Buon Mercoledi! Hump Day! How are you doing? It is a nice, sunny morning here in Tucson. Any plans for today?
The coffee is a good Colombian Blend, and a second cup will be downed later this morning. Alexa is awake and she said that today is going to be a busy one. I asked her to play some music to cook by.
Yes, today is Chefs Day. My Sous Chef and I will be smoking up the (cucina) again. Today's fare is going to be an Air Fryer Pork Tenderloin, with Mashed Potatoes. My Sous will select the proper libation to go with the meal.
I have a couple of errands to run today. I will also begin the process of getting my Passport renewed online.
Mia Moglie just left for her Tai Chi class at Himmel Park. She will also be attending one of her book club meetings on Zoom this afternoon.
Here is what happened on 13 Feb on the Jade. Enjoy!
We got up at 8:30am. We slept very well because we both were exhausted. We got dressed and we went to the Garden Cafe for breakfast.
We had freshly prepared omelets, they are excellent. After breakfast we hit up the casino before it got crowed and smokey. We played Keno Slots and we won enough to break even.
We returned to our cabin for a bit to decide what we were going to do today. We decided to purchase excursion tickets for the Panama Experience. This excursion takes you through the (locks) up close. This was done on a ferry boat. It wasn't cheap. $189.00 per person, but we've come this far, we might as well see it up close.
We returned to the casino to play for a bit. We ate at Sheehan's Irish Pub. We walked around the lap path on Deck Seven for over a mile.
We watched people play Pickleball on Deck 12. After that we rested and watched the ocean with a drink in hand.
Later this evening we are going to Jade Theater to see a magician/comedian show. The theater was packed and the show was very good.
After the show we went to the Bliss Lounge to watch and listen to Karaoke. We always enjoy this, as people are not always the best singers, but they think they are. It was great!
We returned to our cabin, and we called it day over.
