Good Night!

How has your day been? It has been a good one here in central Tucson. Elise and I painted a few more wrought iron doors today. Our next venture is to start on painting Chris's house.

It has been a good day and Jayne, Chris's caregiver was in good spirits today and Chris enjoyed her being here today. Thank you Jayne!

Elise and I went to see the movie "Eye In The Sky". It is a very good movie. Wow! Intense. We ordered dinner for tonight from" Bianci's Italian". I have to tell you the food there is good. I got a gluten-free pizza for Elise with mushrooms, sausage,jalapenos, and black olives. Elise loved it. I had Ziti ala Bianci's. It is delicious. We got it all down with a nice bottle of "Ruffino". We are stuffed again. Elise also baked some Pumpkin muffins that look delicious. Jane they are special ones the kind that you like. I am sure I will have one a little later. Smile!

Tomorrow we a joining Bobby, Elaine and John at "
Blue Willow for dinner. Have a wonderful evening and sleep well.

   It's a Thirsty Thursday! Can you say "ahhhhh"? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is really deep in her cave this morning and I am not sure when she will be putting feet to the floor. I bet that "Red Light Special" did her in. Jane don't go there because you know about that for sure. Smile! Any plans for today?

   The coffee is delicious and I will have some yogurt for breakfast. I am also going to hit the treadmill a bit later. I have got to keep it tight for Elise and my girlfriends. Right??

   I have no plans for today as of yet. As you know anything can happen here in the valley of the sun. Elise, Dottie, (the ex Queen of Keno) , and I the (King of Keno) had a very nice time at the DDC. It was a lot of fun, food, cocktails and slots. Did you hear those Cha Chings? I did!

JAYNE AND CHRIS. CHRIS IS CRAZY ABOUT THIS NUBIAN QUEEN.

Hey, how are you? The wind is blowing like crazy this morning and it is suppose to continue for a few more days. Hope you don't have allergies?

Well, David is here caring for Chris. I just finished doing some touch up painting on the shed around the house numbers. I also began taping windows on Chris's house as well. Whenever the wind quits we will resume our painting project.

I have a few things to pick up prior to us meeting Dottie the (Keno Queen) at the DDC. As soon as my playmate returns we be will out the door hoping for a Cha Ching! Loraine, keep listening for that sound.

I completed my treadmill session and now I am starving. This yogurt is not up to par this morning. I may have to have an egg, cheese, and sausage croissant. Yeah, that sound good to me.

   It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be making her way to the gym to swim. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is doing it's job and I will have some yogurt and a slice of toast for breakfast. I am also going to attack the treadmill this morning as well. David will be here this morning to care for Chris.

   We are all packed and ready to meet up with Dottie the (Keno Queen) at the DDC this evening. It will be an evening of slots, good food, cocktails (Jack), and plenty of cussing at the slots for sure. It is going to be fantastic!

   David will be caring for Chris overnight and Bobby will take over at 8:00am on Wednesday.

   We hope that your day goes well! Jane and John take note of the mentioned Knocked Boots! Did that happen before, after or during the movies? Smile!

Hey,it has been a very windy day. How was yours? 

I didn't get to paint because of the wind, but I did get my treadmill workout completed and it kicked my butt, smile!

Chris and I relaxed and watched TV this afternoon and we listened to the chimes ring. Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had homemade waffles, sausages and plenty of coffee to get it all down. It was delicious!

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise just left for her "Tucson Women's Chorus" practise. As soon as I get Chris settled and relaxed I will pack my suitcase for our short stay-cation at the DDC. I got an email from Dottie the (Keno Queen) and she is raring to go. We will meet up with her at the casino. Wish us luck! Cha Ching!
David will be here at 8:00am in the morning to care for Chris. We will leave him at 2:00pm. Bobby will take over for David at 8:00am on Wednesday.

Please if you could please say a prayer for Rosemary. She used to be a caregiver for Chris. She is having surgery tomorrow to remove a tumor in her lung. All of your prayers will be appreciated greatly. Thank you.

Hey, how is your Monday going so far?  I just got back from taking care of my errands and soon I will be walking through the hood with Chris before it turns real windy.

I just enjoyed a small breakfast and in a few minutes I will hit the treadmill. I am also going to do a little touch up painting on the shed.

   It's a Monday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and about shortly. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is doing it's job nicely. I will have some yogurt for breakfast and a sausage croissant as well. Yummy! I will hit the treadmill after I take care of a quick errand this morning.

   How was your Easter Sunday! Elise and I met up with the crew at "Zemams for dinner. The food was excellent and we downed almost 4 bottles of red. Paula and Marty introduced us to a 4 blend red that was excellent and 15.5 on the alcohol scale. Nice! There was a total of 8 of us and what a great bunch. Shoo, Stu, Paula, Marty, Elise, Me and two new additions to our crew. Fantastic evening!

   Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good Monday and be very careful when you are out and about.

   My playmate and I are going to go to the DDC for an overnight perk stay tomorrow. David will be here to care for Chris. This will be a maiden overnight stay for him. We will stay in constant contact with him. We are going to be joined by Dottie the (Keno Queen) at the DDC as well. Cha Ching hopefully. Smile!

How are you doing on this lovely Easter Sunday? Elise and I had a very nice breakfast at the "Egg Connection". 

Elise cared for Chris after Donna completed his massage. I was outside doing a little bit of yard work and clean up in the front yard. Whew, it almost did me in, smile!

I am caring for Chris now. My playmate just left for the annual family dinner up in the foothills. We are looking forward to meeting up with the crew at Zemam's this evening.

I am going to re-supply and stock Chris's room shortly and then I will get him up and we will relax and watch a little TV. Have a quiet Easter.

   It's a Easter Sunday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am getting Chris settled for Elise. She will be over shortly to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

   I am waiting on the coffee to finish with my cup next to me. We are going to the "Egg Connection" for breakfast this morning. Donna will be here this morning to give Chris a massage.

   Normally we would be going to the foothills for Easter Dinner and we usually take Chris along, but we don't have coverage to take him there so Elise will make an appearance and I will care for Chris.

   I am going to hit the treadmill when we return from breakfast while Donna is here. We are going to meet up with the crew at "Zemams" for dinner this evening. It is always a good time there. Good food, plenty of vino, and loads of laughs. See you tonight crew members.

 I would like to take this time to say "Happy Easter" to all of our family and friends. From our family to yours have a blessed day.

Well,the Oregon Ducks lost to Oklahoma. So the Pac 12 is totally out of the picture this year.

Elise and I are two stuffed pigs. Yes we are. We had an excellent dinner this evening. We had about 3 cocktails apiece, we enjoyed Yellow Tail fish filet's that we got from Bucky and Dena, we had french fries and all of the condiments that go along with such a fine dinner. To top that off Bobby prepared some Hominy that was oh so good. Thank you Bobby!

After we cleaned up the kitchen and watched an episode of a series on Netflix. We both waddled into the bedroom to stretch out and read. It was only 7:15pm. Next thing I heard was the sound of my playmate sounding like a foghorn and I did not blame her because I wanted to join in as well. I could not until after the caregiver left for the night and I checked on Chris.

Now I am going to grab a small glass of water and I am going to start a duet with Elise. Have a great night and sleep well.

    It's the Weekend! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave but she will be on the move shortly. Any plans for today?

    The coffee just finished brewing and my cup is at the ready. I will have some yogurt for breakfast this morning. My playmate and I had a wonderful breakfast yesterday at "Gus Balones". Delicious!

     David will be here this morning to care for Chris and Jayne will be here this evening. We are home bound today because we are going to watch the Oregon Ducks play basketball this afternoon. Go Ducks! Never thought we would be saying that because we are devout "Wildcat" fans. We should say Go Pac 12.

    I am going to hit the treadmill this morning and I am going to paint the face of the shed to get an idea how it is going to look. That if it does not get windy like it was a day or so ago.

    We had a grand time at "La Parrilla Suiza" yesterday evening during Happy Hour. It was unusually packed but that was fine. We enjoyed 3 margaritas apiece and we had salsa and chips, and the family size Queso and tortillas. It was delicious! We were stuffed and ready to take a nap. Smile!

   After Happy Hour went over to the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play " One Slight Hitch". It was hilarious and very well done. It was a laugh a minute and the actors were great. We recommend this one for sure.

   Well, I had better check on Chris before I hit the treadmill. Have a great weekend and a very Happy Easter.

    It's a TGIF! Sup? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but she is tossing about so she will be on the move soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and I will have some yogurt for breakfast or we might even go to "Gus Balones".

    Elise is dropping her Pruis off at the dealer for a service this morning. We will go out to the airbase so I can update some paperwork and renew my ID. I also need to pick up a couple of surge protectors as well.

    Well, the Oregon Ducks beat Duke. Wow, what a game. The Ducks are the only PAC 12 team left in the tournament. Go Ducks!

    Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris. My playmate and I are going to "La Parrilla Suiza" for Happy Hour. Can you say margarita? We will several times. After Happy Hour we are going to the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play "One Slight Hitch". It got rave reviews and we are looking forward to it.

    Well, I had better get to it. Have a good "TGIF".

Well, I did some taping of the shed doors and now I am ready to paint. Hopefully I can begin on Saturday if the weather holds out and there is no wind.

My playmate painted another wrought iron door on Chris's house. Hey, she is getting very good at this task. I am going to watch a little TV up until it is time for me to go to my class on the east side of Tucson.

    The coffee just finished brewing and it is very good. I will enjoy some yogurt for breakfast and later I will hit the treadmill. Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris and Bobby will be here this afternoon.

    I have a few errands to take care of this morning while Jayne is here. I also have to attend a medical class this afternoon at 2:30pm. I am dozing off already, smile!

   Elise and I had a bout of senility yesterday at the same time. Amazing! We went to the movies to see "Zootopia" and as soon as it started we both said we have already seen it. Yes, we saw it when we were up in Gilbert visiting Sheila. Isn't that just nuts? Jane don't go there! Smile. We enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

   My playmate and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at "Relish" last night. We started off with two different wine flights. They were very good. Elise ordered the baby back ribs and I had the Mongolian pork chop that was delicious. We both were stuffed. We both shared some mussels as an appetizer. 

   We are home bound this evening so will chill and rest up. Have a wonderful Thirsty Thursday.

How are you doing? I am good. I completed my errands and I took the photo of the day as well.

I just got off of the treadmill and it kicked my butt good. It has been over a week since I have been on it, but rest assured I will hit it daily from now on unless we are away on a stay-cation or something. I am feeling good though and I could slap and tickle a bit if you get my drift? Smile! Jane, Jane don't go there. Wait a minute I bet that you already have, smile! I bet you are smiling too!

Jayne will be here soon and Elise and I are going to the movies. I think that we are going to see "Zootopia". I need the laughs after that treadmill workout. Yeah  Mon'.

Elise and I are going to "Relish" for dinner this evening. We like it there and they offer a good selection of wine flights and we are going to explore the possibilities for sure. Have a great afternoon.

  Elise brought me back a very nice dinner last night. I enjoyed a nice Gyro with fries and a salad. It was delicious. I got it down with a Warsteiner and a Peroni. They were ice cold and ahhhh! I am a lucky guy let me tell you.

Hey, how was your Tuesday? I got everything done that I had planned. It has been a windy one here in Tucson for most of the day.

Chris and I relaxed while we watched TV. We were out in the backyard with the fur-babies as well, until we wore them out. Wimps!

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is at her book club meeting at Fromino's. She is going to bring back a Gyro for my dinner. I will be ready for it with a nice ice cold "Warsteiner". Yeah!

I was giving my playmate the (frisky eye) before she left for her book club meeting. I must be in a mood because I wanted to play doctor, smile! I diagnosed that she has (TB). Jane, don't go there, smile. Yes, she has (TB), tight body. Jane you went there didn't you? WooHoo! Yep I am in a good mood.

Hey, how was your day? It has been a nice quiet one here in the valley of Tucson. It is a warm one as well.

Chris and I relaxed today. We hit the hood for a bit and we watched TV this afternoon. Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had French toast, sausages, and plenty of coffee to get it all down. JT said that he was having pork chops, green beans and mashed potatoes. I chip off the old block, eh?

I am caring for Chris this evening and my playmate is going to the "Tucson Women's Chorus" practice.

Tomorrow is the start to another milestone heading my way. I will review my Bucket List and revise it as needed. I am going to change my attitude about many things that must be tweeked by 29 April. Some of the changes will be minor but others will be major. Let the good times roll!

   It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 6:30am caring for Chris. Elise was up and about before me this morning. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and I will have some yogurt for breakfast. It is going to be a hot one here in Tucson today. It is going to be 90 degrees out there. It is going to be a very hot time this year for sure, so get ready.

   I have no plans for today but that can change quickly. We had a fantastic evening with Bucky and Dena last night. We went over to celebrate Kim's birthday day but she was too tired from working so many hours at the hospital.

  It was good to see Bucky and Dena. We had a very, very nice dinner that consisted of a nice salad, curried shrimp over rice, and lobster tails. Yes, I said lobster tails! Chef Bucky brought his (A) game last night without a doubt. It was delicious. Dena prepared a very nice and refreshing fruit dessert that was spot on.

   It's a Sunday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be over soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is brewing and I am ready for it. We are going to the "Egg Connection" for breakfast this morning. Donna will be here to give Chris a massage as well.

   We had a very nice dinner at "Maynard's" last night. Elise enjoyed a martini and a nice Pinor and I had a couple Texas Mule's. They were very refreshing. We shared a spinach salad and a some Pomme Frits. Elise's main course was a very nice mushroom spinach risotto, and I had the brind double pork chop with polenta. It was delicious and the portion was so big I had to get a (doggie bag). We finished off the meal with some coffee.

   We walked over to the "Arizona Theater Company to see the live play "Of Mice and Men". I have to tell you is was very, very good and the acting was superb. The standing ovation was well deserved. The theater was packed and the play left you in awe. Wow, a wonderful show.

   We are going to Kim's birthday dinner this evening at Bucky and Dena's home downtown. It should be a good evening. Have a wonderful day and enjoy.

   It's the Weekend! Sup? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so that means she will be on the move soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and I have my cup at the ready. I will have some yogurt for breakfast. We have a few errands to take care of to include going out to the airbase. We also need to get our cars washed as well.

   We had a great evening last night Susie at "Cody's Beef and Bean". We shared a large carafe of "Burgundy" at room temperature. Susie had the rib eye and shrimp, Elise enjoyed the T-bone special, and I was extra hungry so I got the Porterhouse and it was delicious. We had a chat about politics, and past and upcoming travel adventures. A wonderful evening with a very free spirit friend.

   This evening we are going to have dinner at "Maynard's" downtown. We have not been there in quite some time. After dinner we are going the the "Arizona Theater Company" to see the live play "Of Men and Mice". We have read the book and Shoo and Stu said the play is excellent and the acting is superb.

How are things going? Well, my morning was shot due to the cable people decided to come by to work on and relocate the cable for the house. I was going to get the Fiat 500L washed but now it will have to wait.

I see that California is losing and so is Oregon St. I hope that your day is going well so far? I am going to get myself something to drink before I venture outside with Chris.

   The coffee  is good and I will have some yogurt for breakfast. It is another nice morning here in the Old Pueblo. Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris.

   We are going to have dinner this evening at "Cody's Beef and Bean". We will be joined by Susie the (world traveler). My playmate and I will be enjoying the T-bone special with the works. Of course some red will be enjoyed as well.

   We had a fantastic evening with Shoo and Stu last night. Wow we enjoyed corned beef and cabbage and beer. It was delicious! We played "Mahjong" and the big winner was the (cat). Even though Elise and I were sporting our ("I Love Mahjong") tee's. Everyone won a game except me. I blew it when I was sure I was going to win, but I screwed up. Don't go there Jane! I blame it on the fantastic meal because I was stuffed and going in and out of sleep, smile. That is my excuse and I am sticking to it. Once again Jane don't go there.
