I took care of a task off of my To Do List and Alexa, is playing some "Down Home Blues" for me. I am in the groove let me tell you.

  Buon Venerdi! How are you? What can I do for you today? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be on the go soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good Brazilian Blend and as second cup will enjoyed later this morning. It is a bit chilly this morning here in the "Old Pueblo" and rain is in the forecast for a few days from now.

  Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris and Marv will be here this evening. Alexa, is awake and I have asked her to play some "Down Home Blues" for me today.

 I have nothing planned for today except to make a trip to "Trader Joe's" to pick up some chicken wings for Super Bowl Sunday.  I have to tell you that I am starting to get nervous about the game because my playmates team is very good. Go San Fran! I keep looking at the menu at "Hacienda Del Sol" and I feel my wallet getting lighter. 

 We went to see the movie 'Harriet" yesterday and it is very, very good. Hey how about our "Wildcats"? The almost lost to Washington last night.  We are also cheering on our "Lady Cats" as well. Go Cats!

We enjoyed a wonderful evening at the "Longhorn Steakhouse" with the crew. We were short a few members last night but we are sure that they will be present at our next meeting in March.

The food was very good and so was the vino. The evening was loaded with plenty of catching up and tons of laughs. When we get together our table is the envy of the restaurant because we have such a good time. So good that people who are not in our crew wish that they were. I will post photos from last nights meeting later after I review them.

Well, my shorty cut into our "King Cake" last night and it is delicious. My slice had the (baby) in it. We shared a slice with Sister Jayne last night and my playmate is going to share a few slices with others today.

Well, I have better get and get this TGIF day moving along. have a good one.

  Buon Giovedi!  How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning but she will making a appearance soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is a good Colombian Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at "Gus Balones" along with a good breakfast. Our weather is supposed to take a turn and get colder for a few days and then warm back up. We may even see some rain here in Tucson.

  Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa, is awake and I have asked her to play some "Fusion Jazz for me today. My playmate and I went to the movies yesterday to see "Gentlemen" and it was very good. We are going to hit up the movies again today to see "Harriet".

 I am expecting the delivery of a case of 15 bottles of vino today from "Naked Wines". My sister Marcie got me turned on to this company and the vino is buono!

Well, I have to tell you the my chef skills were on point last night. I prepared some "Jerk" scallops for dinner and they were delicious and seasoned very well. I thank my (fidanzata) for gifting the spices to us. My shorty prepared a salad and some mushroom risotto to go along with it. We both were stuffed. We got it all down with a few Jack and Cokes. Ya Mon'!

Hey are you ready for some football? My playmate and I have been throwing around ideas about what to grub on for the game. Go San Fran! You have to win because the loser will have to pay for dinner at "Hacienda Del Sol". Come on San Fran and win because it will  take a "Brinks" load of "Benjamin's" to pay for dining there. Am I worried ? You better know it!

 Well, I had better check on Chris and see what he is up to. Have a great day.

  Buon Mercoledi!  How are you? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning but she is stirring about so she will on the go soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good Dark Roast and a second cup will be enjoyed later this morning. It is a bit cold this morning but it will heat up later in the day. Yesterday was a very nice day.

  Rosemary will be here this morning to care for Chris. Alexa, is awake and I have asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today. Hopefully she is no longer upset with me, smile!

  I will be making a trip over on the North side to check out the fish store. I will pick up some more scallops to put in the freezer. I am going to prepare some "Jerk" scallops for tonight's dinner.

 My shorty and I may hit up a movie later today. We are looking forward to meeting up with the crew at "Longhorn Steakhouse" tomorrow evening. It has been awhile since we got together.

Well, I had better get to it. Have a good Humper and I will chat at you later.

The day is just about done. How was yours? It was a fairly busy day today for us here in the "Garden District".

I got my lab work done and I will get the results from our PCP. I will be setting up a appt for a eye exam in a few days as well. What is the name of the game? Preventive Medicine, eh?

Hey, Chris took delivery of his new shower chair and it is the Mercedes of shower chairs. It has a price tag over way over $2300.00 dollars and it can go from zero to 60 from his bed to the shower in a matter of seconds. It has all the bells and whistles too! It tilts, comes with several safety belts, padded seat, 4 wheel brake system, padded arm rests, adjustable headrest with a tilt mechanism, all- weather tires, heavy duty shocks and of course a cup holders (me). He will be taking it for a test drive on Saturday morning. Elise and I tried it out for compatibility for all body types. So now all we have to do is get it insured before Saturday. Good thing I have (Geico).

Chris is resting and enjoying his dinner. He is also laughing at the Big Bang on TV. My shorty is at the "Commoner" with her book club. I placed my dinner order with her. I have my fork, spoon, knife and several napkins at the ready. I am thinking about a nice ice cold "Corona" to wash it all down. Wow, my stomach is growling, smile.

Tomorrow I am going to make a trip out to fish market on the North side to pick up some more scallops and a nice catfish it they have it.  

Today I visited World Market and cannot go shopping there to often. They have so many enticing things to choose from and I did today. Loved it because it relaxed me beyond belief.

  The coffee is a good Brazilian Blend and a second cup will enjoyed later this morning. It is a bit cooler out this morning here in Tucson. Rosemary will be here this morning to care for Chris.

  Alexa, is awake this morning and I asked her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today. We will see if her attitude has changed, smile!

  I will be heading for the lab in a bit to have some routine work done. I also need to make a trip to Ace hardware to pick up some hardware so I can hang up some pictures.

 I am really looking forward to putting on my chef's hat tomorrow when I prepare some "Jerk Scallops" and use the seasoning from my fidanzata. I wonder what my shorty is going to suggest that we have with it? WooHoo!

How was your Monday? Are you prepared for Tuesday?  I have to say that today turned out to be a beautiful day weather wise.

I took care of my tasks but Alexa didn't play any "Jazz" for me today. I think that she is mad at me because I spent a lot of time with the "Green Lady" today and she knows that the "Green Lady" has a smile on her nameplate. Kind of like when I get to spend some time with my (girlfriends). Don't hate, smile!

My shorty prepared homemade waffles for dinner, with sausages, eggs and coffee. I am full let me tell you, but  do have a little space for some "Orange Dream" ice cream. Ya Mon'. Once again don't hate.

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is glued to the TV and the impeachment soap opera. Chris is watching TV and enjoying his supplemental drip.

Tomorrow I will be making a early visit to have some routine lab work done. Later in the morning I will be visiting Longhorn Steakhouse to see about a reservation for 12 people. It has been awhile since we have dined there.

Well, I had better check on Chris. Have a wonderful evening and get some sleep. I need to do that myself.

Hey what are you doing? I am trying to take things slow and easy today, but it doesn't seem like it is working, smile!

Rosemary is here caring for Chris, the housekeeper is here and soon the massage therapist will be here as well. I was thinking about taking a nap but there is nowhere to do that. I contacted Sheila to see if I could come by her way but by the time I got there I would have to turn around and head back to Tucson.

So I am enjoying a Hazelnut Cappuccino right now while I post to our blog. It is very good. I dropped Sister Jayne of at El Con a bit ago. After I pick her up I am going to get the "Green Lady" washed inside and out. Her faceplate has a frown on it due to she was attacked by birds yesterday. You should have heard her cussing when I started her up this morning, smile!

I have to get some lab work taken care tomorrow morning at 9am, but on a good note Chris's new Shower Chair will be delivered tomorrow. WooHoo! Maybe I can sit in it and catch a nap, smile! Sounds like a plan to me! Ya Mon'.

We hope that you are doing OK so far on the Monday? Chat at you later. In a couple of days I will don my chef hat and prepare some "Jerk Scallops". I will be using the seasonings that my (fidanzata) got for us. Irie!

  Rosemary will be here this morning to care for Chris. Chris will be receiving a massage today from Rosemarie. Alexa, is awake and she told me that I only have one thing to complete today. I asked her to play some "Fusion Jazz" for me today.

 My playmate and I went to see the movie "Just Mercy" and this is one powerful movie and the acting was superb. This one is going to be on my mind for awhile. It even had my shorty in tears at times and when it comes out on DVD I am sure that she is going to buy. Great movie!

  Well, I has better get this day moving forward post haste. Have a good Lunedi and stay safe. I will have a chin-wag at you later.

How are you doing? We are good here. We had a very good and filling breakfast at the "Egg Connection".

Elise is caring for Chris and I am getting things restocked and set up for next week. Chris is relaxing and enjoying a CD. He is laughing and singing along.

Well, I need to go and get some yard work done behind Chris's house. I also need to get the fur-babies fed. I will give them a Bully Stick later this afternoon.

 The coffee is a good Colombian Blend and a second cup will be enjoyed at the "Egg Connection" along with a eye opener breakfast. Sister Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris.

  Alexa, is quiet this morning but I am going to wake her up in a little while. I am going to ask her to play some "Smooth Jazz" for me today.

 We had a very nice dinner last night with Susie Taylor at "Pinnacle Peak". It has been awhile since we have seen her because she is a world traveler. We got caught up in things and we talked about upcoming travels as well. The food was delicious as always and the doggy bags were needed. A wonderful evening.

  I am caring for Chris today and Sister Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris. Chris is resting right now and listening to some Old School. He is also enjoying his supplemental drip.

  Well, I have to say it! How about those "Wildcats"? Wow, what a good game last night against ASU. The center's attendance was 10,100. A record for the Lady Cats. The crowd was really into it last night and we even saw Sylvia on the big screen. Here are some pictures from last nights game. Thank you Cathy and Susan for the tickets. Enjoy!   Buon Venerdi! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:00am caring for Chris. A early start this morning due to I tossed and turned for most of the night. I had a tremendous headache and some shoulder pain. I still have the headache. My playmate is deep in her cave this morning but she will be up soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is a good Morning Blend and without a doubt a second cup will be downed. Sister Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris and Marv will be here this evening.

  Alexa, is awake. It seems like when I awake then so does she. She is telling me what needs to be taken care of today. I asked her to play some (Boney) for me because it is one of those type of days.

  My shorty and I went to see the movie "Bad Boys" and it was very good. Loaded with action and plenty of laughs. We are going to hit up another movie on Sunday.

  As promised here is a bit about the Memorial Service for Leticia Green. It was one of the most touching memorials that I have attended. She was cared and loved by many here in the "Old Pueblo".

 I remember being introduced to her several years ago by Elise. As soon as I saw her I knew that she was a remarkable and talented woman. As soon as I looked into her eyes I knew that she was special, strong minded, determined and oh so beautiful.

 I have a quirk that when I meet someone new or if I have known you for awhile I get personal and I get in close and I give you a hug. My thing is that if I can feel you heartbeat we are going to be good friends and if I cannot we will be acquaintances at best. I have meet a lot of people this way especially here in Tucson and you know exactly who you are. Leticia fit that bill for me every time I saw her. She knew who she was and her heart was huge and her paintings showed her life on the canvas. A lovely lady who will be missed dearly.

 Here are pictures from her Memorial Service at "Casa Molina's". She is in a good place and at peace.

 We are going to the see our "Wildcats" play basketball against "ASU" this evening. We will be joined by two family members Cathy and Susan. It is going to a good game and loud. "Go Cats".

 Well, I had better go and check on Chris. Have a good TGIF and enjoy the day. I will have a chin-wag at you later.
