It's A Thirsty Thursday!

Good Morning!

   It's a Thirsty Thursday! Sup? I started the day off at 4:50am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be up soon making her way to the gym. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and hot this morning. No smoothie this morning just not in the mood for one, go figure!

    My shoulder is still bothering me this morning. I aggravated it when I was turning and changing Chris's linen. I will take a Percocet as soon as Elise gets back from the gym.

    The gathering at the "Old Pueblo Grill" with the Yoga book club members was interesting. The food was great, but I felt a lot of tension, disagreement, and a cliquish type atmosphere. I was glad that Stu and Shoo were there. I do hope that Shoo is feeling better today.

    Donna will be here this morning to give Elise and Chris a massage. Rosemary will be here this afternoon to care for Chris.

     Elise and I will be packing up our suitcases for our trip to New Mexico for a couple of days. I will give the Tacoma the once over to make sure that it is ready to hit the road.

    It's a Hump Day! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave but she is purring so she may not be putting feet to the floor soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and I will be making a banana smoothie very soon. I am in a bit of pain this morning due to my left shoulder is giving me fits. I am going to have to take something straight away for this pain. I am also getting a little congestion as well. What's up with that?

    Well, my telephone problem has been solved at least I hope so. The Internet is working like it should as well. When it rains sometimes it causes things to go haywire. I like haywire especially at the DDC, smile!

    Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. Elise and I are going to Happy Hour at the Old Pueblo Grill this evening we will meet up with some of her book club members there. It should be an interesting evening.

    Other than that, that is all that is planned for today. Well, you have a great Hump Day and be careful out there.

How was your day? Things were slow today and that is a good thing. Chris and I watched TV and we worked on a few word games online.

I am still having phone and computer problems. I called for a tech to come out tomorrow to have a look to see what is going on.

We had a very nice dinner this evening. Elise prepared homemade waffles, sausages and we had plenty of coffee. We have not started to pack as of yet for our trip to the mountains of New Mexico. I am still very concerned about taking this trip and I cannot shake the feeling that I am having about going.

Well, I had better check on Chris. Have a great evening.

    It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is half in her cave entrance and half out. Can you picture that? Smile! Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and I will be preparing a banana, peanut butter, and whey smoothie shortly. We got  little bit of rain last night that is always needed here in the desert of Tucson. We want more!

    I am caring for Chris this morning due to Angelica will be away for two weeks to visit her family. I have no plans for today at all, so I will be trying to relax as much as I can.

    We are preparing for our trip to New Mexico. The plan is to leave on Friday and return on Monday. We will be up in the mountains with Nancy and Jeff. They own property there and if you recall Elise and I helped to build their home there many years ago.

    The problem with going there is that we will not have any phone service and that is a major concern with all that has taken place over the last few days. We will see how it all works out if it does.

    Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good Tricky Tuesday.

   The coffee is good and no smoothie today. I am just not in the mood to have one. Not like me, eh? Due to all of the recent problems, mishaps, upsets, disappointments I am not feeling 100%. So bear with me I will bounce back in few days at least I hope so.

   I have no plans for today and that is a good start. Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good day.

    It's a Hump Day! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave but she will be up soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and my banana, peanut butter smoothie is in the fridge, extra thick. I started this morning off being Mr. Rooter. I had to run to Ace Hardware the get a toilet kit to repair one of the toilets in the main house that went kaput last night.

     Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris and I don't think that we have anything planned for today. Wait a minute we are going to the movies to see "Blue Jasmine". It should be very good, it received four stars.

     I will be packing up my suitcase for our stay cation that starts tomorrow morning. We will be in the Phoenix area until Saturday morning.

     Last night Elise went to her book club meeting at "Maynard's" in downtown Tucson. She returned with a very,very good dinner for me. I had a half a bottle of a J.Lohr Cab, that was great. I chowed down on a grilled ham hock, arugula salad, and a corn like salsa that was great. 

     Well, I had better get busy with Chris and get his day moving forward. Have a good Humper!

   It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:15am caring for Chris. I must to have needed the extra few minutes of sleep this morning. If Elise's alarm clock had not sounded I may have still been asleep. We both popped up this morning like we were a couple of pieces of toast in a toaster. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and hot and I will not be having a smoothie today. I am going to have a salad later this morning. No, I am not turning into a rabbit,smile!

     I have to run an errand this morning on the airbase. Angelica is here caring for Chris this morning. It is a calm 86 degrees right now but it is supposed to heat up very fast and stay that way for the rest of the week.

    Elise is going to one of her book club meetings this evening and I will be anxiously waiting to see what she brings me for dinner. The meeting will be at "Maynards" downtown near the train station. We have eaten there before with Paula and Marty and the food was very good.

    Well, I had better get busy with Chris. I just got my suitcase out for our stay-cation in the Phoenix area. We will be there for a couple of days starting on Thursday. We will be visiting friends and our niece Sara and her boyfriend Jesse #2.

It's A Monday!

Mood: Distraught!

    It's a Monday! What's up? I started the day off at 4:40am caring for Chris. Elise is way deep in her cave this morning but she will be making a move very soon. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and hot this morning. I will be making myself a smoothie shortly. A banana, chocolate, peanut butter and whey. I am going to make it thick, thick, smile!

     Elise and I had a great breakfast at the "Egg Connection' yesterday. We were even entertained by a guy who walked in off of the street. He stole a card of charity coins off the counter and made a run for it. Many of the employees and customers ran after him top try to catch him but he was too fast. The Tucson police made it to the scene shortly after.

     Later in the day Elise and I played games on the "Wii". We were not playing very well today. I had a very nice conversation yesterday afternoon with my brother Herman. He helped and eased my mind by keeping me focused and to stay strong.

    Elise prepared our favorite dinner yesterday. BLT's! We watched a DVD that was a strange one. It is titled "Lie With Me. It was suggested to us by Jane and John. Chris really enjoyed it very much.

    We had an episode a day or so ago when we got a little rain and very high winds. The trees in the easement were blowing and brushing against power lines causing the to spark and arch. Elise notified TEP and a guy came out to look at the power lines. They are here right now to cut the high tree branches that are touching the power lines. This happened a few years ago and it caused a fire in the easement.

    Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good Monday and be careful out there.

    It's a Sunday! How are you? I started the day off at 4:48am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up soon to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good his morning a nice breakfast blend of beans. No smoothie today due to Elise and I are going out for breakfast at the "Egg Connection". I may try some pancakes today for a change of pace, hmmmm!

     Elise and I had a wonderful dinner last night at "Cody's Beef and Bean. We shared a carafe of Burgundy at room temperature. It is so good. I ordered a beef and barley soup and Elise ordered a salad. 

      For the main course we both had the T-bone steak. Elise ordered a baked potato and beans. I ordered steak fries and beans. It was all so good.

       This evening after Rosemary arrives to care for Chris, we are going to the "Loft" to see the movie "Hunt". We saw the previews and it should be very good.

       Why is it that your children do not contact you unless they need something? It is very frustrating to say the least. It is just not right at all. You don't hear from them in months then (Bam) I need this or that!

       Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good Sunday and beware because Monday is on deck, smile!
