Howdy!
How are you doing so far on this Thirsty Thursday? Well, I have completed all of my tasks on my To Do List. Yipee!
Now I can rest up for tonight's festivities. We will get our grub on at "Caffe Milano" and then we will hit up the "Fox Theater" for a live musical concert.
I am trying to hold out and not eat anything until this evening but I don't think I am going to make it until then. Man I am getting hungry.
My playmate and I are going to see the movie "Jackie" at Gateway this afternoon. Can you say large popcorn? We will for sure.
It is really heating up today and by the weekend it may be 95 degrees. Whew! Do you have a nice "White Russian" with some vanilla soft serve?

It's a Thirsty Thursday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will up and on the go soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee just finished brewing and my cup is full. I will require a second cup soon. A nice start to the day here in Tucson. It is going to be another hot one.
I just looked at my To Do List and it is going to a busy day today. Jayne will be here this morning to care for Chris.
Elise and I are going to have dinner this evening at "Caffe Milano" in downtown Tucson. After dinner we will hit up the "Fox" to hear "Madeleine Peyroux and Rickie Lee Jones". It is going to be a very good concert. Madeleine is on of our blues/folksy singers.
I have a few tasks to take care of throughout the day. We got some good news from Shoo. She relayed to us that Stu maybe coming home early next week. I am sure that he is ready to be sprung! Jane don't go there!
We hope that your Thirsty Thursday will be a good one. I am a bit perplexed though today about human nature and why do some people do what they do just to please others. Nuff said!

Good Night!
Good Night!
Did you day go well? Mine was a good one for sure. I got all of my tasks completed and that always makes me happy.
I stretched out on the front porch on one of the loungers. I was totally relaxed and I found myself dozing off every now and again. Didn't quite fall asleep due to traffic going by, birds attacking me, and buzzing insects. It was all good, smile!
I heard from my nephew who resides in Georgia. He and the family are doing well and the little one will be five years old next month. Time sure does fly by doesn't it?
My playmate prepared homemade waffles and sausages for dinner. We got it down with plenty of coffee. We watched the final episode of "Homeland" on Netflix.
Bobby dropped by for a short visit this afternoon. He relayed something that I take to heart very seriously in a text. It describes me to a (T) and I live by this quote and I always will. Especially it you get on my wrong side because this quote lets you know that something is coming your way sooner of later and you will never know when it will hit you. Here is what Bobby sent to me.
"Uncle , I read a quote today that reminded me of you..especially when you have your Drill Sergeant's hat on...it goes like this:
"Don't mistake my kindness for weakness. I am kind to everyone, but when someone is unkind to me, weak is not what you are going to remember about me."
I love this quote because like I say I will bring something that you are going to remember. I guarantee it! So if you have done me an injustice or you have said something without thinking before you speak, Beware! I always have my eyes and ears wide open.
I am caring for Chris this evening and he is giving me a real workout tonight! My shorty is in her office on her desktop.

Well, I have completed my To Do List for today. I am on a roll don't you think? The Green Lady is nice and clean inside and out. I set up the two appointments as well.
Now I can relax and lounge on the front porch until it is time for me to take over from Zack who is caring for Chris.

Zack will be here this morning to care for Chris. My To Do List has me making a few phone calls today to set up appointments for the Tacoma to be serviced and a reservation is needed for this weekend at Cushing Street Bar and Grill. The Green lady needs to be washed today as well.
Thursday evening we will be dining at Caffe Milano downtown. After dinner we will be at the Fox Theater to see "Madeleine Peyroux" and "Ricky Lee Jones" in concert. It is going to be a good one.
I heard from Shoo Shoo about Stu. He is doing very well with his PT. Shoo has a lot on her plate and we request that prayers continue for the both of them.

Did your day end well? It has been a very relaxing one here in central Tucson. A warm one too!
Chris and I chilled on the front porch and we people watched and we watched the lizards on patrol. We also listened to music on Dot Echo that was soothing.
I am caring for Chris this evening. Elise just left for the Tucson Women's Chorus practice. Tomorrow is going to be an other light for me based on my To Do List. I can tell you that my To Do List is going to pick up big time in a couple of days.

It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is stirring about so she will be on the go soon to start her day. Any plans for today?
The coffee is good and I will have a second cup along with a fruit salad. It is going to be a hot one here in Tucson today. We are talking 90 degrees today. Yes, the shorts, t-shirts and flip flops have made an appearance.
I just checked my To Do List and it is going to be a very light and easy day. That is a rarity for me so I am going to have to take advantage of it for sure.
Elise and I enjoyed the movie "Kong". It was very good and tons of action. We recommend that you give it a look. We enjoyed it in 3D.
Chris is in a good mood this morning he is chatting up a storm and finger-popping to the music. I will be making an appointment for the Tacoma to be serviced before we make our way to Mexico next week for a few days of relaxing beach time. Ole'

How is it going? We had a very nice breakfast with our daughter Kim and Bobby. It was so good to see Kim. We have not seen her in a few months. She is looking and doing very well.
I just completed my To Do List. Elise is caring for Chris. I am going to do some yard work behind Chris's house shortly.
Elise and I are going to play some ping pong this afternoon. Chris will enjoy watching us play.
We are going to see "Kong" in 3D this evening. Jayne will be here to care for Chris. Enjoy your day. I also need to stock up Chris's supplies for next week as well.

It's a Sunday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am looking in on Chris and getting him settled for Elise. Elise is not in her cave this morning so she will be over this morning to care for Chris. Any plans for today?
The coffee just finished brewing and my cup is full. I will have another cup this morning at the "Egg Connection" with breakfast. We are going to meet up with our daughter Kim this morning to get caught up with all that she as been up to since we saw her last. Bobby will be joining us this morning.
Well, I have to say it "How about those Cats?" Yes, the Cats are the Pac 12 champions. What a game last night that almost got away from them. Go Cats!
We prepared a dinner last night that was 5 Star! We had grilled jerk pork chops, grilled catfish fillets, whole kernel corn, sweet peas, assorted peppers and baby carrots. It was "Wunderbar! It was so good that on the way taking Jayne home I stopped at Dairy Queen. I picked up a quart of vanilla soft serve. On my return home with the soft serve my playmate made each of us a "White Russian" with a dollop of soft serve. My goodness that was so good. We cannot have one of these on a daily basis because if we did we would be blimps for sure, smile!
My shorty and I are going to see "Kong" in 3D this evening. We hope that your Sunday is going to be a good one. Stay safe, focused and enjoy the day because you are here.
