Ciao Bella!
Hey, the day is almost over. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Smile!
Mia Moglie, Sorella Jayne, Deb, David, and I visited Sharon Kha this afternoon. It was good to see her, but we interrupted her lunch.
She was way more lucid today than she was a couple of days ago. After her meal we all met up in the cafeteria to discuss what her needs might be.
We want to make sure that she is getting the best care that she needs before she decides to go back home or elsewhere.
We all talked but I mostly listened to what was being said and what was not being said. The care at the "Haven" is not the best, but that is my professional opinion.
I believe that they are helping her so that she can come home, but she is not ready for that yet, again my opinion.
If she comes home, she will need 24-hour care. She will need (decub) prevention items. Like a Roho seat, and APP bed mattress, range of motion therapy, an electric hospital bed, a Hoyer Lift, and good caregivers who are trained to use this equipment.
I believe that she will let us know when she is ready to return home, with a list of doctor recommendations for care.
I took Sorella Jayne to her doctor appointment this evening. Jayne's situation is a big worry for Elise and me, and we understand her reasoning for going back home. We feel it would be a hinderance to her if she went back. We would hate to hear of something happening to her because is a member of our family.
Mia Moglie prepared breakfast for dinner. We enjoyed pancakes, sausages, eggs, and coffee. It was all good. We watched "Bull" on Paramount.
Well, I had better get back into the main house with Elise. She had a moment this afternoon while she was reading something about Chris. We still have the urge to check on Chris in his house. It is going to take some time.
Get a good night's sleep so you can be ready for Taco Tuesday.
Buona notte...Jessie and Elise
