Good Night

Good Night

Well, the day has ended and it has been a busy one. I just about got all of my errands taken care of today, but two of them will have to wait until tomorrow. Chris and I relaxed and we played games on the Wii today. We played tennis, badminton, ping pong it was a lot of fun.

Elise prepared a soup for dinner and we had red peppers, yellow peppers, carrots, tomatoes, and cheese toast. It was very good. Elise left to play bridge at her Mom's and I am caring for Chris for the night. Tomorrow we will pack for our short stay-cation at the DDC.

On the 18th the first day of our Scottsdale stay-cation we started by going to Gus Balones for breakfast. Elise had the ham steak, eggs and potatoes. I had the pork chops, eggs and potatoes. We had plenty of coffee to keep us awake for the drive from Tucson to Scottsdale. We let the GPS lead the way.

We arrived at the Millennium Resort in Scottsdale and we checked in. Our room is very nice with a view of the lake, pool and gold course area. We got unpacked and we looked around the resort, we visited here a few years ago. We turned back to our room and loaded up on ice for you know what, right?

Yes, we had a few Jack and Cokes, yes we did. We played a few games on the laptop and we read for a while. We went to the lounge at the pool and we had a very light dinner. We had chicken wings, fries, fajitas, and a couple of glasses of red. We went back to our room and and we had more Jack and Cokes. We watched a little TV and then we called it a night. This stay-cation is for nothing but rest and that is what we did the first day. More to come about the next day in tomorrow's posting.

We hope that your day was a good one for a Monday?
