Ciao!
How are you doing? I just got back from my Wellness Check with our doctor, and all is great. As a matter of fact, I am getting younger every year. I have been telling Mia Moglie that for decades.
Our dear friend Rebecca is here from Arivaca,AZ for a visit. She is looking good.
Here is what happened on 20 Feb in Costa Rica. Enjoy! We did.
We started our day at 5:45am so we could be ready for our tour. We just grabbed a cup of coffee because we had to meet up in the "Bliss Theater" for our tour bus.
The ride took about 45 minutes and then we hiked to a rainforest area. We walked through the forest until we got to a suspension bridge that sways when you walk on it. It was suspended above the forest. As a matter of fact, we walked over 3 suspension bridges.
We didn't see any wildlife, but you heard them below. We heard Cicadas, birds and possibly monkeys. We visited a Butterfly Sanctuary, that was so cool. We walked and they would be flying all around you. Costa Rica is big on conservation, and that is great. It was a very tiring day, and it was about forty or so of us on the tour.
We returned to the Jade and we rested a bit. We went to the "Garden Cafe" for a late lunch. Mia Moglie had a salad and a slice of pizza. I got a roll and loaded it with 3 different kinds of cold cuts. Delicious!
Later in the evening we watched the ship leave the dock. We also watched the sun go down from our balcony.
At 6:30pm we went to the "Bliss Theater" to watch a live "Motown Show", that was excellent. The theater was packed. Even I had to get up to clap and shake my (groove) thang along with everyone else. Wonderful!
After the show we hit up one of the bars for a couple of "White Russians" that were spot on. We added some soft serve ice cream to them, and we took them back to our cabin.
It was the grand finale for the day. It was game over. Another great day on the Jade.
