Buongiorno!

Buon Domenica! How are you doing? It is a nice, clear Superbowl Sunday morning here in Tucson. Any plans for today besides football?
The coffee is a good Jamaican Blend, and a second cup will be enjoyed at the "Egg Connection" along with a (super) breakfast. Alexa is awake and she reminded me that today is "Chefs Day". I asked her to play some music to cook by.
Yes, today is "Chefs Day". My Sous Chef and I will be once again in the (cucina) tossing around pots and pans. The feature dinner for this "Superbowl Sunday" is Deep Fried (Swai) with French Fries and a Salad. My Sous will select the proper (libation) to accompany the meal. Ya Mon".
My (cognata) is occupying Dew Drop Inn Room #2. I am in Dew Drop Inn Room #1 in the main house posting to the blog this morning.
We enjoyed a very good meal thanks to my (cognata) last night at "La Mesquite Grill and Taqueria" in downtown Tucson. The food was delicious and plentiful. I got the meal down with a couple of (Peroni) birras, my (cognata) enjoyed a (red) beer, and Mia Moglie enjoyed a dirty (martini). We were entertained by a husband and wife called "Silk and Soul"; they are a very good "Motown" sound duo. Yes, they are from Detroit, my hometown. I had to tip them well, don't you know!
After dinner we strolled over to the "Arizona Theater Company" to see the live play/musical "Blues in the Night". This show was excellent, and the theater was packed. The singing was fantastic. The standing ovation was well deserved. A wonderful evening indeed.
As for today's "Superbowl" Mia Moglie and I always bet on the outcome. She is going with the Chiefs, and I am going with the Eagles. I really do want the Chiefs to win. The loser has to pay for a dinner at a high-end restaurant here in the "Old Pueblo". So, if I lose (girlfriends) I am going to need a loan, so I don't have to bus tables and wash dishes. Don't let that happen to me, OK?
I will be hitting up the (treadmill) sometime today. I also will be taking the (bellezza nera) to the car wash today.
Well, I had better get ready for breakfast. Have a good Domenica. Stay safe and have a great Superbowl Sunday. I will chat at you later.
Today's challenge word is (calcio). I am ready for some (calcio). Go chiefs, right fidanzata?
Ciao...Jessie and Elise
