Good Morning
Mood: Nostalgic
Music listening to: Love Don't Live Here Anymore by Rolls Royce
How are you? I started the day off at 5:10am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise is still counting sheep this morning, but when one of the sheep cannot jump the fence it will wake her up and she will begin her day. Any plans for today?
Last night we relaxed and watched the "Tudors" on DVD, it is a very good series. We also chowed down on our 15 bean soup as well. It was delicious let me tell you. Elise had two bowls and I had three, and the jalapeno cornbread was great. We got it down with some "Flying Fish" a very good Merlot and one of our favorites. Even Marv had a bowl and he enjoyed it very much while he was caring for Chris.
Well this evening is the "Tucson Women's Chorus" concert this evening at the Berger Center. It will be a good concert and it should draw a very nice crowd. After the concert we are going to a after-party and that should be interesting too!
Well, I had better get myself together and get this day started. Have a great day today and a better tomorrow.
Later..............
Tiger, Marcie, Jet what is up?
Rosie, it is always good to hear from you.
Shirlene, I am glad that you liked the card we sent to you. Have a great weekend.
Ross, that is wild about what happened to you on Facebook.
Shoo Shoo, how are you doing?
Jane and John, have a great weekend.
Flo and John, how are you?
Loraine, yes we have a broom. The photo is up above. Jumping the Broom is an old African-American tradition that started back in the slave era. Blacks were not allowed to marry back then so to seal a relationship the couple would jump over a broom that was on the floor or on the ground. So when JT decides to marry he will receive our broom for his wedding day.
