Buongiorno! Buon Mercoledi!  Hump Day!  How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

The coffee is a good "Sumatran Blend, and a second cup will be downed later this morning. It is clear but chilly morning here in Tucson.

Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she remined me that today is "Chefs Day". I asked her to play some music to cook by.

Well, my dinner last night was delicious. My shorty brought back a "Gyro Platter" from "Zayna's". It looks very good, right?

Yes, today is "Chefs Day". My Sous Chef and I will be once again tossing around pots and pans in the (cucina). Today's dinner will be "Parmesan Crusted Herb Tilapia" with Jasmine Rice. You know you want some, am I correct? Ah Mon'. My Sous Chef will select the libation to go along with the meal.

I have started a new rock and I believe I will complete it today.

Well, here is what happened in "Bar Harbor, Maine. Enjoy!

12 Oct Bar Harbor, Maine:

We got up at 8:00am. It was very, very foggy and you can't see a thing. It was also a cold 48 degrees.

We left for breakfast and the ship was still fogged in. We had to wait until the fog lift before the tenders could be deployed to shore.

Finally, the Captain allowed the tenders to be launched. We went to the Garden Cafe for lunch. We enjoyed pizza, burgers, sloppy joes, and Screwdrivers.

After breakfast we hit the (Loo) before we caught a tender to Bar Harbor.  Somehow my playmate and I got separated. We were looking for each other and we missed each other. I waited as three tenders left for shore. I got on one of the tenders thinking that I missed Elise, and she was on shore. I was wrong she was still onboard looking for me. I waited for a bit on Bar Harbor and didn't she her at the tenders docking point. So, I took a tender back to the ship. Elise left a note in our cabin saying that she was walking on the track, and that she was walking the stairs. She walked for about 45 minutes and then she went to have another Screwdriver. Elise returned to the room, and she found me there. I explained what I thought happened.

We rested up for a bit. Later we walked to the buffet to get a snack since our dinner reservation was at 8:30pm. So, we got a good liquid snack instead.

At 7:00pm we were invited by invitation to join the Captain and the First officer at a silver, and gold cruisers affair. There were about 200 people at this event. One couple was honored because they were (Ambassador) cruisers. They were presented with a bottle of champagne. The woman was 96 years old. Wow!

After that we played a few slots and then we went to dinner at the "Brazilian Restuarant". This is a high-end place. It cost us $49.00 each to dine. It was well worth the price. We love "Brazilian" food.  The waiters would come directly to you table with all different types of grilled meats. Pork, Lamb, Beef, Chicken. My shorty didn't eat as much as I did because she was stuffed from so much food. We both waddled to our cabin to call it game over for Bar Harbor. Another good day on the "Breakaway".
