Good Night

Another day has come and gone. We took the day nice, slow and easy today. While Chris was being cared for by Elise I was outside doing a little yard work. After that Elise went to do some grocery shopping.

After her return we watched another DVD of "Dexter" it is getting better and better all of the time. We threw back a few rum and cokes and we enjoyed some popcorn along with it. Chris is really enjoying "Dexter" he is glued to the TV.

After Rosemary arrived to care for Chris we left for the Black Angus. We were going to get the prime rib but we decided to switch things up a bit. We shared a nice bottle of Cab. We shared a sampler platter, and Elise had a dinner salad as well. I got the New York steak with green beans and a baked potato loaded. Elise got the rib eye and a baked potato. I have to tell you it was great. For dessert we got the Fudge chocolate cake with ice cream. We ate the ice cream up together but we had the cake boxed up to take home with us. Oh yeah, coffee and cake sounds good.

We returned home and we continued to watch more of "Dexter" we are addicted. A bit later Elise called it a night and I watched TV until Rosemary left for the night. I checked on Chris and I too called it a game over. I hope that the dogs don't start up tonight like they did last night. Have a good evening and get plenty of rest.
