Good Night

Good Night All,

It has been another good day here in Tucson. Chris and I watched our Wildcats beat UCLA. What a very good game, GO CATS! I recorded the game so Elise could watch after see returned from playing bridge.

Elise prepared some risotto and grilled chicken for dinner that was excellent. Elise is very tired this evening and she fixed herself a Martini to wind down a bit. She is still in pain from her dental work she got a couple of days ago. We played a game on the laptop and it was a lot of fun.

Elise is headed to bed to read and I will stay up until Rosemary the caregiver leaves for the evening. I will check on Chris and I will call it a night as well. We hope that your day was a blessed one?

Nite all.............................

Good Night Jeanne.

Claudia, did you get to read the email that I sent to you today?

We had a very nice dinner last night and we ate like Javelina's. The pinto beans and ham cubes, and cornbread was to die for. Marv cared for Chris last night while Elise and I watched the DVD Road To Rodanthe with Diane Lane and Richard Gere, it was very good and the ending was very surprising. After Marv left for the night I checked on Chris before we called it a night.

I will record this game so Elise can watch it if they win, because she will be playing bridge at that time. Nite

Good Night,

How has you Hump Day gone? It has been a pretty fair day here in Tucson. Elise and I played a new game on the computer today that was a lot of fun. Elise prepared a very nice dinner of tamales, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, jalapenos, refried beans and of course plenty of cold beer, Excellent dinner!

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is catching up on filing paperwork a chore she hates with a passion. The winds have stopped and the day turned out to be a bit warmer and I hope that it continues. I am a bit upset that I didn't receive a notarized letter that should have been here by now. I hope that it shows up tomorrow.

Well, I had better get busy and get Chris settled for the night. Have a good evening all, stay safe. God Bless!

The coffee is very good this morning and it is doing the trick of warming me up. I think I will have some toast along with it this morning. I want to thank everyone who responded to the 2009 list and the Bucket list as well. I enjoyed your answers very much and it shows that we all have many things in common with each other.

Good Night

Good Night,

We hope that your day went well? It is still cold here in Tucson and the wind is still blowing. It is supposed to be in the lower 20's tonight with the possibility of snow and frost.

We went to our tax appointment this afternoon and that went well. Afterward I took Elise's Mom back home and then Elise and I went to Starbucks for some Frappacino's. They were great! I am caring of Chris this evening and Elise is at her Mom's playing bridge. I hope that it warms up real soon, this is not Tucson weather at all.

We had breakfast for dinner this evening. Elise prepared homemade blueberry waffles that were fantastic. We had sausages and of course good hot, steamy coffee. Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a great evening all.

Nite.............................

Steph, so good to hear from you today. Hang in there with the workouts, the pain will stop soon, smile.

How is everything going this morning? I started today at 5:40am caring for Chris and getting his day started. I have my coffee right next to me and it is very good. Elise is up and out swimming this morning. It is a cold morning here in the Old Pueblo. We are going through a mixed bag of weather lately. It was windy last night and it rained as well. It is supposed to get colder tonight and stay that way for a few days.

It is also supposed to snow in the mountains and we may get some down here in the valley. No plans for today except that I have to run to my office to turn in some paperwork and we are going to have our taxes done this afternoon when Brent arrives to care for Chris. We may stop in at Starbucks and that will be a treat for us. Well, I had better get busy and tend to Chris. Have a great day everyone.

Hello

Hello Everyone,

Mood: Cautious

Music listening to: Jazz Melody

How has everyone been doing? We are good here in a very cold Tucson. We have rain, wind, snow the works. Not typical Old Pueblo weather. We have been very busy the last few days and that is the reason for no blog entries. We missed you guys let me tell you.

On the 24th of Jan 09 we left for Apache Junction, AZ to visit with Elaine and Esteban. We stopped off at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. We stopped in to see JT in Tempe on our way to visit Elaine and Esteban but he was not at home. We arrived at Elaine's at around 2:30pm and we had to get out of our sweatshirts because it was 80 degrees outside.

Elaine got home from work and Esteban followed right behind her, it was good to see them. We talked for a bit and then we had dinner that Esteban prepared just for me. He prepared enchiladas because I love them so much. They were the best I have ever had. We also had chili that Elaine made it was great. Esteban had beer with his meal and Elise, Elaine and I shared a bottle of Flying Fish Merlot that we love a lot. After dinner we sat outside by the fire and talked and gazed at the stars. It was a great evening.

We got up the next day and Esteban and Elaine had left for work but they had made a pot of coffee for us. Elaine also made a quiche and some homemade bread for us for breakfast. Afterward we took a walk around the area and we looked at the homes there. We packed up the pickup and we went by to see if JT was at home and he was not so we left another note for him. We headed for Cave Creek, Arizona.

We checked into our hotel and we had a couple of Jack and cokes before we got dressed for the wedding reception. We played a few computer games as well while we were waiting to depart for the reception. We arrived at the reception and it was very nice. We met Erin and her husband Nathan. The reception was held at a place called Blowfish a Teppan/Sushi place. The food was very good. We had calamari, shrimp, sushi, fried rice and all of the wine we could handle. I was driving so I had to set a limit. We a lot of people and got to see many people that we have not seen in quite a while. It was a lot of fun.

We left Tempe at 11:00am after taking a a walk and having breakfast at Denny's. We left for Tucson and we stopped along the way at a Mall so Elise could buy a new watchband at Targets. We arrived back in Tucson and we unpacked and we went to the movies the see Revolutionary Road with Di Capprio and Kate Winslet it was very good. Afterward we went to Oreganos for pizza and wine and we topped that of with a Bellini each that was great. It was a good trip but not as relaxing as our trips are. I was a bit hectic trying to catch JT to talk about his problems.

Since we have been back we have been very busy with a variety of things that need to be done. It is always good to go on these short trips but it is always a pleasure to come back home. We missed you guys very much!!

Later..........................
