TGIF Happy New Years Eve

Good Morning

Mood: Anticipating

Music listening to: So Right So Wrong

TGIF! Happy New Year's Eve. How are you doing? I started the day off at 4:00am due to a car horn was going off maybe due to the cold. It was our friends Paula and Marty's car that we are keeping until they return from Brazil. So I had to brave out into the 24 degrees to stop the horn from blowing. Since I was awake now I just stayed up.

It woke Elise up and she looked out the door while I was taking care of the horn problem. As soon as the problem was taken care of Elise was once again giving her version of her horn sounding off, smile. Any plans for today? The coffee is extra good this morning and I think that I will have a grapefruit for breakfast. Sounds good and filling doesn't it?

We had a good time at the casino yesterday but luck was not with us at all, but we had fun. We returned home and Elise fixed BLT's for dinner and they were great. We downed a few glasses of red and we watched "The A Team" on DVD and it was pretty good. After that we worked on a New York Times crossword puzzle, they are really hard. After the caregiver left we called it a night and I let the dogs inside out of he cold.

We are staying closed to home this New Year's Eve. Elise going to prepare some black eyed peas, ham and cornbread for our New Year's Eve and Day dinner. We have two bottles of Gruet champagne chilling in the fridge to celebrate the coming of 2011. Of course we will raise our glasses for all of our family and many friends wishing that this year will be a better one for us all.

Well, I had better get busy with Chris. Have a great day and a fantastic evening everyone. Happy New Year!!
