Mood: Relaxed
It's a Monday!! What's Up? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning and I think that she will be extending her hibernation time this morning. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and I am thinking about a nice hot bowl of oats. I have a early morning doctor visit this morning. It is a routine visit is all.
Well, our visitor from Colorado arrived yesterday afternoon and it was good to see him again. He is making Tucson his home and that is a good thing. We all talked about many things and now we are up to date.
Elise prepared some killer homemade tacos, and they were so good. So that it makes you want to slap something, smile! We also had all of the fixings to go along with it. Salsa, tomatoes, lettuce, onions, cheese and of course guacamole. We also downed many margaritas, OLE'.
After dinner we watched a little TV. Then we went to the Loft to see the movie " In Darkness" it was a very good movie and it kept you glued to the screen. It was about terrible time when the Jews were persecuted and sought after by the Germans in Poland. It got to the point to where some of the Jewish community took to living and hiding in the sewers under the city. It is a must see.
Well, I had better check on Chris and get myself together for my appointment. Our visitor will be visiting us off and on for the next few days as he gets settled. He gave Elise and I a beautiful clock that belonged to his Mother. It is all handcrafted and we have it on the mantle of one of our fireplaces. I will take a pic of it and include it in my next post.
