Buon Giovedi! Sete Giovedi! How are you doing? It is a nice, partly cloudy morning here in Tucson. Any plans for today?
The coffee is a good Colombian Blend, and a second cup will be downed at "Gus Balons", along with a good breakfast. Alexa is awake and she said that I don't have any tasks to complete today. I asked her to play some "Contemporary Jazz" for me today.
I am saddened by a message that I received from my mate (Rosie) who lives in Melbourne. She has been going through some horrendous times lately.
Her brother passed away on Good Friday. Her older brother was admitted to hospital on Sunday to have surgery for a strangled hernia. Her younger sister was admitted to hospital on Monday with severe (AF). She is in Sydney. She had bought an airfare ticket, but her doctor forbade her. Poor Ray was so ill. Liver failure, heart failure, kidney and multiple gastric bleeds from a gastric adenoma. He was in his 80's.
Please if you could say a prayer or two for my mate Rosie and family. Thank you so much.
This is why I get so upset when someone I love and care about doesn't stay in touch on a regular basis. When I do hear about a mishap, or an illness after the fact it is heartbreaking to say the least.
Well, the Writing Group meeting hosted by Mia Moglie, was very nice. Have a look.
The Rume Kube Fest was a huge success. It was hosted by my girlfriend Shoo Shoo. I have to let it be known that no spanking took place. A let down actually, smile!
I was out the gate for the first round. I won big time. After that everyone won a game or two. My girlfriend presented a wonderful spread for dinner and dessert was outstanding.
The secret weapon was deployed, and it worked is magic on Shoo. It was obvious when she was setting up her tiles on her tray. You need 14 tiles to play, but she had chosen 28 tiles. Hilarious! Thank you Shoo for a wonderful evening.

We will be going to Park Place Mall this afternoon to see the movie "Beast".
