Good Night

Well, the day has ended and it has been a pretty slow but good one. Elise has the flu and she is taking it easy. As a matter of fact she has hit the sheets already. I will check on her from time to time.

We watched the last DVD of the Mash series with Chris and he enjoyed it very much and we did too. It reminded me of when you depart for a station change in the service that saying good-bye to fellow soldiers is a very hard thing to do. So the ending of Mash hit home for me.

We had soup for dinner and we downed it with root beer. I am caring for Chris this evening and he is resting and relaxing right now. Well, I had better get back to Chris and Elise. Have a good night.

Monday Lookout! How are you? I started the day off at 5:20am caring for Chris. Elise is still slumbering this morning. She is not feeling well as of last night, so I will keep an eye on her. Any plans for today?

I have to run a few errands later in the day and that is about it for me. The coffee is good this morning and I am on my second cup. It is a pleasant 50 degrees already.

We had a very nice breakfast with Paula and Marty at Teresa's yesterday. It is always good to hear what is happening in there lives and they keep us up to date on things going on around the Old Pueblo area.

We rested for most of the day yesterday and we relaxed. Rosemary was here to care for Chris in the evening. Elise and I had KFC and tater tots for dinner. It was very good and we watched a old movie called "Sling Blade" with Billy Bob Thorton. Elise had never seen it before but I had, it is a excellent movie.

Elise hit the sheets early and I watched TV until Rosemary departed and I checked on Chris. Then I called it a night as well. Well, I had better check on Chris. Have a good day and stay safe.

Proud of our Cat's! How are you this morning? I started the day off at 5:20am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning as soon as she can pull her head away for her pillow. Any plans for today?

Well, our Cat's had a very good run but they could not defeat Uconn. It was a very good game. We had a very ,very nice evening with Loraine and Jim at Zemams. The food was great and the champagne was a good accompaniment to the meal. After dinner we meet at Loraine's and the margarita's began to flow. We played a very competitive game of Wizard, and the results were , well let me say interesting. Right Loraine? There is nothing like a good beat down that was predicted by me.

Loraine prepared a dessert that was heavenly and it was a hit as usual. Loraine is the Betty Crocker of Tucson. We returned home and I checked on Chris and we called it a night. A wonderful time was had by everyone. We are going to meet up with Paula and Marty this morning for breakfast at "Teresa's" the food there is excellent, and the coffee is very good and a bit different.

We have no other plans for today so I believe that we will stay in and watch movies and maybe grab a bucket of KFC. Elise may prepare some tater tots to go along with the chicken. Well, I had better get to it. Have a great Sunday and keep in mind that tomorrow is Monday.

How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning after she has guided the last ship into dock, smile. Any plans for today?

We had a very nice time at Colors last night. We enjoyed our Jack and Cokes and the place was crowded. We then went to Live Theatre to see "Trying" and it had to be the best live play we have seen there. It was about a retired judge and his relationship with his secretary. It showed a very personal side to both players. It gives you the true view into what it means when you hear "It is hell getting old". We would recommend this one highly.

After the play we went to Applebee's for a light dinner and a bottle of red. It was quite a few patrons there as well. We returned home and I checked on Chris and we called it a night. A very good day and evening. Well, we are all hyped up for our Wildcats who will play Uconn in the Elite 8 today. Go Cat's! We are also going to meet up with Loraine and Jim this evening at Zemems for dinner. After dinner we will head over to Loraine's for a battle of Wizard.

TGIF! We did it, we did it! Our Wildcats are in the Elite 8. We beat The number one seed Duke. It was a very, very good game. How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is still cheering for the Cat's in her sleep. Any plans for today?

I have to run a few errands this morning. Elise is hosting a Marathon bridge game here this afternoon. Later in the evening after Marv arrives to care for Chris we are going to Colors to throw down a few Jack and Cokes. After that we are going to the Live Theatre to see a play called"Trying" it is a two actor play that should be very interesting. After the play we are going to Applebees for a light dinner and some vino.

GO CAT's!! How are you this morning? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is with Wilbur and Wilma Cat this morning cheering on our Wildcat's. We are in the Sweet Sixteen and we play Duke this evening. It should be a very good game and we have the beer chilling already, smile. Any plans for today?

Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris and Rosemary will be here this evening. So it will be a evening of cheese crisps, jalapenos, refried beans, tamales and cold beer. We are also going to the movies this afternoon as well. A full day,eh?

Pam the massage therapist will be here today as well to give Chris and Elise a massage. The coffee is good and I am thinking about a slice of toast to go along with it. We watched a movie last night called"Just Cause" and it was very good. It starred Sean Connery, Lawrence Fishburn and Blair Underwood, it was great with a lot of twists and turns.

Well, I had better get myself together. Have a great Thirsty Thursday and stay safe and happy.

Nothing set here as of yet, but it is early. Rosemary will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. It is a cool morning here in the valley but I hope it heats up soon. I am thinking about a hot link for breakfast this morning, weird,eh?

How are you this evening? It has been a pretty good day here in Tucson. Are we going to get anymore rain? I went out to the DDC to pick up our perks and I lost $40.00 but I had a good time.

We watched a DVD called "Murderball". It is about quads who play rugby in a wheelchair. It was very interesting we learned a lot more about quads. Elise prepared beans and cornbread for dinner that was great. We got it all down with root beer, yes I said root beer, smile.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is doing genealogy research on her computer. Well, I had better get back to work. Sleep well!

How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is rolling down the Rialto this morning but a soon as she hits boulder or two she will wake up to start her day. Any plans for today?

I have a couple of errands to take care this morning. I will get that done when Angelica arrives to care for Chris. The coffee is good this morning and it hits the spot on this cool morning. The winds have stopped for now but it is supposed to get colder this evening. I was just about to breakout the shorts but I think I will wait a bit.

I am thinking about another cup of coffee and a sausage biscuit to go along with it, smile. Well, I had better get to steppin and get this day rolling. Have a good day and stay safe.

Well, the day has come to a close. It has been a different kind of day but that is a Monday for you,eh? We have wind and it is getting and now we are being rained on.

One good thing though. I am back online via the desktop. I picked up a new modem and I installed it and now I am a happy dude, smile. Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had sausages, pancakes and hot coffee, delicious. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is at her chorus group practicing.

Yikes, Monday again. How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is being tossed about this morning by the strong winds but she will be up and at it as soon as she crashes into Mount Lemmon, smile. Any plans for today?

I have several errands to take of today and I hope that I don't get blown away while I am out and about. I don't want to end up in Phoenix somewhere, smile. We are supposed to get some rain today and for the next few days as well. We can always use the rain here in the desert.

I am still using the laptop due to still having desktop problems and I cannot get online with the desktop at all. I will call Qwest this morning to have a a tech come out to fix it. Well, I had better grab another cup of coffee and a danish before I head out to run my errands. I will shoot a few baskets later this morning to keep up with Elise, smile.
