    It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and out very soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and hot and my salad is in the fridge for later. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. Elise and Chris will be receiving a massage later this morning from Pam.

     We had a very nice evening with Shoo and Stu last night. We played "Mahjonng" and Elise prepared a very nice table full of snacks and assorted eats. We treated Shoo and Stu to enjoy along with us a bottle of "Monte Maggio" a Chianti Classico 2007 at 14.5% alcohol content.

      It was delicious. We always tell our guests that you can tell the difference between a cheaper wine and an expensive one. Shoo and Stu noticed the difference at the first sip. "Vino Buono".

    Well as for the game! Elise won a game, Shoo won a game, one game ended with no winner, and Stu and I did not win at all. It was a very nice evening, thank you Shoo and Stu.

  Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris. I am taking my girlfriend Lila out for Mexican Food this evening. You remember Lila don't you? She is the only lady that Elise will allow me to date. Elise will be accompanying us on this date. What has she heard about Lila and I? Hmmmmm, smile.

   Well, I had better get to it. Have a good day.

    It's a Hump Day! How are you doing today? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning,but she will not be getting up too soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is freshly brewed from French Roast bean and my banana, chocolate whey smoothie is in the fridge ready to be downed.

     I am feeling a whole lot better than I was yesterday,thank goodness. Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris.

     We are hosting a Mahjongg beat-down this evening. We will be playing with Shoo and Stu, and I am positive that I am going to be the victor.

     The above photos of are the visit that took place this past Sunday. The visit was from Chris's best friend John back in High School and his fiance Christine. Chris enjoyed the visit very much and he enjoyed the stories that he told us about some of the things he did back in the day. Elise was surprised too!

     Well I had better get busy with Chris and get his day moving forward. Have a great day, and stay safe.

How was your day? It was a restful one here. Chris's wheelchair appointment went very well. We are waiting for the parts to arrive to make the repairs that are needed.

I am having a bout of stomach problems today and right now and I have no idea how I got this. I hope that it stops soon.

Elise prepared corn on the cob,little potatoes, fried corn, tomatoes, and cottage cheese. It was delicious. We watched a few episodes of "West Wing" and Chris watched with us.

Elise is in her office and I am caring for Chris this evening. Tomorrow I will post pics of Chris and his best friend John on the blog. 

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good night.

  It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning, so she will be putting feet to the floor soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is good and hot and no smoothie today but a nice salad is on deck. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. We will be taking Chris to his wheelchair seating appointment at 8:00am. Chris is complaining that this is way too early, smile!

  I have nothing else planned to do for today so I will take is slow and easy. Have a good day and enjoy the day.

How has your day been? It is still a bit warm out this evening and the wind is blowing things around. It has been a very relaxed day and Chris enjoyed his company. I will go into more detail about it tomorrow with pictures.

Elise prepared a nice soup for dinner this evening. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is at the Tucson
Women's Chorus practice.

We are still basking in our DDC win and I guess we will be for a few more days. Cha Ching! Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a great night.

It's A Monday!

    It's a Monday! Sup? How are you doing this morning? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave but she is guiding ships into port this morning,smile. She will be up and about soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and a banana, chocolate whey smoothie is what the doctor ordered this morning. It is a nice 80 degrees right now here in Tucson, with a bit of a a breeze.

    We had a very enjoyable breakfast yesterday with Paula and Marty at "Cafe Au Late" in downtown Tucson. The food was excellent and it was good to see Paula and Marty as always. Thank you very much guys.

    We watched a movie on DVD titled " As Good as Dead" it was a good movie. I was about a supremacist's who was shot an killed and his wife seeks revenge. A very surprising ending.

     Later after Rosemary arrived to care for Chris. Elise, Bobby, and I headed for the DDC to pull some slots. We were having lots of fun but the slots were not being kind. So Elise and I decided to hit up our favorite slot one of the dollar machines. We were down a little over $200.00 dollars and we were reaching our limit.

     We were down to our last $28.00 dollars. We gave it another go and we got the bells, whistles, and lights. We won $6000.00 dollars, yes we did. We love the the DDC. It had been awhile since we have won big like that. I am so glad that Elise was there to share the moment with me. We played a few other slots and then we hopped in the Kia and headed for home. A very nice evening in the Old Pueblo, eh?

     Also I want to apologize for the color of yesterday's print in the posting. I had no idea that it was that hard to read until my sister Marcie told me. I will not be using that color again. Sorry!

     On another good note my nephew Jerome and his family made it safely to St. Louis to visit my brother Herman and his family. I am sure that they will enjoy spending time there.

     Well, I had better get busy with Chris. He may be visited by a long time friend of his today. It should be very interesting to see how Chris reacts because it has been over 20 years since they saw each other.

    It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:45am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning.

    The coffee is good this morning and no smoothie due to we are going to meet up with Paula and Marty downtown near the Art Museum for breakfast.

    Our nephew Jerome and his family are in St. Louis visiting my brother Herman and his family for a few days. That makes me very happy, indeed. Herman and Donna are fantastic hosts.

    Bobby cared for Chris yesterday morning but he was not feeling well at all. The evening prior he dined at Five Guys and a Burger. Something he ate made him very sick. We are not going to eat there ever. 

     Bobby was going to join us for dinner last night at "Old Pueblo Grill" but he was unable to. We hope that he is feeling better today.

     We had a very nice evening with Loraine(Wizard)and Jim at "Old Pueblo Grill. We sat out on the patio. We were seated and we had to move our table around due to the sun was shining directly on Loraine (Wizard). The move was made and then we were sitting on top of ants. So we moved to a different table completely.

    We started off with cocktails and of course some vino. Our waiter was very good and Bobby would have liked him for sure.

    We placed our orders and they were brought out quickly. Elise ordered chicken lettuce wraps, I had firecracker shrimp and grilled chicken with Penne pasta. Loraine (Wizard) had a enchilada combo plate, and Jim ordered the special of the day that included meatloaf,chicken and salmon. It was all good.

    After dinner we headed to Loraine's (Wizard) home. We refreshed ourselves with more cocktails and vino. We began to play "Wizard".

    I have to tell you I started out kicking booty and taking names and then it all crapped out so to speak, smile! Everything started to go south.

    Well,Loraine (Wizard) was dethroned by Elise (new Wizard). It was a lot of fun! After the game was over Loraine (ex-Wizard) served up a dessert that was heavenly. We topped off the dessert with some "Limoncello"and that is always a plus.

    Elise was crowned the new "Wizard" and Jim took the photos of us praising the new Wizard. What a great evening. Jim and Loraine are very good hosts and the lovely Loraine is one special lady. Thank you guys very much!

    Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris. Elise and I are going to the DDC for awhile to pull a few slots. Bobby will join us if he is feeling better.

    Well,I had better check on Chris and get ready for breakfast with Paula and Marty. Have a great Sunday and a better tomorrow.

Rosie, stay well and grab a margarita or three,smile! Our friend Ross and his wife Denise are coming to the states next month. They live in Sydney. We are going to meet them in Las Vegas for a few days. I am sure it will be a blast.

    It's the Weekend! Sup? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning and I don't think that she will be springing up this morning. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and I am going to make myself a orange, yogurt and whey smoothie this morning. It is a nice 79 degrees here in the Old Pueblo this morning and yes we could use a bit more of the wet stuff before the monsoon season ends for good.

    We had a very nice evening with Jane and John at "Dante's Fire". We started off with a nice glass of 7 Deadly Zins that lead to a second glass. It is a Lodi wine and we love Lodi's.

     The bread was outstanding and it could have been the meal all by itself. Elise ordered a spinach salad that we shared. She also ordered the Lamb Meatballs that were fantastic.

       I ordered the Foie Pops that was to die for. I also ordered the Parpadella Diablo, I was in heaven. Jane ordered the Thai Curry Shrimp, and Papa John ordered the Shrimp Martini. I ordered the Peanut Butter Mousse that was decadent. I shared this and it was so good that Jane and John ordered one for themselves. It was that good.

          The food was very good but it was served (Tapa) style (small plates). We love Tapas but they were a bit pricey. Overall it was a very good dining experience.

     We said our good-nights to Jane and John and we made our way to the Invisible Theater to see the play "The Letters" it was a good play and I learned a few things as well. It must to have been opening night for the play because the male actor flubbed his lines a few times, other than that it was very good.

     Now on a worrisome note. Elise hurt her back at "Tai Chi" yesterday. She was in quite a lot of pain. I will check on her shortly to see how she is feeling this morning.

     Rosemary will be here this evening to care for Chris. We will be meeting up with Loraine, and Jim at Old Pueblo Grill for dinner. Bobby will be joining us as well.

     After dinner we will head over to Loraine's for a beat-down game of "Wizard". Loraine is the reigning "Wizard" at this time but she will be dethroned this evening. Loraine is a very good hostess and she prepares some of the best desserts. She is also some very nice eye-candy to look at as well. So it should be a very good evening because I will become the new "Wizard" without a doubt.Loraine's reign is over!

     Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Bobby will be here this morning to care for him. Have a great weekend.

    It's Friday the 13th!!!!!!!! How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning but I don't think that she will be opening those eyes of hers anytime soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and hot and I am going to prepare a salad for later on in the day. No smoothie today due to I am out of bananas this morning. 

    It was good to see Angelica back to work with Chris yesterday from her short vacation, she looks good and well rested.

    Elise and I played a spirited game of Scrabble yesterday before we left for the "Loft" to see the movie "Kings of Summer". It was very good and funny.

    We returned home after the movie and  Elise prepared a couple of cocktails for us to enjoy while we picked up where we left off on the Scrabble game. I think she planned to dull my senses so she could win, smile!

     It is now 5:00pm and Bobby arrived to join us. Elise prepared him a cocktail as well. We continued to play until 5:30pm. At the time we loaded up the Kia Sport and we were on our way to 'Macayo's for dinner.

    The margaritas are fantastic there, and so was the food. We enjoyed our dinner so much that a second margarita was
ordered. We were stuffed! A great evening of good food, libations and Bobby.

    We returned home and we said our good-nights to Bobby. Elise and I continued to play Scrabble. Well, I lost big time, she is good at this game. We will have a rematch for sure.

     Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris. Elise and I are going to dinner at "Dante's Fire" for the first time and we are looking forward to it. 

     After dinner we are going to "Invisible Theater" to see the live play titled "The Letters" it should be a good one. Well, I had better get busy and get this Friday the 13th rolling.

 The coffee is working miracles this morning. No smoothie this morning but I am going to prepare a nice salad for a bit later. Yummy!

 Angelica will be returning to work with Chris this morning. Elise and Chris will be receiving a massage from Donna this morning as well.

 Elise and I are going to go to the movies this afternoon and later after Rosemary arrives are going to go out for Mexican food with Bobby.

 I had a rough night getting to sleep last night something is really nagging at me. I am keeping my eyes and ears open just in case.

    It's a Hump Day! Go ahead and say it, it's Hump Day! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but not to far in so she will be up very soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and hot and I am going to prepare a banana, pineapple, chocolate peanut butter whey smoothie. Never tried this one before so we shall see if I turn into the Hulk or something, eh?

    Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. We have no plans for today so I am going to do some fine tuning on "365 Days With Elise".

    Well, I had better get busy. Have a good Hump Day. Reflect on this anniversary of 9-11.

    Elise and I played a very rousing game of Gin Rummy and I have to tell you Elise is good at this game and I am no slouch either, smile! Not as professional as Stu and Shoo, but we are working on it.
