Sunday!!

Good Morning

Mood: Content but cautious

Music listening to: Your Love Is King by Sade'

How are you this morning? I started the day off at 5:10am looking in on Chris and getting him settled. Elise will be caring for Chris this morning as soon as she gets out of the clouds and lands on her two feet running. Any plans for today?

The coffee is good this morning and we are going out for breakfast with Mum to a place called Hometown Buffet. One of Mum's favorite places because she loves their sweet rolls. Later in the evening we are going to meet up with Paula and Marty at Zemems for an good Ethiopian dinner.

We got a bit of a scare yesterday evening because he caregiver called with car trouble and we were all set up and ready for our game night that we had planned weeks ago. The caregiver did not show so I called Rosemary who was supposed to work and I let her know that Kecia did not show up so Rosemary came to work with Chris.

The game night was a hit. We had a very nice time playing Apples to Apples and we chowed down on a variety of snacks. We shared plenty of vino and I must say that neither Elise or I won the game. We consumed two bottles of Gruet champagne while we watched our Wildcats beat Iowa. Go Cat's!! I must tell you though the Cat's gave us a scare or two near the end of the game, but they pulled it off. It was a very nice evening.

Well, I had better check on Chris and get myself ready for breakfast. Have a great Sunday and enjoy the day!

Later...........
