Buongiorno! Buon Lunedi! How are you doing? We started the day off at 5:30am caring for Chris. Any plans for today?
The coffee is at good "Light Roast Blend, and a second cup has already been downed. Those special bars are deadly, smile! It is a sunny morning here in the valley of Tucson.
Jackie the caregiver is here to care for Chris. Alexa is awake and she said that I need to slow my roll today. So, I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today.
Hey, how about those "Chiefs"? Great game yesterday. It is almost time for the "World Series" to start. So that means my shorty and I will once again be betting against each other on the outcome. The winner must pay for dinner. We have been talking about the "Wild Garlic" up in the foothills. We haven't been there in quite a long time.
Are you ready? Here is what went on the 10th of October on our "New England" cruise. Enjoy!

We started our day off with a very good breakfast at O'Sheehan's. We both enjoyed a nice ham and cheese omelet with plenty of coffee. We are now in "Newport, Rhode Island".
We walked up to deck 16 to the Garden Cafe to get a banana for Elise. We signed up for tours to "St. Johns and Halifax. It is a chilly 48 degrees here today.
We took one of the (tenders) to go ashore in Newport, Rhode Island. We walked around a couple of hours in Newport. There is a lot of history here. We saw lots of old buildings and mansions from the 1700's-1800's period. The weather is cool but nice.
We took the (tender) back to the ship. We ate a snack and then we went to one of the 7 bars onboard to get a drink. We watched a modern version of "Cinderella" on the big screen in the "Atrium".
After the movie we walked the ship from deck five to deck 16 to see what is going on onboard. We both are pooped now.
We returned to our cabin to rest up from all of that walking. After we got our second burst of energy, we hit up another bar for a drink. We always try to visit each bar at least one when we cruise. Smile! Elise got a martini, and I got a mojito. They hit the spot and they were very good and potent.
We decided to have dinner at the restaurant called "Taste". Elise had clam chowder and bread. She is totally breaking her diet. She said that she feels like an alcoholic who quits for a while and then starts up again. It is great but it sucks at the same time. I know what she means.
After dinner we went to a musical called "Six" which the cast and the orchestra were all women. It was about the six wives of Henry the 8th. It was excellent!
After that we went to the "Atrium" to see "He Said, She Said". It was hilarious. Three couples were selected out of the audience to play this game. The married couples had to answer questions about each other.
After the game show we decided to call it game over for today. We got a nightcap of "White Russians" with vanilla ice cream. We slept very well.
