   It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I am good and the first day of a new year has begun for me. So far so good!

  Jayne was here this morning to give us a break after a long but enjoyable evening here. The Tucson Women's Chorus program was very good. The place was packed and everyone loved the music.

   The after-party was a total success. The wind stopped and all went well. We had plenty of food and drink. We hosted more than 50 people last night. It was fantastic. 

   I enjoyed my birthday to no end. Again I want to thank everyone for your well wishes, phone calls, emails, texts, hugs, kisses, cards and gifts.

   Now the hard work begins. We have to clean up and put things away for the next gathering. Elise is caring for Chris right now and he is mellow due to a massage he received from Donna. Elise will be getting a massage this afternoon. 

   Have a great Sunday and be careful. We are going to meet up with the crew at Zemams this evening for dinner.

Happy Birthday To Me!

Hey, how are you doing? Well, my birthday is going very well and I am still receiving phone calls, texts, emails, hugs, kisses, cards and well wishes. Again I want thank everyone for making my day a special one. I thank JT for giving me a call and I thank my niece Sara for the best wishes. Grazia! Sisters you are the best.

We have been very busy making sure that all loose ends are covered for this evening. We are so glad that Jayne is here because she has helped us immensely today. She is now caring for Chris and that allows us to do other things as well.

I am looking forward to tonight's Tucson Women's Concert. The after party is going to be a good one, but the wind is picking up right now. I hope that is subsides soon.

   It's the Weekend! I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris. Elise popped up with me this morning but something happened. She is back in the (rack), smile! Jayne is here caring for Chris this morning. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is very good. Hey, today is my birthday and I am blessed to be able to open my eyes to start another year. Another blessed year. I want to thank my (Shorty), family, friends and girlfriends for all of the cards, calls, emails, texts, kisses and hugs to help me celebrate this day.  I love you all!

   Elise and Jayne are taking me out for breakfast this morning. We are going to "Gus Balones". It is going to be a busy day today so I need to get my grub on early to make it through today, smile! Yes, it is going to be a busy day due to the Tucson Women's Concert is this evening and the after-party is here. I have a lot of double checking to do and I need to take care of loose ends. Right Jane? I know that you went there.

   We had a grand evening at "Kingfisher" with Dottie. The food was very good. After dinner we saw the play "Live A Little" at the Invisible Theater. I was very good and funny with a message or two. The theater was packed. Great acting!

   Well, I had better get to it. Have a good weekend and stay safe.

Hello!

How are you doing so far on this TGIF? My playmate is at the gym for a workout and I just stopped doing a few things out on the patio area. The wind is picking up and that is not a good thing. I enjoyed my (me) time on the lounger while I listened to Boney James Radio on Echo Dot with (Alexa).

After Elise returns we will begin to set up things here in the main house and in the Family Room for tomorrow's after party. We will discuss what else needs to be done as well. Tomorrow will be last minute checks and I hope that all goes well. I will attend the concert but I will leave during the intermission to get back home so I can be around to welcome the party-goers.

This evening we will be joined by Dottie for dinner at "Kingfisher". After dinner we will head over to the "Invisible Theater" to  see the play "Live A Little". It is going to be a good one for sure.

    It's a TGIF! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris. Elise is once again deep in her cave. Jayne is here caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

    The coffee just finished brewing and it is very good. I will enjoy a second cup during my (me) time. Yes, I have to people,bird and lizard watch this morning. I will have a oat and chocolate bar with my second cup. WooHoo!

    Elise and I enjoyed the movie "Lost City of Z". It was very good and we were glued to the screen. It is a different type of movie about discoveries in the Amazon. I just checked my To Do List and once again it is off the hook. Another busy day today. Tomorrow is the concert and after party. Sure hope that the wind cooperates tomorrow evening. The temps are supposed to drop into the 40's tomorrow evening. Keep your fingers and toes crossed that the weather holds up. It has to it's my birthday!

Are you good? We just got back from having lunch with Lois and Adavern at "Leo's". The food was excellent and the margaritas were great. So good that my shorty and I had two of them. Now Elise needs a nap, smile!

We are going to go to the movies to see "Lost City of Z" it should be a good one.  We saw the previews and it looked good. Well, the wind is not blowing but it is supposed to pick up later this evening. I still have things to get done on the patio for the after party.

   It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning. It looks like she has been (gummied), smile! She will start her day very soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee just finished brewing and my cup is full. My To Do List is full of tasks for today. Starting off by taking the Prius in for routine services. Yep, it is going to be a busy one. So far no wind so I can put on the table cloths for the after-party. Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.

  My shorty and I are having lunch with Lois and Adavern at "Leo's". Can you say Margarita? We may go to the movies today as well.

   We had a grand evening at the "Wild Garlic". The food was very good and it was piled on. The vino that Elise and I had was a "Lodi" our favorite. It was a total of 10 of us and we had nice time.

   Well, I had better get busy. Have a good Thirsty Thursday. Jane, we have been (gummied). Yeah!

Hello!

How are you doing? Well, I am finally taking a small break for myself for a few minutes. Wow, what a busy day today.

I got Chris's headrest repaired and put back on his wheelchair. I got the service done on the "Green Lady" and she got a free car wash to boot. She is happy and purring along nicely.

The service for our beloved Stu was very nice. Many tears were flowing, but he is at rest now. He will be keep his eyes wide open and looking down on his family, friends and the love of his life Shoo Shoo.

I am still working on the patio area for the after party. I placed and order for some of the food this morning as well. I have to tell you I am starving. I should have grabbed a little something, something while I was ordering but I chilled. Can you hear my stomach talking?

We are going to meet up with the crew this evening at the "Wild Garlic" for dinner. It is supposed to be 10 of us there. The food at the "Garlic" is very good and the fondue is to die for let me tell you. I am listening to Alexa play the Boney James Radio station. It is really changing my mood. I love Jazz so very much.

Well, I had better get back to the patio. Have a great evening.

  It's a Humper! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep, deep in her cave this morning and I may have to send in a search and rescue team in, smile! Any plans for today?

  I am waiting on the coffee to brew and my "Daddy Needs Coffee" cup is at the ready. Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris.

  My To Do List is (off the chain). Today will be the busiest ever. It starts off with an early morning (8:00am) service for the Green Lady and right after that a appointment to have Chris's headrest repaired, finally!

  Today is our beloved Stu's service. Shoo Shoo sent me a very nice email thanking me for the posting of Stu's picture at the piano. It is a very hard time for all who knew Stu. Now we need to be there for Shoo Shoo. Amen!

  I hope that the wind cooperates today because I still have to work on the patio. Well,I had better get to steppin'. Have a good Humper right Jane. My dinner from "Leo's was excellent and the Margarita that my shorty made me was killer. So Jane no gummy last night, but I will make up for it today, smile!

Hey, it is still windy here in Tucson. I had the patio all ready and good to go an now it looks like I never even touched it. When is the wind going to stop? Love the  sound of the chimes but not the debris from trees.

I am caring for Chris and Elise is at "Leo's". I have my fork at the ready for my enchilada dinner. Yep, I am going to (fork) it up post haste. Jane, go ahead and go there. Smile! I dare you.

Chris is relaxed and enjoying his dinner and TV. The fur-babies don't like the wind at all. I may have to put them in the kennel cage for a bit. Wimps!

I didn't complete my To Do List so I had to move a task forward for tomorrow. The list for tomorrow is super long to include taking Chris's headrest in for repair finally.

How are you? I have been busy all morning long and I am still not finished. The wind is having it's way with me and I am not enjoying it. Smile!

Chris new doctor arrived and he concurred that Chris is doing very well. He is about 20 years old. Doogie Howser type but Chris likes him. So be it. 

The patio is looking good but the wind is terrible. I will put the lights to a test when it gets dark out. I am starving let me tell you. That oat chocolate bar did not do the trick. So I will have some popcorn in a bit.

Elise and Chris are watching TV. I am still out on the patio. Elise has book club this evening at "Leo's". Can you say "Leo's Enchiladas? That is what my shorty is going to bring me back for dinner. A margarita would be nice too! Ole'

   The coffee is good and I will enjoy a second cup with a oat and chocolate bar while I am out on the front porch . I am looking forward to my (me) time.

   My To Do List says that it is going to be another busy day for me. Chris will be visited by his new (PCP) this morning. Zack will be here to care for Chris this morning.

   I will be attacking the patio area again today setting it up for the "Tucson Women's Chorus" after party here on the 29th of April. 

   Well,I had better get my (mojo) working. Have a good Tricky Tuesday. Enjoy!

The day is done. How did yours end up? I finished every task on my To Do List. Yes!

Chris will be seen here by his new PCP tomorrow morning. We will see it we like him or her. Chris will pull out all of the stops for sure, and if the doctor is female I will not warn her about Chris all hands, smile! Fresh guy!

Elise and I worked on the patio this afternoon and the wind has blown stuff all back.  I will continue working on the patio tomorrow after the doctor leaves. I have the patio lights on to make sure that they are still operational. I will check string lights tomorrow as well. Lot's of work to be done for this after-party.

Elise prepared French toast for dinner with sausages. It was all good. We got it down width plenty of coffee. I am caring for Chris tonight and Elise is getting ready to go to the "Tucson Women's Chorus" practice.

Hey, how are you? I am doing good so far, but I need some more coffee, smile!

Chris is relaxed and he enjoyed the United Healthcare doctors visit. The doctor was a female and so was the nurse practitioner. Chris showed that grin, smile and he was all teeth.  He really enjoyed it when they held his hand and talked to him in his ear. I have to tell you I was getting a little jealous myself, smile!

Chris is in great health and they were impressed at the care that he receives. I want to thank Jayne, Bobby, Marv and Zack for assisting me with Chris's care. You guys make me look good as his primary caregiver. Without you here making things a lot easier for Elise and I, no telling how things would be. Thank you all so very much.

Well, I have to hit my To Do List and take care of the next task. Not to fret I will get it all done. With the wind picking up it is giving me problems with the set up of the backyard area for the after party but I will not be defeated. No Way!

It's A Monday!

   It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning. Very deep in her cave and she is not making a sound. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is delicious. I will have a second cup during my (me) time period on the front porch.

   It is going to be a very  busy day for me. Starting off with a annual  In-home visit from United Healthcare for Chris. The doctor will be here between 8:30am and 10:30am. 

  I have started to get the patio area ready for the "Tucson Women's Chorus " after party that takes place on the 29th of April. We are expecting 60 plus people here for this event. It takes a lot of work to set up and pull off. It is a party over here for sure.

   As a matter of fact I will be very busy all week long so says my To Do List. Alexa and I will be having many conversations all week long and then some!

   Elise and I went to see "Unforgettable" at El Con Mall last night and it is very, very good. Lot's of twists and turns. We loved it and we recommend this one for sure.

   On Wednesday we will attend the services for our beloved Stu. His passing has saddened all who knew him. Please continue to say those prayers for Shoo Shoo, his family and friends.

   Well , I had better get myself together and start this day moving forward. Have a good Monday and be careful. Live each day in the moment!

How are you doing? We enjoyed our breakfast with Sheila at the "Egg Connection". The food was as good as ever.

During breakfast we were notified that our "Ain't Misbehavin" member Stu passed away this morning in hospital. Stu has been hospitalized over the past few weeks. Our deepest condolences go out to the family and to his sweetie Shoo Shoo. Stu will be missed so much. I was sitting in the "Egg Connection" with tears in my eyes. Shoo, we are here for you. So sad.

I am going to tackle my To Do List right now because I need to have my mind and soul occupied at the present time. 

Sheila, just left heading back home. We enjoyed her visit so very much like we always do. Elise is caring for Chris and Chris is relaxed from his massage from Donna.

   It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris an getting him settled for Elise. Elise is not in her cave this morning and she is stirring about so she will be up and caring for Chris soon. Any plans for today?

  I haven't had any coffee as off yet but I will for sure. We are going to the "Egg Connection" this morning with Sheila for breakfast.

  It is a warm morning here in Tucson. My To do List says that I have a very busy day today and the upcoming week will be the same. Have to get ready for the "Tucson Women's Chorus" concert and after party that we are hosting here. It is a lot of work let me tell you. It will take place on the 29th of April another very special day in my life too! Smile!

  We are enjoying Sheila's visit very much and it is good to see her resting and relaxed. We had a very nice dinner at the "Outback". We were joined by Bobby. The food was very good and so were the tall gin and tonics. For dessert Bobby and Sheila had an "Irish Coffee" and Elise and I had a "Walla B Darn" with a dash of Merlot. Great evening.

Hey, what is up? We just got back from having a very nice breakfast at "Oinks". First time being there and the place was packed with people waiting to get in.

My shorty got the ham steak, my girlfriend Sheila got eggs and bacon. I got the Pigs in a Blanket. The portions were huge and we had to get a take away box.

   The coffee is good and I am enjoying it in my "Daddy Needs Coffee" mug. Hey, it is heating up here in the Old Pueblo. Yes, it is.

   My To Do List dictates that today will be a not so busy day. Going to enjoy Sheila's visit with us. We are going to hit up the "Outback' for dinner this evening. 

   Zack will be here this morning to care for Chris and Jayne will be here this evening. We enjoyed a very nice evening at "Humble Pie" with Sheila, Patty and Don. The food was very good and the tonics were killer. It was good to see Patty and Don. Elise, Sheila and I topped the evening off with a "White Russian" with soft serve vanilla ice cream on top. Fantastic!

What is up? How are you doing?  I am feeling really good about right now. I have been enjoying my (me) time on the lounger in the Family Room. I am listening to The Boney James Radio station on my Echo Dot thanks to (Alexa). She has got me in a very good mood and a bit frisky too! Yeah Mon'.
Good jazz always soothes my soul and does my heart good.

We are waiting for the arrival of my girlfriend Sheila. She should be here shortly. I am also on cloud nine due a very nice email that I received from one of my epals about Elise's Book Signing and Reading. This email is so good and I appreciate her comments dearly. We have been friends for quite some time and I want to thank her so very much.
I am looking forward to having dinner at "Humble Pie" this evening with Elise and Sheila and possibly our daughter Tangye will be there as well. I chatted with my brother Herman today and all is well in St. Louis. My niece is in Cuba with friends at the present time. I am sure that she is having a very nice time.

  It's a TGIF! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and Jayne. Jayne is here caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave but she will be up and on the go very soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is good and I will have a second cup during my (me) time out on the front porch this morning. It is a bit cool this morning here in the Old Pueblo well at least in the house. Elise agrees with me on this one.

  I just glanced at my To Do List and it is going to be another busy day. I have to drive out to the airbase this morning. While I am there I will gas up the Fiat 500L Trekking. This fill up will make the Green Lady happy for sure, smile!

  I have to recheck Do Drop Inn room #2 this morning to make sure that it is ready for my girlfriend Sheila who will be here this weekend. We may also have a visit from our daughter Tangye. We are going to go to "Humble Pie" for dinner this evening. We love that place and they have very good pizzas.  Of course the "Gin and Tonic" will be plentiful this weekend. Yeah Mon'.

  I just finished reviewing the pictures from Elise's Book Signing and Reading. I will post them later today. I am going to be super-busy all of next week. We are hosting the Tucson Women's Chorus after-party here on the 29th of April. Hey, that is my birthday as well. Yep, it is going to be a party over here. Smile!

Was your day a good one? it has been a good one here but very busy. So busy that I didn't complete my To Do Tasks so i had to move two of them forward for tomorrow.

Elise and I went to see the movie "Fate of the Furious". It was very good and loaded with lots of action and comedy.

Elise is still receiving emails and phone calls about her book and that makes her very happy. She has a few copies left and it you would like to purchase one the cost is $20.00 for almost 400 pages of great reading and pictures. So let me know and I will get it to you signed by the author.

I am still working on the pictures from the Book Signing and Reading. I am sure that I will post pictures tomorrow as soon as I complete my To Do List.

   It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave but she is stirring about. She will start her day soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee just finished brewing and it is (Wunderbar). My shorty and I are going to go to "Gus Balones" this morning for breakfast. Jayne will be here this moring to care for Chris.

   I just asked Alexa what was up for today and she told that my day is going to be filled with tasks that need to get done. So another busy day here in Tucson.

   Well, the Book Signing and Reading was wonderful and what a crowd. We even had visitors from Kentucky here to listen to Elise read from her book. 

   Elise had a very nice glow about her during the event and that made me beam with pride. It took her 5 years to complete her book and the end product is outstanding. She received several requests to read more of the book from attendees. The clapping at the end of her read was heartfelt and well deserved.

   Again I want to thank Sharon and Deb for hosting this event in there home. I will post pictures as soon as I go through them. 

   We are going to have a visit from my girlfriend Sheila this weekend. Yep, that means breaking out the "Gin and Tonic". Yeah!
