We just got back from having a good breakfast at "Gus Balons", good as always.  Alexa is awake and she said that I need to visit the 'Ufficio Postale" this morning.

We received 0.5 rain last night. My fidanzata got 2 inches and Capo Jim got 1.3 inches. What is going on here in Central Tucson?

Here is the Chefs Day plated. It was delicious. Enough was made to have for leftovers. Ya Mon'.

We saw the movie "Cookie Queens", yesterday and it was very good. We may go to the movies on Friday.

I will be prepping a new rock today. My playmate has started to work on one that is difficult and it is going to take a few days to complete it.

We will be dining this evening at "Teresas Mozaic". We will be meeting up with Bev and David.

I just got back from running a few errands and picking up some meds.

Here are a few pics from yesterday's Chef Day. My playmate and I will be dining on this tonight. I am posting them late because I was having problems with my Gmail acct. Hopefully it is corrected now. Are you drooling yet?

There has been a change for the movie at the "Loft Cinema" for this afternoon. We will see "Cookie Queens" instead. On Friday we will see "Rose of Nevada".

For some reason I am starving. I think I will hook up a (hot link) on a hoagie roll. That is the ticket.

Buon Mercoledi!  Hump Day!  How are you doing on this nice, cloudy morning here in the valley of Tucson?  Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Jamaican Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. Alexa is awake and she said that today is going to be super busy.

My playmate will be making her way to "Himmel Park" for her "Tai Chi" class. After that she will hit the pool.

I will be doing a session of my (Core) workout in a bit. I will also be working on my latest rock creation.

We will be hitting up the "Loft Cinema" to see the movie "Rose of Nevada" this afternoon.

This evening we will be dining on the "Chefs Day" meal. It is going to be delicious. My shorty will select the proper libation to go with the meal.

I got all of my errands taken care of out on the airbase and "Belleza Nera" has a smile on her nameplate. 

My shorty is out and about, and she will be going to her (bridge) in a bit.

Today is a day of memories for us. Chris would have been 56 years old today. I want to thank everyone who sent emails, texts, and calls today.

As soon as the housekeeper leaves, I will be in the (cucina) cooking away. I am preparing Slow Cooker Green Beans, Baby Potatoes, with diced Bacon. It is a Soul Food Dish that my (mum) would make to go with a Sunday dinner. Chris would have loved this meal without a doubt.

Buon Martedi! Taco Tuesday!  How are you doing? It is a nice, mostly cloudy morning here in Tucson. Any plans for today?

Today is Chris's birthday. He would have been 56 years old. Today will be filled with loving memories.

The coffee is a good Jamaican Blend, and a second cup will be downed later this morning. Alexa is awake and she said that today is going to be a busy one.

I am working on a new rock, and my shorty has one in the works.

My shorty will be getting her froyo fix before she attends her weekly (bridge) game this afternoon.

I will be completing a (Core) session shortly. I will be getting back to cleaning the Man Cave today as well.

I am also going out on the airbase to gas up the Bellezza Nera. While I am there, I will stop in the commissary to pick up what I need for Chefs Day. I will be preparing tomorrow's meal today.

Hey desert dwellers what is up?  Are we going to get more rain today? Let's keep our fingers and toes crossed.

My playmate is out and about. I am sure that some froyo is in her future.

I am about to start cleaning in the (Man Cave). I usually take my time and get it down in two days. No rush.

Well, I feel like some Soul Food. So, this Tuesday will be Chefs Day. While my shorty is away for her weekly (bridge) game I will be in the (cucina) smoking it up. I will prepare it for Wednesday's dinner. It goes good with some hot buttered cornbread.

I am going to prepare A Southern Slow Cooker Green Beans and Potatoes with Bacon. I haven't had that since I was a (ragazzo). My mom used to cook it a lot to go with our Sunday dinner. I am really looking forward to sampling it while is slowly cooking. Do you know what I am saying?

Last night we saw the movie "Super Troopers 3", it was very funny. A "Super Troopers 4" is in the works.

How are you doing desert dwellers? It is a scorcher here in Tucson, let me tell you. The lizards are jumping and hopping around it is so hot.

I have been having tons of trouble with Gmail today. That is why the blog is so late today, and it still is not working right.

We enjoyed a good breakfast at the "Egg Connection" this morning.

We braved the heat to do some yardwork, and we set some tree branches out for Brush and Bulk pickup.

I had to make a trip to the Ufficio Postale as well today. Our mail pick up has been terrible lately.

I hate to tell you, but I got spanked big time at last nights "Wizard Fest". So, I am eating crow, it you will.

We enjoyed our dinner at "Opa's" last night with my fidanzata, Capo Jim, and Jay. The food was very good and so was my Mojito. Here are a few pics.

We will be hitting up the "Roadhouse Cinema" in a bit. We will see "Super Troopers 3". It is going to be funny.

Today is Chefs Day. It is so hot that we will keep it simple. We will have Grilled Cheese, and Grilled Ham and Cheese Sandwiches. My Sous will select the proper libation to go with the meal.

Well, I had better check on Azalya. She is in the main house cooling off. I will check her water and food.

Buon Sabato!  How are you doing? It is a hot, sunny morning here in Tucson.  Any plans for today? 

The coffee is a good Jamaican Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today.

I will be completing my latest rock creation today. I will drop it in the hood tomorrow. My shorty is still working on hers.

We enjoyed our visit to "La Parrilla Suiza" last night for Happy Hour. The margaritas were very good.

After Happy Hour we made our way over to the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the live play "The Velocity of Autumn". This play was excellent and very well done with a two-person cast. The cast members were Nancy Lewis and Michael Martinez. Michael is the Executive Artistic Director of the Live Theater Workshop. It was good to see him on stage again. We recommend this play for sure as a must see.

This evening we will be joining my fidanzata, Capo Jim, and Jim at "Opa's" for dinner. Afterwards we will meet up at my fidanzata's home for a "Wizard Fest". It has been a while since we have gotten together to play. My fidanzata is shaking her boots because she knows that a spanking is coming her way. Pow, Pow! We are looking forward to it.

We saw the movie "One Night Only" at Park Place yesterday and it was very good.
