Well, how has your Monday been? It has been a pretty quite one here in central Tucson. The weather has been perfect today and I hope that tomorrow is a repeat.

Chris and I got plenty of rest today, and that is always a plus. Bobby was here today doing some work on our flagstone in the backyard. It is some backbreaking work and very time consuming. Bobby will return tomorrow to finish up the job. I hope that he doesn't stiffen up during the night. Ouch!

Elise prepared some very nice soup and sandwiches for dinner this evening. We watched a few episodes of "West Wing" with Chris.

I am caring for Chris this evening. Elise is at the "Tucson Women's Chorus" practice. Well, I hope that your day was a pleasant one?

    It's a Monday! What's up? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave so she will be up and about soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is very good! It is Kona coffee, we love it. I will make a banana,peanut butter and whey smoothie very soon. Yes, it will be extra thick, smile!

    Elise and I had a very good breakfast yesterday at the "Egg Connection". Every now and again we pick out a diner and we secretly pay for his or he breakfast. We choose an elderly man who was sitting alone.It gives you a good feeling when you do something like that. It is called (Pay It Forward).

    We saw a movie at the "Loft" last night titled "Concussion". It is a movie about female relationships and it's ups and downs. It is very good.

    Bobby is here this morning cleaning our Flagstone in the backyard. it is going to be a two day or more task.

    I will post more photos of our trip to the mountains later this morning. Please keep those prayers going for my dear Jet, thank you so very much.

    Well, I had better go and check on Chris. Have a good day.

It's A Sunday!

    It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning as soon as she can stop talking to her pillow, smile! Any plans for today?

     Elise and I went to breakfast this morning at the "Egg Connection". The food was as good as always there. Elise and I picked out a diner at the "Egg Connection" this morning to buy his or her meal while we were there. We do this now and again and it makes us feel very good inside. We choose an elderly guy who was eating alone, so we called the waitress over (Libby) and we asked for his check.  We paid the check as we were walking out the door. We are sure that he appreciated it very much.

     While Elise is caring for Chris I had to run a few errands on the airbase. I returned and I did a bit of yard work behind  Chris's house.

     I want to thank everyone who sent up prayers for my dear friend and sister. She is back at home but the diagnosis is not good at all. So please continue to send those prayers for her. Her name is Jet.

    It is a sad day for me because the same illness took my Mom away from my brothers and I. It brought back many memories and pain for me to the point I was in tears this morning when I got the news.

    Well, Elise and I had  very good meal at the DDC buffet last night. The slots were not kind to us at all, but we had a lot of fun hoping and wishing. As was there next to me I was happy to win or loss because time together is very precious. Thank you Elise for being who you are and for helping me punch out those slots.

    This evening after Rosemary arrives to care for Chris we are going to the "Loft" to see a movie titled "Concussion".

   It's the Weekend! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning,but she will be making a move very soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is working nicely this morning and I will prepare a salad for lunch. It is a bit cool this morning here in Tucson. It is 52 degrees right now.

   We had a very nice dinner last night at "Cody's Beef and Bean". We met up with Bobby, Richard, and Vivian. Lila my date was with Elise and I. The food was as good as always. The Burgundy was spot on, too!

    Lila was admiring my US Army ring that was a gift from Elise. I think that was just an excuse so she could hold my hand for a bit. Smile! Hey, when you got it flaunt it, right? Smile!

    Elise and I are going to the DDC this evening for the dinner buffet and to pull a few slots, and of course we will throw back a few Jack and Coke. Got to do that!

Howdy!             

Well, Chris and I are back at home. His follow-up appointment went very well. He was also very happy and flirty with his favorite nurse.

I just finished making my banana, chocolate and whey smoothie and it is so good and extra, extra thick. Delicious!

We saw the movie "Rush" yesterday and it is very good. Lot's of racing action, drinking, smoking, and plenty of Gin Rummy. Our kind of movie!

Last evening we also played "Mahjongg" here with Bobby. It was a lot of fun. Elise won 2 games, I won 2 games and Bobby won nada.

We are going out to dinner this evening at "Cody's Beef and Beans". It will be Elise and I, Bobby, another couple that Bobby is going to introduce us to, and my date Lila. Elise and I will pick her up at around 5:00pm or so. Angelica will be here caring for Chris. Hey, Lila is sticking to me like glue and it feels rather good, smile!

We are planning on going out the DDC tomorrow evening for dinner buffet and to pull a few slots. I have some perks to pick as well. Cha Ching! Above are a few pics from our trip to the mountains.

    It's a Thirsty Thursday! What is up? I started the day off at 4:30am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning and she is up and moving about. Yes, you read that right! Smile! Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and hot and my salad is waiting in the fridge. It is very windy here this morning and we are supposed to get some rain but I doubt that. Angelica is here caring for Chris this morning and Rosemary will be here this afternoon.

    Elise and I are taking the Tacoma and Chris's van in for oil changes this morning as well. Chris and Elise will be getting a massage from Donna this morning too!

     Elise and I have our Murder Mystery Dinner costumes already to go. We picked them up down on 4th Avenue yesterday. After that we hit up "Oregano's" for some vino, wings, pizza, and of course "Bellini's.

     We are going to El Con Mall this afternoon to see a movie. Later in the evening we will be playing a cut throat game of "Mahjong" with Bobby.

     Well, I had better get ready to get the Tacoma and the van in for service. Have a great day and be careful out there.

   It's a Humper! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave but she is stirring about,but I don't think she will be up anytime soon. Any plans for today!

   The coffee is great and my small salad is in the fridge. I am going to prepare myself an orange smoothie extra thick as well. Yeah!

   We had a very nice evening last night with my date Lila. She came to pick us up and she gave me a big smile and she grabbed my hand and she held on tight. I wonder if Elise noticed that? Smile! It seems I am gaining the favor and the interest of the ladies,eh? Don't get me wrong I am not complaining one bit! I hope that they don't all meet up at the same time, smile! That could be a problem, eh?

   We had a very nice dinner at "La Placita" and the margaritas were good too! I was prepared to pay the check but "Lila" was quick and she grabbed it up and she took care of it. Wow,nice but what have I gotten myself into,smile! Bobby was caring for Chris while we were out to dinner.

   We returned home and we said our good-nights and thank yous. Elise and I continued playing a game of "Scrabble" that we had started earlier. A bit of advice is in order here. Don't play "Scrabble" with a teacher because it is a no win situation. It was a beat-down!

    Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. That will free up Elise and I to go shopping for our Mystery Dinner costumes. We are going to a couple of places down on 4th Avenue, and we may grab something to eat while we are there.

    Well, I had better get busy. Have a great "Hump Day" and stay safe.

    It's a Tricky Tuesday! Sup? I started the day off at 4:55am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and on the move very soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is superb and a small salad is in order for later in the morning. It is a nice 64 degrees here in Tucson.  Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris.

    No plans for today as of yet, but we are going to be taken out to dinner by Lila. You remember Lila she is the only lady that Elise allows me to date. Hey, I must be doing something right, eh? Smile! Bobby will be here this evening to care for Chris.

    Elise and I are going to start our costume search tomorrow for the upcoming Murder Mystery Dinner that will take place in November. It is going to be a good one for sure.

    Well, I had better get to it. I am still going over the pictures from our stay-cation and I am trying to get the videos that I took to work as well. Have a good one.

Good Afternoon!

What's up? Well, I got a very good report from my lab tests and I am good to go. I am kicking myself a little bit though. I gained two pounds over the past four months and must do something about that quickly. Maybe more Gin Rummy games, eh? Smile!

I go back in another four months for another check and a physical as well. It is a very nice 87 degrees here in Tucson right now with a slight breeze.

I am going thorough the pictures that we took while we were in the "Chiricahua's" over the weekend. We had such a good time and we are already talking about planning another visit there.

Chris and I are about to cruise the neighborhood to see how things are going here in central Tucson. Here are a few pics of some of the bidders and shakers helping Elise set up the cards for last Friday's Marathon Bridge game.

    It's a Monday! What's up? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave but she is stirring about so she will be up soon maybe,smile! Any plans for today?

    The Kona coffee is excellent this morning and I will make myself a smoothie a little later. We had a great time in the "Chiricahua" mountains with Sheila. I will post more about that later. I have to get myself ready an early morning doctors appointment to go over my recent lab work. 

    So I had better get busy. I will chat at you when I return. My appointment is at 8:00am.
