What is going on around your way?  We just got back from the Egg Connection. We enjoyed a very good breakfast.

Elise is caring for Chris and I am taking care of my usual Domenica tasks. I will do a little yardwork behind Chris's house and in the backyard.

We both have our duffel bags out and we have started to pack for San Diego. We are looking forward to this trip because it is very relaxing and restful and we love Old Town.

We had a great evening last night at Cafe Torinos with Capo Jim and my (fidanzata) Loraine. The food was very good and so was the vino rosso. Chianti, one of our favorite Italian vinos. Here are a few pictures from last nights event. Enjoy! We did thank you Capo Jim and my (fidanzata) Loraine.

Tomorrow is going to be a very, very, very busy day for us. Elise will be training the new caregiver and I will train her on the use of the Hoyer. She will receive additional training on Tuesday from Sister Jayne. Hopefully all goes well. Also the Solar work will be inspected tomorrow. We will also recheck our packing for San Diego to make sure we have everything.

This afternoon my shorty will be donning her Kansas City Chiefs jersey so she can give the team her support. Go Chiefs! I will take a picture so I can post it to our blog.

Buon Sabato!  How are you? I started the day off at 5:15am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning and I may have to send in a search and rescue team to locate her so she can start her day. Any plans for today?

11 SEPT SYDNEY IS STILL ON LOCKDOWN AND OUR FRIENDS ROSS AND DENISE ARE WAITING TO PLAY GOLF!

The coffee is a good French Vanilla Blend and a second cup will be downed later this morning. It is a nice morning here in the "Old Pueblo" and it is going to get into the triple digits again today.

Sister Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that it is going to be another busy day for me. I have to make a trip over on the eastside this morning. I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today.

Yesterday  I detailed the inside of the "Green Lady" and I  treated the leather accents on the seats and doors. Now I need to get her washed and vacuumed out. So she can be ready to hit the road for our vacay that starts on Tuesday.

This evening we are meeting up with my (fidanzata) and Capo Jim at "Cafe Torino's" for my victory dinner from last year that got put off due to Covid. My shorty will be treating because she lost the bet. It will be an evening of good food, libations, and great friends.

My playmate and I enjoyed "Happy Hour" at La Parrilla Suiza last night. Good snacks and very good margaritas. After Happy Hour we hit up the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play ""Bloomsday" that was very good.

We are still working on rocks. I will post them later today. Hey are you ready for some football? We are looking forward to seeing our "Wildcats" play this evening. Tomorrow my shorty will be putting on here Chiefs jersey while she is watching Kansas City play.

Hey is the latest progressive picture of Sister Jayne's house being completed in Kenya. Well I had better get to it. Have a good Sabato and stay safe. I will chat at you later.

Buon Venerdi!  TGIF!  How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is at the entrance to her cave this morning so she will be up and strolling in the hood soon. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Caribou Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a nice morning here in Tucson but it is going to heat up quickly.

Sister Jayne will be here later this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I have a busy day today. I need to make a trip over on the eastside later this morning. I also need to et the "Green Lady" washed and detailed for our vacay to San Diego that starts on Tuesday and ends on Sunday.

We are going to Happy Hour this evening at "La Parrilla Suiza". Can you say margarita? You know we will. After Happy Hour we will head over to the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the live play "Bloomsday" it is going to be a good one.

Hello!

How are you doing? We are hanging in there as best we can. I have to tell you it has been a very, very stressful these past few weeks. 

Today we made our way to Green Valley for our monthly business trip. I dropped by PCOA to drop of some annual paperwork. My longtime coworker Nancy was there and it was good to see her. We both have been doing this for 30 years and she said that she is not ready to quit. That is a fantastic work ethic and I admire that.

The potential caregiver was here today and what impressed Elise and I about her is that she arrived early. Great habit! She will start on Monday and she will be trained by Elise and I will train her on the use of a Hoyer Lift. Her supervisor will be here at 10am on Monday as well to see her work. That is the way it should be. All of the other agencies that we went through just left the caregiver to themselves. On Tuesday she will be supervised by Sister Jayne due to we will be away. She will be in capable hands.

On Monday the Solar installation will be inspected and then powered up by TEP. I will post a few pictures of the installed panels at a later time.

What is up with you? I am as busy as can be right now. Things are all happening at the same time around here.

I am caring for Chris and having to stop due to the Solar techs are here early. Also the Evap tech is here working on Chris cooler. So I am going back and forth between the main house and Chris's house. I can see water coming off of Chris's roof due the the cooler is being drained. The fur-babies are barking like crazy as well. It is a (SNAFU) around here right now. 

I had better get back to Chris while I can before something else comes up. This Taco Tuesday has turned into a Monday.

Buon Martedi!  Taco Tuesday!  How are you? I started the day along with  Elise at 5:20am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Breakfast Blend and a second cup will be downed later this morning. We have a potential emergency this morning. We are out of coffee beans. This never happens, ever! We do have plenty of Keurig Pods to get through this crisis, smile!

It is a sticky and muggy morning here in Tucson. Chris's pump went out on his Evap yesterday. Hopefully the techs will be out today to replace it. I may have to turn on his A/C until then.

Alexa is awake and she said that I have a few tasks to take care of today to include making a trip to the UPS store. The Solar techs will be here this afternoon to install solar panels on the main house. This will continue on Wednesday as well. I asked Alexa to play some (Boney) for me today.

Chris the IRobot will be coming out of his cradle this morning to clean the main house carpet. My shorty and I are still  working on new rocks.  We are having a meet and greet tomorrow with a caregiver. Hopefully this one will be qualified.

Well the day is almost over, eh?  I had a good restful day today due to mio moglie caring for Chris for most of the day.

I even got in a Power Nap and I hardly ever get any of those. I prepared Grilled Cheese for Elise's dinner and I had a Ham and Cheese omelet. We watched "Offspring" on Netflix with Chris.

I am caring for Chris tonight. My shorty is listening to the news and she is working on a Covid puzzle. Chris is watching TV and downing his supplement. Tomorrow is going to be a busy one.

Have a good nights sleep so you can be ready for Taco Tuesday. I will chat at you later.

Hey is your Monday going so far?  We are good here. Chris had his massage and he is in a zone. Lucky guy!

Elise just got Chris up and they are in the main house watching Perry Mason on DVD.  I am working on a new rock and it will be finished tomorrow hopefully. For the next two days the Solar techs will be here installing the panels on the main house.

I am taking it easy today thanks to mio moglie caring for Chris. I will be preparing Cheese Sandwich's for Elise's dinner this evening and I will have a three egg omelet with ham and cheese. I fixed one last week and it was delicious.

Hey if you could please wish my longtime dear friend and my very first e pal Monna, a Happy Birthday? She is a avid follower of my blog and I will forward the bday wishes to her to make her day even better. Thanks. I have known Monna for almost 30 years and she is a sweetie with a fantastic family in Canada.

Buon Lunedi!  How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:15am. Elise popped up with me this morning and she is caring for Chris early this morning. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good Caramel Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a sticky morning here in the valley of Tucson. We may get more rain today. 

Alexa is awake and she said said that I don't have any tasks to complete today as of yet. I asked her to play some "Funk Jazz" for me today.

Chris will be receiving a massage today from Rosemarie. He is looking forward to that. My playmate and I will be working on new rocks today if time permits.

On Wednesday we are going to visit my girlfriend (Shoo Shoo). We are going to watch Hamilton on TV. It is going to be a fun evening indeed.

I am going to pick a Elective medical online class today for me to start in the near future.

How are you doing? We are good here. Hey now that was a good rain this evening. Thunderboomers, wind, rain and streets running like rivers. I may have to purchase a small canoe soon, eh? What fun that would be.

My Sous Chef took charge of the (cucina) today and she did a excellent job I must say. We enjoyed Baby Back Ribs and Baked Beans and Salad. We got it all down with some ice cold (birras). As a matter of fact I have a cold one waiting on me in the fridge right now.

My shorty and I will start new rocks tomorrow. We shall see if a  caregiver shows up in the morning to work with Chris. I completed my final online medical class this afternoon. ya Mon'.

I know that I am going to sleep well tonight after all of the yardwork in the easement this afternoon. Am I sore?  You better know it.

How are you doing so far on this Domenica? We enjoyed a good breakfast at the Egg Connection as usual.

Elise is caring for Chris and I am out behind Chris's in the easement dealing with tall weeds. I am sweating like and the Skin So Soft is not working to keep the flies and mosquitoes at bay. My shirt is soaked and I am glad that I put on some long pants. I need to down a gallon of water but I don't think that will work. I am thinking a gallon of (birras). Ya Mon'.

I still to restock Chris's supplies for next week. After I get cleaned up I chill for a bit. Today is now Sous Chef Day. Yes, Elise is cooking the Baby Back Ribs and Baked Beans. Sweet!

After breakfast we stopped at Edwina's home to drop off a birthday card that was not delivered by USPS for some reason. We also gave her a rock from the Cortez location. You should have seen the smile on her face. She made my day and she gave hugs all around. WooHoo!
