Good Night

Well, it has been a very eventful day here in the Old Pueblo. Marva the caregiver arrived to be trained to care for Chris and she did a very nice job and Chris liked her and that is the clincher. We will have her to return later in the month to work with Chris alone to she how it goes.

Chris and I relaxed pretty much all day today and that is good being a Monday and all. We got some news today that was very depressing having to do with people that we know and their families. I pondered today on why is it that some people seem to have more problems than others? These people are hard working folks who stay within the law and give 100% and yet things seem to happen that should not. I guess it is not for us to know but to go through and then try to move forward the best that we can.

Elise prepared a nice dinner this evening and we watched The Golden Girls on DVD along with Chris. I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise just left to play bridge at her Mom's. Well, I had better look in on Chris to see what he is up to. Have a good evening and a better day tomorrow. We will be going on another stay-cation on Wednesday through Friday. We will be at the Desert Diamond Casino and Hotel here in Tucson. We have stayed there a couple of times and it is a very nice place to rest and relax.

Joe, I am still looking in on the Hummer daily and of the two eggs only one has hatched and the baby bird is growing daily. I will take more photos when I think I can get a better shot. How is Mary doing?

Janice and Frank we are so sorry to hear about your Mom and we wish her the best and she will be in our prayers daily.
