Good Night

Another day had ended here in the Old Pueblo, and the moon is huge and shining bright tonight. We had a good breakfast this morning at Bobo's and it was packed. Later in the day we shot some baskets in the backyard.,

After that we played archery on the Wii before we watched the Cat's play Texas. It was a very good game and a nail biter, but we won and now we are in the Sweet
Sixteen. Go Cat's.

Elise fixed BLT's for dinner and they were great. We washed it down with Gruet Champagne. After Rosemary arrived to care for Chris we went to the movies to see Limitless and it was pretty good.

We are about to call it a night. I will check on Chris after Rosemary leaves for the night. Have a great evening. Beware tomorrow is Monday.

How are you? I started the day off at 5:30am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be over to care for Chris this morning as soon as the the chirping birds wake her up. Now that is loud chirping, smile. Any plans for today?

We had a wonderful evening at Zemems with Paula and Marty. The food was great and the vine was plentiful. It is always a pleasure to hear about what is going in their lives. It was a saddening moment we we first arrived at Zemems because my thoughts went to Mum not being there and the feeling was uncanny.

We returned home and we watched a old movie called the "Marathon Man" with a very young Dustin Hoffman. I had seen it many years ago but Elise never did and she enjoyed it. We are going to go out for breakfast this morning to a place called "Bobo's" we have not been there in what seems like ages.

Well, I had better grab another cup of coffee and kick start this day. Have a great Sunday.

Hello,

How are things moving along? Well, I am still having puter problems and I guess I will have to somebody come out to check things over. It is a very nice day here in the Old Pueblo, nice and sunny and plenty of birds singing about.

Here are a the only photos that we took in Vegas inside our room at the Monte Carlo. The other photos were taken this morning of some of the tulips that Elise planted last year and they are coming up real nice. Also that is Lampchop posing after her bath this morning. Porkchop refused to have his picture taken after his bath. It must be a guy dog thing,eh?

How are you? I started the day off at 5:05am looking in on Chris. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning as soon as her eyes pop open, smile. Any plans for today? The coffee is good and hot this morning and maybe that will get me going.

We had a very nice time in Vegas. We stayed at the Monte Carlo and it is very nice place. We got invited there because we are M-Life Players Members so our room was comped. The food there is very good and we loved the prime rib at the steak house.

We broke even on the slots and we had a lot of fun playing them. We walked the strip and we stopped in a few of the casinos along the way. We got two for one VIP tickets to see Frank Caliendo the comedian who has been to Tucson several times. Our VIP tickets got us right up front on the aisle of the third row, great seats. We did run into a problem with the ticketing but one of the managers got it all worked out for us.

We rested for the most part and we enjoyed our trip over the bypass bridge. It cuts off at least 30 minutes of the drive. On our way back we stopped at one of the casinos near Hoover Dam just to check it out. We arrived back in Tucson and we stopped in Oro Valley for pizza, wings and vino at Picasso's Pizza. Let me tell you it was delicious. We got home and we unpacked and we called it game over. It was a very nice, but short trip.

We watched our Cat's win again at basketball and now they will play Texas on Sunday. Go Cat's! We also went to the Desert Diamond Casino to pick up our perks. We downed a few Jack's and we played the slots. We had fun but no luck this time, maybe next time, eh? Well I had better go and check on Chris. Elise just left to go swimming. Have a great day.

Another day has come to a close and it has been pretty good for a Monday. Chris and I took it slow and easy today. We watched a DVD called "Deja Vu" with Elise this afternoon and she enjoyed it. I had seen it before, but it was still good.

Elise prepared soup for dinner and we watched Mash on DVD with Chris. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is catching up on a few things. We are all packed and ready to hit the road in the morning after Rosemary arrives to care for Chris.

Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a great evening and we will chat a you when we return. Wish us luck, eh? $$$$$$$$

Beware you know what day it is right? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is floating in the clouds this morning but as soon as the birds start to sing she will be up and taking charge. Any plans for today?

We had a wonderful evening with Bucky and Dena and they prepared a fantastic meal and the vino was plentiful. We were glad to see Kim and we meet her boyfriend Adrian. They make a very nice couple.

We had pork tenderloin, french fried sweet potatoes, slaw and asparagus. For dessert we had cheesecake with strawberries and whip cream, wow it was very good. After dinner the conversation drifted into politics and at times the discussions got a bit heated,but that is the norm. I love listening to the conversations but I never mix politics with a good meal, never,smile!

We returned home and I checked on Chris and we called it a night. We are all packed for our trip to Vegas and it should be fun. Well another cup of coffee is in sight and I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good day and stay safe and healthy. We enjoyed our breakfast out with our daughter Kim at the Egg Connection and it was good the hear how things are going for her at school and at work.

How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning as soon as she falls through a cloud or two, smile. Any plans for today?

We are going out for breakfast this morning at the Egg Connection. We will be joined by our daughter Kim. Can you say chicken fried steak and eggs? I can and will. After breakfast I am going on the airbase to get a haircut. I am starting to get a little long around the ears.

After Rosemary arrives to care for Chris this evening we will be going over to Bucky and Dena's for dinner a game or two of Wizard. I have my clothes layed out for our short visit to Las Vegas and I will pack my suitcase tomorrow sometime. We enjoyed the play last night at the ATC. I was very, good and it got a standing ovation that was deserved.

Well, I had better get another cup of coffee and check on Chris. Have a great day and beware tomorrow is a Monday.

How are you? I started the day of at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning after she comes out of hibernation, smile. Any plans for today?

I have to run a couple of errands sometime today and we are going out for dinner to "Rio Cafe". The food is good there and is priced just right. After dinner we are going to the Arizona Theatre Company to see a play called "Lost In Yonkers". We have seen it done before at the "Live Theatre" but we want to compare how each group does it differently. It got great reviews in the newspaper.

Also sometime today we will begin to pre-pack for our mini-vacation to Las Vegas. The main purpose of this trip is to drive over the new bridge that was completed a few months ago. We have watched it's progression for many years. We will be leaving on Tuesday morning and we will return on Thursday. We will be staying at the Monte Carlo this time.

We had a great evening out with Linda at "Elle's Wine Bistro". The food was excellent and the vino was awesome. Elise and Linda got the special which was a white fish and mashed potatoes. I got a pasta dish a petite size and it was great. I should have gotten the regular size. After dinner Linda joined us at home so she could see all of Mum's photos and items that we had out for her celebration. She also got to read comments in Mum's memorial book that people wrote about her. It was good to see Lind and to find out what she and Louis have been up too.

Well, I had better grab another cup of coffee and jump start this day. Have a great weekend. Our Cat's will play tonight, they are doing great. Go Cat's!

TGIF!! How are you? I started the day off at 5:05am caring for Chris. Elise is running smoothly this morning and she will be up very soon shuffling cards. Any plans for today?

I will be taking Chris to a doctors appointment early this morning. He loves going to this doctors office because he likes to pinch and play with the nurse. Yep, you heard me right, he is all male, smile. Lucky guy, smile.

We had a very nice dinner at Leo's last night with Lois, Lee and Toni. The food and the Margarita's are great there. It was once again a bit strange being there because Mum was not there ordering her tacos, beans, rice and a Miller's Lite in a frosted mug. Lois made mention of that someone is missing.

We returned home and we played Wii for a short while. After Rosemary left for the night we called it in as well. We are going to a place called Elle's for dinner tonight after Marv arrives to care for Chris. We will be meeting Linda there and it should be a lot of fun.

Well, I had better get to work and get Chris set for his appointment. Have a good Friday and stay happy, safe and sound.

How are you doing? I started the day of at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is counting stars this morning but as soon as the sun shows up she will be on the move. We were awaken this morning at about 1:30am by the dogs barking and running back and forth in the yard. I got up to see what the deal was and I didn't see a thing. Elise said that she thinks she heard people talking. So that explains why I am sleepy this morning with a headache coming on. Any plans for today?

Chris and Elise will be getting a massage this morning from Donna. After Rosemary arrives to care for Chris we are going to go to Leo's for dinner with Lois, Toni and Lee. It is sure going to feel strange without Mum with us there. She would have had three tacos, beans and a Miller's Lite in a frosted mug, smile.

How did your day go? Things went well here in Tucson. Elise and I went to the movies to see Adjustment Bureau and it was very good. After that we stopped in Home Depot to get s few items to repair screen doors.

We returned home for a short while and then we went to the Outback for dinner. Elise had the fillet, baked potato, salad and vino. I had a rib eye, baked potato, salad and vine. We both had two glasses of red and we shared chicken wings. For dessert we both had a Bellini, that was excellent.

We returned home and Elise called it a night. I watched TV until the caregiver left for the night and I called it game over as well. Have a great evening and sleep and dream well.
