TGIF!

Good Morning!

Mahjong Anyone?

Mood: Content!

Music listening to: Season's Change

It's a TGIF! How are you? I started the day off at 4:55am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning and she is sleeping soundly. Any plans for today?

The coffee is made from freshly ground beans this morning and my small salad is in the fridge. I will have a thick smoothie as well today.

It is 59 degrees here in Tucson I have an errand to take care of this morning out on the airbase. A visit to the Class 6 store is needed. Smile!

Elise and I went to see the docu-movie titled " Inequality for All". It was very good and very educational. it was about the vast difference between the 99% and the 1%. We learned a thing or two I must say.

Later in the evening we played "Mahjong". It was Elise, Bobby, and of course me. Well Elise put out  a nice spread of snacks to include Cheetos the puffed ones. Once you start eating those you just cannot stop. I am here to tell you that is so true. So good!

Elise won two games, Bobby won one, and I ended up with a goose egg. Oh well it was fun. This evening after Marv arrives to care for Chris we are going to the "Outback" for dinner. We will be joined by my girlfriend "Lila". You remember Lila the only woman that Elise allows me to date. I am going to talk to Elise to see if I can expand my horizon and throw in a couple more dating prospects. You can visit me in the hospital, I would appreciate that a lot.

Well, I had better get to work. Have a great Friday and get out there and get that party started.
Later........Jessie and Elise

Tiger, Marcie, Jet have a good day. Happy Birthday Ray!

Loraine, have a good one.

Jane and Papa John, see you on Sunday for HH.

Flo and John,stay safe.

Ross and Denise, what is up?

Mood: Concerned!

Music listening to: Sunrise (meditation)

It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning and she is awake. She slept well during the night. Soon she will be up and on her way to the gym. The fur-babies were quiet last night. Whew! Any plans for today?

The coffee is good this morning,no salad due to I am out of Romaine, so a smoothie is in store for me. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. Chris and Elise will be getting a massage from Donna this morning as well.

We went to see the movie "Last Vegas" and it is hilarious. We would recommend this one as a must see. After the movie Elise and I went to "Sonic" for dinner. I have to tell you that was a very good idea. The food was very good and we are going to go back again.

We are going to the "Loft" this afternoon to see a movie and later in the evening we are going to play "Mahjonng " with Bobby here at our home. It should be a good evening.

We are looking forward to a visit from Sheila tomorrow. It will be good to see her and to find out what has been going on in Douglas, AZ. I have a quick errand to run this morning while Angelica is here caring for Chris.

Well, I had better jump to it. Have a great day!

It's a Hump Day! Sup? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning and she is sleeping soundly this morning. She slept much better during the night. I cannot say the same for me because I was constantly checking on her, and the fur-babies were barking and playing tag again. Any plans for today?

The coffee is very good and I am going to hook up a small salad and a strawberry smoothie shortly. It is 49 degrees here in Tucson right now.

Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. I will be taking Chris's wheelchair this afternoon to be re-seated and to have a tune up done on it.

Elise and I are going to "El Con Mall" to see the movie "Lost Vegas" if she feels up to it. It should be a good one. It has gotten very good reviews.

Good Night!

Good Night!

The day has come to a close. How was yours? Things have been good here today. Elise is still not feeling her best.

She has hit the sheets already, and she called our doctor for some meds. I have been watching her this evening and her energy is not there. I will keep an eye on her during the night. I hope that she feels better tomorrow.

I composed 8 different songs today for the upcoming Murder Mystery Dinner that we are going to attend on the 16th of November. I informed my fellow actors and one of them may one up me, but all I can say is (bring it). Smile! She will have a hard time trying to top the Maestro.

Well, I had better get back to Chris and check on Elise. Have a great evening.
Cheers....Jessie and Elise

Tiger, Marcie, Jet sleep well.

Loraine, woohoo! Shake that thang!

Jane and John, sleep well.

Flo and John, stay safe.

Tricky Tuesday!

Good Morning!

Mood: Concerned!

Music listening to: I Wanna Sex You Up by Color Me Bad

It's a Tricky Tuesday! What is up? I started the day of several times due to the fur-babies were barking and running around in the backyard chasing each other. Elise is in her cave this morning, but she is stirring about. She will be up soon to head for the gym. Any plans for today?

The coffee is freshly brewed and a orange smoothie and a salad awaits me. I tossed and turned last night because I kept an eye on Elise due to her having a bout of dizziness lately. She also did not sleep well last night due to she was tossing and turning as well and her breathing was a bit labored. I will continue to keep an eye on her.

It is a nice 58 degrees this morning and we did not get the rain that was expected last night. It is a bit cloudy right now, so one only can hope.

Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. I have two more lectures to do and I will have completed my "Death" course. I will then decide on another course to take. So be on the lookout for a few questions coming your way.

Well, I had better get busy. Have a great day and stay safe, happy and healthy.

Good Night!

Good Night!

How did your day go? Things around here were very slow and peaceful. It is suppose to rain tonight but I doubt that will happen. I could be wrong though.

Chris and I rested today, we watched TV, listened to music, and we took a nice walk. Elise and her partner came in first place again at bridge. WooHoo!

Elise prepared soup for dinner that was very good. We watched a couple of episodes of "West Wing" with Chris. It is a very good series.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is at the "Tucson Women's Chorus" practice. We hope that you enjoy your evening.
Later........Jessie and Elise

Mood: Content!

Music listening to: Rescue Me by Fontella Bass

It's a Monday! What's up? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning. She will be getting up slowly to start her day. Any plans for today?

The Kona coffee is very good. I will make myself a small salad for later in the day. I am thinking about a strawberry smoothie, we will see. Smile!

It is 55 degrees this morning here in the Old Pueblo. The forecast is for a 30% chance of the wet stuff.

We had a wonderful evening last night with Shoo and Stu. They are such great hosts! We enjoyed a very nice spread before we did battle.

This bout of "Mahjonng" was very interesting because several of the games nobody won at all. That changed quickly though because Shoo and Elise each one a game. Stu and I won (zip), but we had a very good time.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Do you have a (bucket list)? I do and I love adding to it and marking things off of it. On the list is a trip to Las Vegas to stay in the Bellagio and that is going to happen in February 2014. Don't you love it when a plan comes together? WooHoo!

It's Sunday!

Good Morning!
Elise enjoying a Ron Matusalem Platino

Tucson Wedding

Mood: Rummied!

Music listening to: Poison by Bell, Bev,Devo

It's Sunday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:40am getting Chris ready for Elise. Elise is in her cave but she will be up shortly to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

The Kona coffee is great this morning. We are going to go out for breakfast at "Bread and Butter". We have been there before and the food is good.

We had a very nice evening and our "Wildcats' won as well. Go Cats! Elise and I had dinner at "Saint House Rum Bar downtown. It was great and it was suggested that we visit there by Paula and Marty.

We started off with a very nice table. We watched the action on Congress street. We love to people watch, don't you?

Elise ordered a Ron Matusalem Platino (a Dominican Republic rum. I ordered a Mojito that was really good. We shared an order of Taro Chips with Banana Ketchup. Fantastic! Taro chips is a root that is deep fried and the ketchup is a blend of bananas and spices.

We tried the Jerk Chicken that was very spicy and ooh so good. Elise ordered the Mexican-style spicy shrimp (Ceviche). It is delicious! Elise said that on our next visit she is going to order three types of Ceviche.

I ordered the Ropa Vieja Saint House when translated means (old clothes). Well these old clothes were delicious. It is a boneless beef short rib that has been braised for 48 hours and then seared with rum and spices. Woohoo, it is so good.

We ordered a couple more cocktails. I ordered a sipping rum at the cost of $18.00 dollars. I was in rum heaven. The Saint House was turning away people left and right. It was all booked up with reservations and the bar area was packed. It is recommended that you make a reservation before hand like we did. We will be making another trip downtown to get our grub on at Saint House Rum Bar. Kudos to Paula and Marty.

We are going to do battle this evening with Shoo and Stu. We are going to play "Mahjonng" so they need to prepare for a beat-down and they should have plenty of coin to send my way for sure.

Well, I had better check on Chris and get ready to get my grub on at "Bread and Butter". Have a great day.
Later.........Jessie and Elise

Tiger, Marcie, have a good one.

Jet, welcome home. Take it easy.

Loraine,have a good day.

Shoo and Stu, see you this evening. Cha Ching!

Flo and John,enjoy!

Herman, thank you so much for the great rates. This future trip in February is on my Bucket List.

It's The Weekend!

Good Morning!
Elise enjoying her victory dinner at "Cattletown Steakhouse".

Bobby getting his grub on at "Cattletown Steakhouse".

Mood: Survived! Whew!

Music listening to: Nasty Girls by Sheila E

It's the Weekend! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:55am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning and I think that she will not be getting up on time this morning. Any plans for today?

The Kona coffee is delicious. My banana, orange and whey smoothie is waiting on me in the fridge. Extra thick! It is a cool 55 degrees here in the valley of Tucson.

Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris and Rosemary will be here this evening. Elise and I are going to the "Saint House Rum Bar" this evening for a light dinner and a few cocktails. This place was recommended to us by Paula and Marty so we are going to give it a go.

After dining there we are going to the "Arizona Theater Company" to see the live play about what took place just before the shooting of Martin Luther King Jr. The title of this play is "Mountaintop", it got great reviews and we are really looking forward to it.

I am sure you are waiting to hear about the outcome of our dinner outing at the "Cattletown Steakhouse" right? Well, we arrived and the place had a very nice crowd of dinners. We got seated and we ordered cocktails while we looked over the menu.

We are here because Elise won the bet about who would win the World Series (Redless Socks). I was looking over the menu and I could vision the dollars flying out of my wallet and having to wash dishes, pots and pans.

Elise ordered the "Gunslinger's Porterhouse" over half a pound of moo cow goodness that came with all of the fixings. I ordered the "Texan's T-bone over one pound of moo cow goodness with all of the fixings. Bobby was with us and I needed the moral support and a back up just in case a loan was needed. Bobby ordered the all you can eat "Fish Fry" with the fixings. Bobby also ordered some deep fried mac and cheese. I ordered some deep fried shrimp with cocktail sauce that was excellent. Elise and I had a couple of Jack and Coke and Bobby had a couple of Long Island Ice Teas. We are stuffed, and I am sweating bullets anticipating the bill.

Well, to my relief I did not have to go into the kitchen to work off my bill. I could breath again! WooHoo. After dinner we dropped by the "DDC" to pull a few slots and to collect our perks. This was where my wallet took a beating. Yes, the slots were not kind to us at all. Elise and I thought a couple of Jack's might loosen things up but no way. People were hitting all around us and that was just not right, smile!

We decided that we had better head for home. We had a very nice evening and will we do it again? Of course we will. Have a great day and enjoy!
Later.....Jessie and Elise

Tiger, Marcie, have a good day.

Jet, prayers are on the way.

Loraine,what is up?

Jane and John, have a good one.

Shoo and Stu, get ready it's coming your way. Beat-down!

Flo and John, stay safe.

Anne, glad that you liked the house photos.

Afternoon!!

Good Afternoon!

Hey how are you doing? We are good here so far. It has warmed up a little bit. It is 69 degrees.

Well, the Marathon Bridge game is underway. It was touch and go there for a minute. My girlfriend (Lila) had to put her van in the shop for repairs so I had to drop over to pick her up. She was glad to see me, WooHoo! I got it like that, smile!

As the bidders and shufflers were arriving I took a few candid pics of them as I was taking some perimeter shots of the house. One of the bidders said that they didn't spot any of my for sale signs out. Next bridge game I will make it a point that her car gets sold first. Yes, I will, smile!

I am starting to get hungry. May salad was delicious but now I am starting to get the growling stomach. I can't go to the "Cattletown Steakhouse" with a empty stomach because if that happens I will be washing dishes for sure.

Well, I had better get back with Chris. Chat at you later. I need a margarita or a large Jack and Coke!

TGIF!!

Good Morning!
Tucson, Arizona

Mood: Cheerful!

Music listening to: My Everything by Barry White (classic R&B)

It's a TGIF!! Can I get a (what, what)? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning. I am sure that she will be up and moving about soon. Any plans for today?

The Kona coffee is the bomb this morning. I will make a small salad for later and a smoothie as well. Extra thick! It is a cold 44 degrees here in Tucson this morning.

Well, Elise, Bobby, and I went to see the movie "Carrie" last night and it is very good. It mirrors the original very well and it is updated to reflect today's time. We would recommend this one as a must see.

Elise hosting a Marathon Bridge game here this afternoon. So that means the bidders and shufflers will be out in force. I will be checking out the automobile inventory only today. I am taking it slow and easy due to the upcoming events that will take place tonight. Sigh!

Yes, tonight is the night that I pay up on the bet that I made with Elise about the outcome of the World Series. Those Red Socks have hit me out of the park, smile!

Elise will be enjoying her steak dinner with all of the fixings to include dessert because the Red Socks won. We will be joined by Bobby this evening at "Cattletown Steakhouse". The name sounds expensive doesn't it? I will be taking a bottle of dish detergent with me just in case I have to wash a few dishes. Can you hear me mooing? Not mooning Jane!

After dinner we will bounce into the DDC to pull a few slots and pick up our perks. I hope that I can pull slot or two if I have anything left after "Cattletown Steakhouse". Marv will be here caring for Chris while we are out for the evening.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Please say a few Hail Mary's for me so I can make it through this day. Scumbag Red Socks! Have a good day.
Later....Jessie and Elise

Tiger, Marcie, have a good day.

Jet, prayers are ongoing.

Loraine, thanks for feeling my pain about what is going to happen this evening at Cattletown. Wish me luck on the slots if I get to play, smile!
