this morning. I will prepare a small salad shortly for later this morning. I will also have a orange and vanilla whey smoothie extra thick.

     Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. I have no plans for today as of yet. The temp this morning is 61 degrees and it is very windy out.

     We are getting very excited about the upcoming Murder Mystery Dinner that will take place on Saturday evening. It will be hosted by Loraine and Jim. I sure hope that I am not the murderer again, smile!

How was your day? Things have been peaceful, restful and quiet. 

Elise even took time out for a rousing game of "Gin Rummy" in the middle of the morning. Smile!

Elise prepared soup for dinner that was very good. We watched three episodes of "West Wing" with Chris. It is a very good series.

We are planning on making a trip to the DDC to pick up our perks and to pull a few slots. We will also hit the buffet while we are there. Cha Ching! We will hit it on Wednesday.

I am caring for Chris this evening. Elise is at the Tucson Women's Chorus practice tonight. They have an up coming show next month.

    It's Veterans Day! I want to say to all of my comrades in arms to reflect on what this day means to all who have served. I salute you! Thank you for your service! Old Glory is flying high!

    I started the day off at 4:45am. Elise is in her cave this morning so I don't think that she will be hitting the floor anytime soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and I am going to prepare a small salad for later in the day. It is about 56 degrees here in Tucson and it is supposed to get up in the 80's today.

    I have no plans for today so I will take it slow and easy. Elise and I had a very nice evening last night at "Claim Jumpers" with Jane and Papa John. We were expecting Bobby and Stu but they did not make it.

   We enjoyed our dinner and we played a game called "Cards Against Humanity". It is loads of fun and it can get a little naughty at times, but we like a little naughty, smile! It was introduced to us by one of my girlfriends daughter.

   Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great day.

We are back from having breakfast at "Teresa's Mosaic" and the food was delicious as usual.

We met up with our daughter Kim and it is always good to hear what has been happening her life. She is doing very well.

We introduced "Sheila" to Kim. We talked and and enjoyed ourselves at "Teresa's Mosaic. We said our good-byes to Kim and to Sheila. Sheila is on her way to Gilbert, Arizona for a few days.

It's A Sunday!

   It's a Sunday! What is new? I started the day off at 4:55am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be over to care for Chris soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and no salad or smoothie today. We are going to meet our daughter "Kim" this morning for breakfast at "Teresa's Mosaic". My  girlfriend "Sheila" will be joining us.

        Sheila arrived at 4:00pm yesterday to spend the evening with us. I have it made don't I? My girlfriends can spend the night with me in my home. Smile!

     We had a great evening at the "Outback" for dinner. Elise and I had the Steak and Lobster" and Sheila ordered the Prime Rib. We also enjoyed our "Gin and Tonics" very much.

     After dinner we returned home to watch our "Wildcats" play "UCLA". We are enjoying another "Gin and Tonic".

     Well, the game is progressing but our "Wildcats" are having problems. All of a sudden things started to change but not for the "Wildcats" but for me. My girlfriend "Sheila" was getting on my case about my other girlfriend "Lila". I gulped down my "Gin and Tonic" as I listened. I was wishing for another "Gin and Tonic'. Smile! What else could I do? Elise was enjoying this a little too much I thought. "Sheila" calmed down and I made it through this barely. Thanks goodness for "Gin and Tonic", eh?

     It is now 9:30pm. The game is still going on and our "Wildcats' are losing. "Sheila" decided to hit the sheets and so did Elise. I continued to watch the game until I could not take anymore. I checked on Chris and it was game over for me as well.

    Later this evening we are meeting up with Jane and Papa John, and Stu at Claim Jumper for Happy Hour. It should be a fun evening with good food, drinks and plenty of laughs. 

    Well, I had better get ready for breakfast. Have a great day.

It's The Weekend!

   It's the Weekend! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be putting feet to the floor soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good this morning and I will be whipping up a small salad and a strawberry,banana smoothie as well. It is a nice 53 degrees here in Tucson this morning.

    Well, we had a very nice dinner last night at "Cody's Beef and Bean", not at the "Outback" like I posted yesterday. 

     Elise and I picked up my girlfriend "Lila" for dinner. We had a very nice dinner and some good Burgundy as well. Cody's was packed with people and that is always a good thing. To our surprise my date "Lila' picked up the check. Wow, she is a keeper for sure. Can you feel me?

     After dinner we took "Lila" back home and we said our good-nights. We returned home to watch our "Wildcats" play basketball,and they won of course.

     Today we will visited by one of my other girlfriends named "Sheila" from Douglas, Arizona. She will be staying with us overnight. Yes, I have girlfriends staying overnight. I have it going on,right? Smile!

     It is going to be an evening of talk,laughs and good food. We are going to the "Outback"for dinner. I got it right this time. We are also going to watch our "Wildcats" play football tonight as well. Go Cats!

     Well, I had better get busy. It is going to be a busy but fun day. Have a good one and be careful out there.
