Afternoon!

Hello!

Hey how are you doing? It is heating up here in Tucson. I am looking forward to being in the air conditioned DDC.

I got all of my tasks done except for one. I will get it done on the way to the DDC. I was wanting to be able to post more about our trip to Washington but I cannot. I have been on the phone with Chris's doctors office and his pharmacy trying to find out what happened with  a med that I placed a refill order on over two weeks ago. Hopefully they will get it straight now. I had to let them have it and I donned my DI hat and I let it fly with glory and fire. Smile!

We hope that your day is going better than mine is? My shorty brought back a wonderful dinner last night for me from "Cody's Beef and Bean". I had center cut pork chops, fries, cold slaw, cowboy beans, soup and I French dip with Au Jus. It was a lot and very good and I just could not eat it all. Thanks Elise.

   It's a Hump Day! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave and she is not stirring about this morning. She will start her day soon.. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and a second cup will be enjoyed during my (me) time out on the front porch with the lizard patrol. Smile!

    Bobby will be here this morning to care for Chris. My To Do List is not bad today. Elise and I are meeting up with Dottie later today at the DDC for a (perk) that includes a overnight stay. So be listening for the Cha Ching or a lot of cussing, smile!

   I will post more about or trip to Washington this morning if time permits. Have a great Humper.

MY MANTRA! SMILE!

Are you good? Has your day gone your way? I got my last task taken care of. After my last task we decided to have a nice shot of scotch. Ahhhhh!

It is getting windy and cloudy out. We may get a drop of rain or two. WooHoo! Elise found out today at the doctors office that we will be losing our PCP. We are going to miss him something awful. As of July we will have a new doctor.

I am caring for Chris tonight. Elise and Shoo Shoo just left for their book club meeting at "Cody's Beef and Bean". My shorty will bring me back the special for today and that is pork chops. Yeah Buddy! I have my knife and fork at the ready.

I will get my suitcase out for tomorrow's stay at the DDC with Dottie. It should be a lot of fun. Hopefully we can make the slots sing "Cha Ching". Smile!

I also need to update my "Bucket List". I need to cross out a few things that we have done. Do you have a "Bucket List'?

I have developed a "Communication Log for (am and pm) care for Chris in addition to his other logs and care plans. This one is designed to make the caregivers chat with each other on paper and to see what concerns they may have and shortcomings that need to be addressed. It started today with Zack and myself. It is working already and I have noted as such.

I want to thank everyone for your comments, texts, emails and phone calls about today's blog posting with pictures from Seattle and Port Angeles. More photos will be posted tomorrow before we hit the DDC.

Hello!

How are you doing? I am good here in the valley of Tucson. I am just about done with my To Do List for today. All I have left is to make a visit to the "Live Theater Workshop" to renew our season tickets for the upcoming year. I will get that done this afternoon at around 3:00pm.

I do know that I am starving. I need to grab a bite or two of something don't you know?  I hope that things are going your way so far today?

Here is a bit about our trip to Port Angeles, Washington to visit with Eddie. Enjoy!

Sunday May 21st. 

We left the house at 12:30pm and we arrived at the Tucson Airport at 1:00pm. Jayne is caring for Chris while we are away.

We enjoyed a light meal prior to boarding our plane (Alaska Airlines) making our way to Seattle, Washington. We arrived in Seattle at 6:35pm and we took the shuttle to the rental car place where we picked up a Hyundai Elantra. We drove to our hotel (Days Inn Hotel and Suites. We checked into our room and we relaxed for a bit with a Jack and Coke.

We started to get a bit hungry so we walked over to "Dave's Diner". We had a great home-cooked meal. Elise enjoyed liver and onions and I had the  pork chops. Both meals were served with mashed potatoes and corn. It was wonderful! We topped the meal off with a Jack and Coke.

We returned to our room and we hit the sheets. We enjoyed a nice gummy bear for dessert. We slept like babies until 8:45am the next morning. 

Monday May 22.

We got up up and we went back to "Dave's Diner' for breakfast. Elsie enjoyed oatmeal with all of the fixings and I had sausages, potatoes and eggs. After breakfast we checked out of our suite and we headed toward Port Angeles. We got lost a couple of times and we had to call Eddie for directions. it took 3 and a half hours to get to Port Angeles from Seattle. It is west of Seattle and it is difficult to get to because you have to drive south to find a bridge to cross over to Gig Harbour. You then drive north and then west . The drive is very scenic and gorgeous. Big tall trees, beautiful flowers and at for today it is sunny!

We got to Eddie's house at around 2:30pm. It was good to see Eddie and he is looking very good, relaxed and very happy. We talked for awhile before Eddie had to leave for the high school were we coaches track and field. We just chilled while he was away. After Eddie returned we headed for Port Angeles. Eddie lives outside of town. We walked around and Eddie pointed out the sights . It is a super little town with about 20,000 residents. Lot's of shops, murals and of course a great ocean view.

All of that walking around starting to make us hungry, so we stopped at a place called the "Landing" it is located right on the ocean and it houses two restaurants. Elise had the clam chowder, I had the Mahi Mahi, and Eddie enjoyed crab fettuccine.  It was all good. Before dinner we stopped in bar for a drink. The place was crowed big time. It gets chilly here when the sun goes down. 

What a good evening with Eddie. We returned back to Eddie's home and we chilled before we called it a night. A great start to a very good trip.

  It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise popped up with me this morning making her way to the gym to swim. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and a second cup will be had with a oat and chocolate bar. It is going to be another hot one here in the valley of Tucson. Zack will be here this morning to care for Chris.

   My To Do List is loaded with tasks for today. Alexa is keeping me on my toes like always. I am going to get the Green Lady washed inside and out today due to she is starting to get a bit dirty.

   I will post about our trip to Seattle and Port Angeles after I complete all of my tasks for today. My shorty is going to "Cody's Beef and Bean" this evening with her book club. Elise will bring me back some dinner.

How was your day? I got all of my tasks completed and now (Alexa) is very happy at least until tomorrow. Smile! 

I have been caring for Chris today and I think I may have pulled a muscle on my right side. It is very painful and I will glad to hit the sheets tonight. 

Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had homemade waffles, sausages and eggs. It was delicious and we got it all down with coffee.

We have started to watch "Outlander" on Amazon. It is very good just like the books. Elise is in her office on her desktop.

  It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is deep in her cave this morning. She will be on the go soon to start her day. Any plans for today?

  On  this Memorial Day remember the those who gave their lives so that we can be free. Also thank my comrades in arms active and retired for their service as well. 

   I am downing coffee like it is water this morning. I have so much to do and (Alexa) is giving me fits reminding me that I need to get my (mojo) in gear. 

   We had a very nice evening at "Zemams" with Marty last night and the food was as good as ever. We missed Paula being there with us, she is a bit under the weather. We hope for a quick recovery.

  I will post about our Washington trip as soon as I get caught up all of my tasks on my To Do List. Have a good day and be careful when you are out and about.

   It's a Sunday! How are you doing? Well, we are back and we had a fantastic time in Port Angeles and in Seattle. As a matter of fact we wish that we could have stayed longer. Beautiful country! I started the day off at 7:30am and Elise is starting to stir right now as well. Jayne is here caring for Chris. Any plans for today?

   My playmate and I may hit up the "Egg Connection" for breakfast this morning. Donna will be here this morning to give Chris a massage and she will return later this afternoon to give Elise a massage as well. We are meeting up with the crew at "Zemams" this evening for dinner.

   We want to thank Jayne for caring for Chris while we were away. We would also like to thank Meg, Lois and Drusilla for keeping an eye out on things for us as well. We had such a good time in Washington. We thank our hosts Eddie, Roy, Sandy and Susie for showing us a great time and for taking us around to see the sights.

   I took tons of photos and I will get them posted as soon as I review them and we get all caught up with the everyday events and tasks. I will have to have a conversation with (Alexa) today to get myself back on track.

    Jayne will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. Elise is all packed and I am still in the process of packing for our trip to Seattle.

    My To Do List says that I have to restock Chris's supplies for the upcoming week. Well, I had better get to it. Have a good Sunday and stay safe, happy and free.

What is the deal? I have completed all of my To Do Tasks and I am beat. Now I need to pack my suitcase for the trip. I will get that done as soon as we pick up the fur-babies from the groomers.

I had to stop in Popeye's for some chicken to curb my appetite. Yep, that did the trick. The groomers just called and the girls are ready for pick up. We will get them as soon as my shorty returns from grocery shopping.

Hey, Elise and I just dropped off the fur-babies to be groomed and conditioned. They did not want to be there at all. Smile!

I am about to get all of my bills paid prior to our trip to Seattle and I will start to pack up my suitcase as well. My shorty and I are still discussing what to pack.

I am starting to get the growlers in my stomach so I need to get a little something, something to squash that, eh?

   The coffee just finished brewing and already for a nice cup full. Zack will be here this morning to care for Chris and Jayne will be here this evening.

    My shorty and I are taking the fur-babies to be groomed this morning. They will get a summer cut with the works.

    My To Do List is loaded with tasks for today. It is loaded because we leave for Seattle tomorrow. We have some checking and double checking to do. Busy Day!

    Life is beautiful and I am blessed. I am glad that I learn something new everyday. At times I get these feelings and they keep me on my toes if you will? I can feel something building up and it is going to present itself soon. So it is on alert I go, smile! I have noticed some very strange things going on lately....

Hey, while we were at the DDC we purchased our tickets for the Boney James concert that is set for 8 July. We will more than likely going to get a room for an overnight stay as well.

   It's a TGIF! How are you? I started the day off at 6:00am looking in on Chris. Elise is up and about to start her day. Jayne is hear caring for Chris this morning. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and a second cup will had with a oak and chocolate bar. It is bright and sunny here in Tucson. We are heading for the 100's for the next few days. Whew! I am looking forward to my (me) time before it gets too hot.

   Elise and I enjoyed our visit with Charlotte and her daughter in Green Valley. Her complex is very nice. After our visit we made our way over to the DDC to pull a few slots. We had a very nice time and did you hear the "Cha Ching"? We also had dinner at the DDC. Elise enjoyed a burger and fries and I got a pizza. After we ate we hit the slots again for a short time.

  We arrived back at home and my shorty hit the sheets to read and I followed suit after I fed the fur-babies. I started to have stomach issues after I hit the sheets. I am sure it was the pizza. I was playing skip, skip to the Loo!

   My To Do List is loaded today but I will get all of the tasks completed. I need to call in some script refills for Chris and I have to run around on the Eastside as well today. We are going to Happy Hour this evening at "La Parrillia Suiza" and after dinner we are going to the "Live Theater Workshop" to see the play " Annapurna". It got good reviews and it should be a good one. Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris.

   Well, my suitcase is out and it is now time for my playmate and I to start packing for our trip to Seattle. We check the weather report for Seattle daily so we can know what to pack. Well, I had better get busy. Have a good TGIF! Jane, glad that the gummies are working.

CHRIS CLOWNING AROUND THIS MORNING!

How are you? I am good. I enjoyed my second cup of coffee during my (me) time out on the front porch with the lizards. I also did a little yard work while I was out in the front of the house.

I am feeling pretty good about right now. My To Do List is almost complete and my shorty is out with a friend for breakfast. When she returns we are going to see the movie "A Dog's Life" at Gateway theater. We were told it was very good by Jane and Papa John.

We are still going out to Green Valley to visit Charlotte and the DDC as well. Cha Ching hopefully. Hope that the day is going your way? WooHoo!

    We are going to Green Valley later today to visit with Charlotte and to take her Elise's book. After our visit we may drop into the "DDC" to try our luck for just a bit. Hopefully a little "Cha Ching" will happen, eh?

    We had a wonderful evening at "Pinnacle Peak" with Nancy and Ron. Good food and libations, great laughs and good friends. Thank you Nancy and Ron for a nice time. Hey, so you two went to Baskin Robbins anyway, eh? So funny!

    Well, I am going to get out my suitcase today because it is getting close to our departure date for Seattle, Washington.  My playmate and I will be talking about what to pack based on the weather there.

How is it going? What are you up to? I have completed all of my To Do List for today.  I got the Green Lady all gassed up and she is pouring like a kitten.

I am chillin listening to Boney James Radio on my Echo Dot with Alexa calling the shots. The Truly Nolan tech is here spraying the outside area around the main house and Chris's house. I am chowing one cherries to curb my hunger pains until we have dinner this evening at Pinnacle Peak with Nancy and Ron.

Elise will be back soon and we will play "Wii" games for awhile. We more than likely will watch a series on "Netflix" as well. Our trip to Washington State is coming up fast and we are looking forward to it.

  My shorty and I may hit up the DDC on our way back from Green Valley tomorrow. We may even have dinner there, smile! We are going to visit with Charlotte at her home and deliver Elise's book to her.

Did you have a good one today? I got plenty of rest and I enjoyed my (me) time this morning.

Elise prepared pinto beans and cornbread for dinner this evening. We also has baby carrots as well. It was all good we watched "Rectify" and "Frankie and Grace" on Netflix.

I am caring for Chris tonight and Elise is in her office on her desktop. Tomorrow is going to be a busy one so says my To Do List.

We are going to have dinner at "Pinnacle Peak" with Nancy and Ron. Can you say "Big Cowboy?" I will for sure and of course there must be vino to enjoy. It's the Italian in me, smile!

How is it going so far on this Tricky Tuesday! I got my lab work done and all I have to do now is pick up a script from Walgreen's.

So now I am going to get in some (me) time out on the front porch. I will be counting  lizards this morning and enjoying a nice hot cup of coffee with a oat chocolate bar. Yummy.

It is a bit breezy here in Tucson and we are lonely supposed to reach 75 degrees today. Continue to enjoy your day.

   The coffee just finished brewing and my cup is at the ready. I will have a second cup with a small piece of pork chop to go along with it after my lab work this morning.

    My To Do List is very light for today. The major task on it is to get my labs done. I can do that. Zack will be here this morning to care for Chris.

    I will be attacking the treadmill later this evening. It is time for my shorty and I to start to think about what we are going to pack for rainy and cold Seattle. We are looking forward to this respite.
