TGIF

Good Morning

Mood: Relaxed

Music listening to: Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls by TLC.

TGIF! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:15am caring for Chris. Elise is yodelling off of a mountain but rest assured she will be hiking down the mountain to start her day post haste. The coffee is very, very good because I just ground up some fresh beans. I am thinking toast and jelly, smile.

Any plans for today or this weekend? We have nothing planned for today as of yet. I do have to run to my office this afternoon though. We will be packing a small bag though for our very short stay-cation here in Tucson. We will be staying at the Hilton tomorrow so we can see how Kecia does alone with Chris for a 24 hour period. This will be the final phase of her training.

Well, I had better get to moving. Have a good Friday and a better weekend. Stay safe!

Good Night

Good Night,

How did your day go? It was a pretty good one here in Tucson. After Rosemary arrive to care for Chris, Elise and I went to the movies to see Sherlock Holmes and it was very good.

After the movie we ran a couple of errands and then Bucky and Dena arrived to go out to dinner. We went to the Fire and Ice eatery in the Sheraton Hotel. Elise and I have been there before and and the food was great.

We shared some jalapeno snakebites and we ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir that was very good. Elise had fish tacos, with veggies, I had the pork tenderloin with veggies and so did Dena. Bucky had the salmon with veggies and sweet potatoes. It was a great meal. While we were enjoying our meal we listened to a live jazz band that was excellent.

We returned home to play some Hearts but we changed our mind because Bucky had to get up early to go to work. We will get together for cards at another time. Elise hit the sheets and I follow after I check on Chris after Rosemary leaves for the night. We hope that your Thursday was a good one? Sleep well and we will chat at you tomorrow.

Night............

Good Night Jeanne, I sent of the thank you email for you today. The virtual flowers are no longer available so I sent a virtual cupcake instead.

Tiger and Marcie, enjoy the evening.

Thirsty Thursday

Good Morning

Mood: Naughty

Music listening to: To Long by Mary J. Blige

How are you? I started the day off at 4:30am due to waking up from a very weird dream. Elise is jumping from cloud to cloud but she will be landing back on Terra Ferma soon and she will take off running. It is a very mild morning and the coffee is delicious.

Elise and I had a very nice time visiting Jeanne and Angelica, they are wonderful hostess and Jeanne is looking good. I hope that we didn't wear her out by staying too long. We returned home and we had one of my favorite meals for dinner. We had BLT's, carrots and a few Jack's to tide us over.

Rosemary cared for Chris last night. After she left I checked on Chris and we called it a night. Chris will be receiving his massage this morning and I am sure that he is looking forward to that. Later in the evening we are going to go to have dinner at a place called Fire and Ice with Bucky and Dena, it should be a memorable evening.

Well, I had better get this day rolling. Have a good Thursday and stay happy, safe and healthy.

Later.................

Good Morning Jeanne, so good to see you like always.

Rosie, so good to hear from you.

Tiger and Marcie, you two are something else.

Good Morning

Mood: Determined

Music listening to: Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye (classic R&B)

Happy Hump Day! I started the day off at 6:00am can you believe that? Elise is still starting her engine this morning but she will be on the road again shortly. I got Chris settled and and he is waiting for Kecia to arrive to care for him this morning. This is the final day of her trail period and so far so good. Keep your fingers and toes crossed.

Any plans for this Hump Day? None here except that we are going to pay Jeanne of the foothills a short visit this evening after Rosemary arrives to care for Chris. Well, I had better get this Hump Day humping along by getting another cup of coffee and taking Porkchop out for a walk.

Have a good day and stay safe, happy and healthy.

Good Night

Good Night,

Well the day went very well for Kecia and Chris. Kecia did a very good job of caring for Chris this morning and she transferred him from his bed to his chair all by herself and that made her proud. Kecia will return again tomorrow morning to care for Chris as well for her final trial period.

Chris and I rested today and we spent a lot of time outside in the front yard. It was a very nice day and the temperature was in the 70's. After Elise returned we ate dinner and we all watched Mash on DVD. Chris loves Mash and so do we. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise just left to play bridge at her Mum's. I am a bit sore from doing my Wii workouts but I will continue to do them.

Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a good night and sleep well. Hey, do you remember when I was sick a while back last year? Elise took over our blog and kept it going until I recovered. Well, I have been asked by a few followers of our blog as to why Elise doesn't put in her spin in our blog more often. She did a great job I must say. I am trying to get her to do just that and I hope that she will. What do you think? Let me know, OK?

Cheers....................

Good Night Jeanne, see you tomorrow evening. It was good to chat with you today.

Joe and Mary, have a good time on your upcoming fishing outing. Enjoy!

Tiger and Marcie, sleep well.

Claudia, it was so good to talk to you today. We hope that things continue to get better for you throughout this New Year.

Tuesday Morning

Good Morning

Mood: Inspired

Music listening to: Treat Her Like A Lady by the Temptations

How are you on this fine Tuesday morning? I started the day off at 5:15am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is up and out this morning, more than likely she is swimming like a catfish. Keisha will be caring for Chris this morning starting at 7:00am to noon.

Hey the coffee is good and hot this morning and I will have two cups before I take Lampchop out for a walk. Any plans for today? I have none but I will be working out on the Wii this morning. It is a cool 49 degrees right now and it is supposed to get into the 70's today, and that is why we live here in the Old Pueblo.

Well, I had better get dressed and get this day percolating. Have a good day and enjoy!

Later...................

Good Morning Jeanne

Laura, how are things in Wales? Happy New Year!

Steph, what are you up to today?

Tiger and Marcie, let's get a move on sisters.

Good Night

Good Night

How is your evening going? Things are good here. Chris and I took things rather slow and easy today. We watched TV for a while and we took a nice walk. Porkchop enjoyed his walk earlier this morning and tomorrow it will be Lampchop's turn at it.

Elise and I both got our Wii Fit Plus session in for today. Elise prepared breakfast for dinner and it was very good. We had pancakes, sausages and hot coffee. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is playing bridge at her Mums. Well, I had better get back to work so take it easy and enjoy the rest of the evening.

Later................

Good Night Jeanne

Sharon, you sent some good emails today, thanks.

Monday Morning

Good Morning

Mood: Irritated

Music listening to: How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You by Marvin Gaye

How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is counting crows this morning but she will be winging it shortly. The coffee is delicious this morning and I am thinking pancakes to boot. Any plans for today?

No plans for today as of yet but I am going to take Porkchop out shortly for a walk around the hood. We had a very nice day yesterday. We played a few games of ping-pong in the backyard. After Rosemary arrived to care for Chris we went out for dinner at Applebee's with Elise's Mum her treat. We enjoyed it very much and we are going to start to go there after we attend the Live Theater when the plays are too long to make it to Buddy's Grill.

Elise's Mum had fried shrimp and fries and they really loaded her up with the shrimp, wow, it was at least 2 dozen of them. Elise had grilled shrimp and steak with a baked potato and veggies. I had steak with riblets with mashed potatoes and veggies. We washed it down with a bottle of Cab that was very good. Elise's Mum had coffee and a small hot fudge sundae and Elise and I shared a hot apple pie with ice cream that was great with a caramel sauce. Wonderful evening!

We returned home and Elise hit the sheets and read a book that she just cannot put down. I continued to read a book that I had started and I am almost finished with it. After Rosemary left the night I checked on Chris and we called it a night. A very good first weekend of 2010. Well, I had better check on Chris and get ready to take Porky out for his walk. Have a good day and take it slow and easy.

Later..............

Good Morning Jeanne, see you on Wednesday.

Ross, how are things?

Joe and Mary what is happening around your way?

Tiger and Marcie, have a good one.

Rory, how are things in Fallen?

Good Sunday Morning

Good Morning

Mood: Civil

Music listening to: Baby, Baby, Baby by TLC

How are you this morning? I started the day off at 6:00am by going outside to pick up the newspaper from the driveway. Elise is still counting crows this morning but as you know she will be up and on the move soon.

I haven't had any coffee as of yet but I will be putting the pot on very, very soon. It is a bit cold outside here in the Old Pueblo this morning. Keshia is caring for Chris this morning due to she did a overnight with him as part of her trial period. So far so good, except for a little problem with his transfer from his chair to his bed.

We had a good day yesterday and the movie Men Who Stare At Goats was funny and really silly. We returned home after the movie and we prepared our dinner. We had lobster tails, corn and sweet peas and of course a few glasses of red. I must tell you that the lobster was delicious, yes it was, and the butter made it even better. Wow, it was so good.

After dinner we played video games on the laptop for a couple of hours and that is always fun. Earlier in the day we played games on the Wii. We are going to go out to breakfast with Elise's Mum like we do every Sunday. Elise's Mum wants to take us out for dinner this evening as well so that should be fun too!

Well, I had better get some coffee brewing and get this day started. Keshia will be leaving at 8:00am and Elise will be caring for Chris for the rest of the morning. Have a good Sunday and beware tomorrow is a Monday.

Later..................

Good Morning Jeanne

Steph, how are things?

JT, you need to let us know what has taken place with you lease, like yesterday. I explained this to your Mom and she says it is none of her business but it is because the outcome will affect her as well.

Rosie, how are you doing?

Monna, how was your weekend?

Day 2 of 2010

Good Morning,

Mood: Taking Care Of Biz

Music listening to: Sitting In My Room by Brandy

How are you? I started the day off at 5:35am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is caring for Chris this morning until Keshia arrives to care for Chris on a trial run by herself, but we will be here if she has any problems.

The coffee pot is brewing and I have my cup at the ready. Wait a minute I went to take the newspaper over to the main house and Elise has gone swimming for the first time this year. You cannot hold her down, smile.

I have to run a few errands this morning to include getting my ears lowered for the first time this year. We had a very restful day yesterday and we played video games on the Wii. In the evening after Marv arrived to care for Chris we went to Sir Vegas a taco eatery right up the street. Let me tell you the food was good and the Margaritas were excellent, we had two each of the Cadillac's.

We returned home and we watched a DVD about prison escapes and it was very good and the ending was a a real surprise and shocker. Well, I had better get myself together and get this day moving along. Have a good day and a better tomorrow.

Later................

Good Morning Jeanne, how about those Buckeyes? It was a very good game.

Claudia, thank you so much for the very nice phone call yesterday we really enjoyed your message. I will give you a call sometime today, OK?

Liz, hang in there things will get better.

Tiger and Marcie, have a good weekend and Tiger have a safe trip back home.

Happy New Year

Good Morning! Happy New Year!

Mood: Joyful

Music listening to: I Like Big Butts by Sir-Mix-alot.

How are you doing on this first day of 2010? I started the day off at 5:45am caring for Chris. Elise is counting lambs, sheep, cows or any other type critter but she will be up and greeting the New Year soon.

We had a very nice dinner last night to bring in the New Year. We cornbread, black eyed peas, German ketchup and we toasted the New Year with a bottle of champagne. I was surprised that the usual noise makers and horn blowing was kept to a low. I guess it is a sign of the times, eh?

We will be staying in all day until Marv shows up o care for Chris this evening. Then we are going to a new Mexican eatery for dinner. I believe that is a good way to start the year of with a good and spicy meal with a Margarita or two, or three! Well, I had better get back to work with Chris. Have a great day today and may the rest of the year be just as good.

Elise and I would like to thank all of our family, friends, neighbors, epals and buddies for making 2009 a good year. We hope that 2010 will be even better for all of us and we pray everyday that you say healthy, happy and continue to be full of life.

Happy New Year!!
