Howdy!
Howdy!
Well, my lovely wife and I just got back from a very nice breakfast at the "Egg Connection". The food was as good as ever.
We got to sign a farewell card for Debbie who is leaving to retire in a few days. We also got say Happy Birthday to Jeff and receive some of his birthday cake.
Elise is caring for Chris. I just finished up some yard work behind Chris's house and I plugged up the area that Houdini (Lambchop) used to escape out of the yard. She is way too smart for a fur-baby!
Well, I finally got to talk to the CEO of Casino Del Sol. I explained what happened at the casino and she apologized for it ever happening. She told me that they have been having in the High Limit Area were we were to other evening. They have had pan-handlers coming into that area and causing problems. I made it known that I am not a panhandler.
So here is the whole story:
We were in the High Limit Area and we started to play the slots in an area where there was nobody playing the slots. I pulled my chair out to sit down to play and I looked down and I saw a $100.00 bill on the floor. I picked it up and I handed it to Elise to hold on to. We stayed in the High Limit Area for about 45 minutes playing various slots and waiting for someone to claim the money. Nobody did.
Next thing I know I was approached buy two security guards asking me if I picked up a $100.00 bill off of the floor and I said yes without hesitation. I asked is there a problem? I was told that I was a thief to my face and I kept my cool but I was furious. They asked for the money and I gave it to them. They told me that I was banned from the casino for 30 days for theft. I was beside myself. I asked who is going to get the $100.00 bill they refused to answer the question. I also said that if your security was so grand, why didn't you see the money being dropped? I said that you should have been on it and gave the money back the whomever dropped it. Again no answer. I then told them that I was not leaving the casino because I have dinner reservations at PY Steakhouse. So Elise, Dottie and I left for the Steakhouse for dinner. I did not tell them that is was going to contact the CEO. For all I know the security people kept the money for themselves.
I told this story to the CEO and she apologized and that she will have the ban lifted on Monday and I would be receiving a letter in the mail. She also offered stays and dinner tickets for all of the trouble. I declined the offer. I just wanted her to be aware of what has been going on, because she would have never known about this at all. To which she stated. I am pleased with the outcome because persistence always pays off in the long run. Lucky I didn't have my Drill Sgt's hat on because it would have been a whole different ball-game. OOHRAH! Maggots!
Nuff said, but Jim Crow is alive and well in Casino Del Sol for sure. I always observe everything.
Elise and I are going to the "Loft" this evening to see the movie "Dear White People". It got great reviews and the previews were hilarious. We are also starting to pack for our cruise to Mexico that begins on 30 Nov 14.

It's a Sunday! How are you doing today? I started the day off at 5:00am getting Chris settled for Elise. Elise is at the entrance to her cave this morning but she will be up very soon.
The coffee is very good on this cool Sunday morning. Elise and I are going to the "Egg Connection" for breakfast this morning as usual.
Well, I know that I have not posted for a few days. It has been because of a situation that I am trying to get resolved with no luck as of yet.

Hello!
Hello!
How are you doing? We are back from our very short stay-cation at Casino Del Sol. We were involved in an incident at the casino that has led to me never going back to this casino again. I will give more details when I post tomorrow.
My focus today is on me treating Elise to her dinner at "Sullivan's Steakhouse" this evening. I lost the bet on the "World Series". So if you don't hear from me for the rest of the weekend I will be at "Sullivan's" washing dishes and clearing tables.
I will also be cleaning car windshield's in the parking lot. So if you are feeling sorry for me please come on out and give me a hand so I can pay the bill.

It's a Hump Day! How are you? I started the day off at 4:45am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning but she will be on the move soon. Any plans for today?
The coffee is delicious and later I will have some yogurt. Yummy! It is still a bit cold here in the valley of Tucson. Yes, the days of shorts, tee-shirts, and sandals are just about kaput! Smile!
Bobby will be here this afternoon to care for Chris. He will be caring for Chris while we are away at "Casino Del Sol". Elise and I will be heading to the casino sometime this afternoon. We will be joined by the "Queen of Keno" Dottie. I am looking forward to our dinner at the PY Steakhouse. Elise and I will be having prime rib and all of the fixin's. Yeah Mon'. No worries!
We will have our cells, tablet and laptop with us on this stay-cation. Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great day. It's a Humper! Smile, Jane!

Hey how did it go today? It is still cold here in the valley of Tucson. How much more can we stand? Smile!
Elise came in first place today at bridge and that makes her happy. Elise prepared breakfast for dinner this evening.
We had plenty of hot coffee, eggs, crispy bacon and toast with jelly. Very good. I am going to have a little vanilla yogurt fore dessert.
We have our packing done for our stay at "Casino Del Sol". We will hit the casino sometime after 2:00pm or has soon as Elsie returns home from her day of activities. Cha Ching! We hope so.
I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is in her office on her desktop. In a couple of days we will be bringing havoc on Stu and Shoo with some professional "Mahjong" playing.
We I had better get with Chris to see what he is up to. Have a great evening and stay warm.

What is up? I just returned from running my errand. I saw Paula driving around town on Broadway. I gave her a quick smile and a wave.
It is still chilly here in the valley of Tucson. It has finally made it to 47 degrees. The high is only going to be 60 degrees. We desert dwellers don't like the cold. I had to don sweat pants a sweat shirt and some thicker socks. Brrr!
Now I am hungry from running my errand, so I will have a cup of coffee and a peach yogurt. Yummy! Where's the Beef? Smile!

The coffee just finished brewing and it is nice and hot. Ahhhh! Yeah Mon'. Angelica will be here this morning to care for Chris. I have one errand to take care of this morning while she is here.
Well, I have my suitcase out and ready to be packed for our stay at Casino del Sol. We well be staying there tomorrow until Friday morning. We will be joined by the "Queen of Keno" Dottie on Wednesday. We will be pulling slots and having dinner at the PY Steakhouse. Elise and I will be saying "Prime Rib" please.
I am going to shut down the cooling system in Chris's house today and I will start up his furnace. I guess it is time because it has been a little chilly for the past two days. Time to breakout the long pants, long sleeve shirts, and the light jackets. Brrrrrrr!
Well, I had better get to bouncing. Have a good day.

Good Night!
Good Night!
Hey how was your day? It has been a good one but very chilly and still is. So chilly that my playmate has turned on the heat. I guess I am not hot enough, eh? NOT! I am smokin'.
Elise prepared a very nice dinner this evening. We had cottage cheese, mac and cheese, a mushroom risotto, baby carrots, veggie egg rolls and tomatoes. Very, very good.
We watched 3 episodes of "West Wing" with Chris. It is a very good series on "Netflix". I am caring for Chris this evening and Elise is in her office on her desktop. She is not going to the "Tucson Women's Chorus" practice this evening.
Well, I had better get back to Chris. Have a great evening.

It's a Monday! How are you doing? I started the day off at 5:00am caring for Chris. Elise is in her cave this morning and I don't think that she will be getting up anytime soon. Any plans for today?
I am waiting on the coffee to finish brewing. It is a chilly one here in the Old Pueblo. I was going to hit the treadmill this morning but it is a too cold in the shed. I will hop on it later in the day.
I have no plans for today. So I am going to take it slow and easy if I can, Monday you know. Chris is chatting up a storm this morning. What's that about?
Elise and I enjoyed playing "Wii" games yesterday after she gave Chris his "bio-feedback treatment". After Rosemary arrived to care for Chris we went to the "Tucson Women's Club" for Casino Night.
It was a nice crowd in attendance. Elise and I made our selection for the Silent Auctions. I watched Elise play (craps) she was really getting into it. Maybe we can use those skills on next trip to Vegas, eh? You never know.
We returned home and we watched our "Wildcats" win another basketball game. Go Cats! They are now 3 and 0.
Elise and I will be using our perks to stay at the "Casino del Sol" mid-week. We haven't been out there in awhile. We are going to meet "Dottie" the "Keno" expert there as well.
Well, I had better go and join in on the conversation that Chris is having. Have a good Monday!

Elise is caring for Chris and I just finished cleaning up behind Chris's house. I am also trying how to find how are escape artist fur-baby (Lambchop) got out of the yard. Buttercup told on her escape. Lampchop is now locked up in her cage until I figure out the Houdini skills that she has.
