Good Morning!

Mood: It's All About Me Today!

   Happy Birthday To Me!  How are you doing? I started me day at 12:00am by standing up on my two feet and raising my hands in the air and taking in a deep breath. I thanked my maker for allowing me to see this day and to start another year of my journey in this life.

   I got back into bed and I snuggled up close to my loving wife Elise and I held her tight while she slept. I thanked her for putting up with me and my quirks, habits, and problems for so many years. She keeps me strong and focused and always leads me in the right direction. Love you Elise!

   I also give thanks to my family and friends who are always there for me. I want to thank my brother Herman for making it possible for my playmate and I to travel this country and to stay at some wonderful hotels, inns and suites when we are on a vacation or stay-cation. Love you brother!

   I want to thank all of my girlfriends who sends me emails, texts, phone calls, cards, letters, photos. I also thank you for all of the hugs and kisses that you give because it feels so good to receive them. In my eyes when we hug we become one and that is why when I hug I hold on just a bit longer and tighter. Thank you and I love you all.

  I also spent time this morning in meditation to clear my mind and to relax my soul. I got up 6:00am to post to our blog and my playmate is sound asleep. Today it is all about me and a new beginning. This day marks a milestone in my life and I am changing a few things for the better with the help of my maker, my loving wife, my family and friends.  So here I am today it is all about me.

   It's a Hump Day! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and on the move soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and I will have an English Muffin with egg and Canadian bacon for breakfast.

    It is another nice morning here in the valley of Tucson. Birds are chirping, coyotes howling, fur-babies snoring, smile! Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris while we are away on stay-cation.

   I will be preparing my world famous "Tuna Jalapeno Dip" this morning to take along with us on this stay-cation. We will also be taking along our laptop so we can play video games while we are grubbing on the tuna dip. I hope we have enough "Frito Scoops"?

   I have to run an errand this morning. While we are away we are going to hit up the DDC so I can pick up my birthday perks and gift. Cha Ching! Hopefully, smile!

How did your day end? It has been a good one here but I have been taking it slow and easy. We had a visit from a electrician to repair a short in the cooler line controls to the tune of $160.00 greenbacks. 

Chris and I watched TV and we rested for a bit. I spent a short time in my man-cave today. My playmate got a wind chime to go in the cave and it is nice.

We had breakfast for dinner this evening. We had homemade pancakes, sausages, eggs and coffee. Very good! We watched "Doc Martin" on Netflix with Chris.

My playmate is all packed and ready for tomorrow. I will pack my suitcase tonight. We are looking forward to this stay-cation. We decided not to get the tickets for the "Abba Tribute" because we have to prepare for the "Tucson Women's  Chorus" party that will be held here at our home in May.

I give much thanks to my bro Herman for getting us great rates at Marriott properties. This is a big birthday for me and it will be lifestyle changing for me. So if I seem to be a bit more frisky playmate  and girlfriends you know what time it is, right? Oh Yeah! Smile!

    It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is up and about to start her day. Any plans for today?

    The coffee is good and a believe a second cup is on deck this morning. I will have some yogurt for breakfast and maybe a English muffin. Hmmmmmm! David will be here this morning to care for Chris.

    I have to run an errand this morning and we will be packing up suitcases sometime today for our stay-cation here in Tucson. It is a nice morning here in the Old Pueblo but it is going to heat up fast. I heard some rumbling about the possibility of rain but I don't think so. I have my flip flops at the door just in case. Loraine and Jane I hope that you do too? Smile!

Well, the wind is still at it here. It is causing my girlfriend  Jane problems so if you could please say a prayer for her.

My playmate is feeling better. The nap that she took worked wonders for her. She is now on her desktop. Her appetite wasn't the best but she did eat something for dinner.

I am caring for Chris tonight and he is relaxing nicely. Hey, my suitcase is out of the closet and ready to be filled for our stay-cation.

How are you? Well, the wind has not let up as of yet and it is forecast to continue for the next couple if days. Today it interrupted Chris's and my time in the man-cave.

Elise is back home and she has hit the sheets due to she is not feeling well. I will check on her every now and again. Chris and I are in his house watching TV and chillin'.

Sweet Pea, how are you feeling today? How is Papa John? I will dig out my suitcase later this evening for our stay-cation here in Tucson that begins on Wednesday if all goes well. 

My playmate and I are going to visit the DDC to pick up some perk tickets for the upcoming "Abba" tribute at the Diamond Center. The show will be during the first week of May I believe.

Well, I am still feeling a bit cautious and disappointed but I will get over it and bounce back to being myself like my sister Tiger told me this morning. What is weird is that she is feeling the same way too!

What is up?

How is it going? It is very windy here in Tucson right now and some clouds are rolling about. I am sure that we will get no rain, but if we do I will be ready with my flip flops and I hope to run into Loraine and Jane in their flip flops as well.

I put on one of the door flaps on Chris's house and I will put the second one on tomorrow after the locksmith leaves. He will be here to have a look at one of Chris's doors that somehow got messed up.

I am about to get Chris up so we can stroll the hood for a bit before we hit the man-cave. I think I will have a birra while I am in the cave, smile!

  It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be up and on the move very soon. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is good and I will have a donut that my playmate bought for me for breakfast. It is a very nice morning here in Tucson but it is going to heat up quickly.

   I have no plans for today except to put on two door flaps on Chris house. Chris is chatting up a storm this morning already. I am caring for Chris today. So we will hit my man-cave to rest, relax, and reflect.

  We had a grand evening last night at "Zemans" with Paula,Marty, Shoo, and Stu. The food was extra good and spicy and we downed three bottles of red. After "Zemams" we loaded up and we met for some gelato. Wow, was it good. Thank you Paula, Marty, Shoo, and Stu for a wonderful evening.

  My mood is not the best but it is a Monday, eh? I will get over this funk that I am in for sure. I have to because I have a birthday coming up and if you know me I always bounce back from whatever I am dealing with.

Hey, what is up? Well, I have finished Chris's house except putting on the door flaps. I will get that done tomorrow.

We were just paid a visit by Papa John and Jane. They stopped by to give me a early birthday card and gift. What a treat a great card and a nice bottle of vino (rosso). Love the bottle. How did you know I adore the female body? Smile!

I have so many friends, and girlfriends and I am blessed to know them all. They have all become my family and I don't want it any other way. Thank you Papa and Jane. Love you deeply. Have a safe trip to Vegas.

Hey, we are back from the "Egg Connection". The food was as good as ever. Bobby was supposed to join us but he didn't and that really upset my playmate.

Donna is here working on Chris and he is enjoying it a lot. Lucky guy! Elise will be receiving a massage later this afternoon.

Well, I am about to paint some more on Chris's house. Just spot paint and we will be finished with his house.I do have to put in a couple of door sweeps though. It is looking good!

Here is the finished project that my playmate did yesterday. It is the front door of the main house.

We paid it forward this morning at the "Egg Connection" by paying for a couple's breakfast that Elise picked out. It is a good feeling to be able do this every now and again and they never know who paid for their meal.

   It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am getting Chris settled for Elise. Elise will be over shortly to care for Chris. Any plans for today?

  The coffee is good and we are going to the "Egg Connection" for breakfast this morning. Bobby is going to meet us there. It is going to be another hot one here in Tucson.

  My playmate and I had a very nice dinner at "Cushing Street Bar and Grill. The food was very good, great cocktails and fantastic live jazz.

  After dinner we strolled over to the ATC to see the live play "The Gospel According To Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens, and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discard. The ATC was packed and that is always a good thing. 

  The play was excellent and the acting superb. The staging was beyond belief. We recommend this one for sure. 

   We are going to meet up for dinner at "Zemans" with the crew. We know that the food will be very good and we will enjoy several bottles of wine for sure. Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris.

   We hope that your Sunday will be a blessed one. I am going to finish up on Chris's house today if it doesn't get too windy.

Hello!

How are things going? It is another hot day here in Tucson. It is starting to get a little breezy right now and that will put a damper on finishing up Chris's house.

Our pockets are a little bit lighter to say the least. We took the fur-babies to the vet and it cost $225.00. I guess I will not be having any cocktails for the rest of the month. Smile! The fur-babies are in good health.

Going to chill for a bit until I need to get ready for this evenings doings. I entered my man-cave and it was fantastic. We hope that the rest of your day will be pleasant.

   It's the Weekend! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be on the go soon. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and I will have some yogurt for breakfast this morning. David will be here this morning to care for Chris and Jayne will be here this evening to care for Chris.

   We are taking the fur-babies to the vet this morning for their annual wellness check up and vaccines. Well, it is starting to heat  up here in Tucson. It was about 93 degrees yesterday, so that means it is about time for some AC. Yeah!

   My playmate and I enjoyed our dinner at "Casa Molina" last night. Dottie (Keno Queen) was not feeling up to meeting us this time. Hope that she feels better soon. Cha Ching!

   The food was good at "Casa Molina" and so was the pitcher of Margaritas. After dinner we stopped at "Blue Willow" to pick up some birthday cards. "Blue Willow" has the best cards in Tucson.

   We arrived at the "Invisible Theater" to see the live play "I Ought To Be In Pictures" it was well done and funny. The theater was packed.

    My playmate and I are going to have dinner at "Cushing Street Bar and Grill" this evening. We love it there and they have live jazz playing while you are dining.

  The coffee is good and I will have some yogurt for breakfast. I will be hitting up the treadmill shortly as well. Marv will be here this evening to care for Chris. Bobby will be here to paint the eaves this morning!

  I have one errand to take care of today but as you know that can change at any time. I will be setting up the man-cave today if time permits. 

  Elise and I are going to be joined by Dottie (Keno Queen) this evening. We are going out for dinner and then we are going to the Invisible Theater to see a live play titled 'You Ought To Be In Pictures". It is going to be a good one.

  Well, our evening of "Mahjong" was great. The sad part is that once again I was not the "Big Wiener". We had a great meal prior to playing "Mahjong" courtesy of "Boston Market" Yummy!

  I will be the first to tell you that I am not to found of the new 2016 "Mahjong Card". Smile! I did not win one game at all. Even Shoo Shoo lost and she did not win one game as well. My playmate won a few and the (cat) won one. The big (Wiener) was Stu. He brought his (A) game last night. Jane did you go there with the wiener? I am sure that you did. A fun evening of good food, vino and great friends. Thank you Shoo and Stu.

The day is almost over so how did yours end? I rested for most of the evening. Elise prepared breakfast for dinner. We had crispy bacon, eggs, toast and a few cocktails to top that off. Yummy!

Elise has hit the sheets to read and I am watching TV. Tomorrow we are taking the fur-babies to Pet Smart to have them bathed and groomed. Saturday we are taking them to have a yearly vet visit and to get their shots update.

What is going on? Well, I got the meeting at my office out of the way. I  also went on the air base to pay a bill and to gas up the Fiat 500L Trekking.

I was going to paint a bit but it is way too hot on the south side of Chris's house. So I will wait until tomorrow morning to paint and I will wash the roof facing as well. So instead I swept and cleaned to make room for my man-cave that is going to be on the south side of Chris's house.

My playmate is at her writing class working on her book. We will be having breakfast for dinner this evening. We hope that things are going your way so far?

     Hey, my playmate brought back my dinner last night from her book club meeting at "Dante's Fire". I have to tell you I was back in Italy when I grubbed on the Parpadelle. Elise also brought back some fried polenta cakes and oh my, oh my it was good. I got it all down with a nice ice cold Corona. Thank you, Elise!

    Wow, good food, leads to good Gin Rummy! Right Jane? Great Gin Rummy (chocolate) enhanced. Have a good Humper! I will be back after my meeting this morning.

How did your day go? I have been very busy again today. I got my errands taken care of and I primed the eaves on the front of Chris's house. So now it needs a second coat. I have the south side left to do. The south side is going to be my man-cave and I have some sweet plans for it. Irie! Mon'

I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise just left for her book club meeting at "Dante's Fire". My playmate is going to bring me back some Parpadelle Diablo for dinner. I will be ready for it, you can believe that. I just put a bottle of Corona Extra in the fridge to get good and cold.

I have been thinking about this dinner all day long. I am feeling a little sassy, classy, and kiss my a@@y! WooHoo! Jane don't do it. OK go ahead and get it done. Smile!

It looks like tomorrow is going to be an other busy day for me. We just selected our season tickets for the "Live Theater Workshop" I went by to theater to turn in our form. The new
 season is going to be a good one.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a good night! I have my fork at the ready for my Parpadelle and a napkin. You know that you are doing some serious eating when you break out the napkins. Yeah!

   It's a Tricky Tuesday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise popped up this morning with me and she is making her way to the gym to start her day. Any plans for today?

  I just got off of the treadmill and I am energized and feeling a bit frisky. Jane, you know what I am talking about girlfriend, smile!

 David will be here this morning to care for Chris. The coffee is good and I will have some yogurt for breakfast shortly. I will be painting the eaves on Chris's house this morning. I will be making a trip to Home Depot to pick up another gallon of paint as well. I also have an errand to take care of this morning as well.

Tomorrow morning I have to attend a meeting at my office that I am not looking forward to at all, but what can you do?

How did your day end? It has been a busy one for me today, but it is a Monday, smile!

I am glad that I took care of the plumbing problem this morning and I didn't have to call a plumber.

I cared for Chris all day today. We had a pretty good time. We watched the carpet guy do a very good job and while he was here he told us about some must see places in Brooklyn and Manhattan. He also said that we should not miss Coney Island as well. He said that New York has the best pizza but I had to disagree. My playmate and I know that the best pizza is in Italy. Now when it comes to hot dogs that is a different story. 

Bobby was here this morning to paint the eaves on the back of Chris's house. I must and will say that he did a great job indeed! Kudos Bobby! Thank you. Tomorrow while David is here I will pick up another gallon of paint for the eaves and some metallic paint for the gutters on Chris's house. I can't wait until we are finished so I can post a few pictures of the completed project. After that we are going to paint the main house and the block walls.

   It's a Monday! How are you? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is up and about this morning already. Maybe I woke her up with the ladder noise and me going on the roof of the main house . Yep, it's a true Monday for sure. I was up on the roof snaking out the drain for the kitchen sink that was backed up and clogged. I finally got it unclogged after a few choice  words while I was up on the roof. Buttercup was keeping an eye out on me while I was up on the roof. Any plans for today?

   The coffee is good and I am on my second cup. I may need a Sheila drink. Yep a Gin and Tonic to kick this day off right. I am sure that you would agree right girlfriend? 

   I will have some yogurt for breakfast this morning and I may paint some more if time permits. I need to get on the treadmill to get out the kinks and to adjust my mood. Smile!


   My playmate and I went to see "Jungle Book" in 3D last night and it was surprisingly very good. Great 3D animation. Well, I had better get busy with Chris. The carpet cleaners will be here at 1:00pm to clean the carpets in the main house. Have a good Monday!

THE LOVELY LORAINE

Hey what is up? Elise and I enjoyed our breakfast at the "Egg Connection" this morning. Elise resumed caring for Chris when we got back home. Donna is here working on Chris. She will work on Elise this afternoon.

I did some yard work behind Chris's house and I painted some more of the trim on Chris's house. I painted all that I was going to do but my playmate took over for a bit.

I am looking after Chris right now and Elise is on the massage table. The massage therapist and I exchanged hugs this morning and she said that I give the best hugs ever. Hey, I got it like that right playmate? Toot,toot! Smile! I have known Donna for over 20 years and she is a true gem.

After Elise gets off of the massage table she will continue to care for Chris. I will go over to Chris's house and restock his supplies for next week and I will update my to-do-list for next week.

Hey Loraine,(girlfriend) yes that coffee this morning was wonderful. So good I had three cups. Yeah! Well, I had better check on Chris. Have a good afternoon.
